Exactly. There were no DORPs running a 40 man, we didn’t even have 20 people repping last night. What you saw and got owned by was N.W.A. (Necroz Wit Attitudes).

No it was D/ERP. They kept hiding their zerg inside the buildings in the Ogre camp waiting for us to come out.

I don’t think we even get 40 on reset. I would be surprised if you even saw 20 of us together outside of a raid, because I sure as hell haven’t!!

I suppose. Considering you do pretty well in NA prime in this match I’d say you’re balanced for T3. You’re basically where Dragonbrand was before they got transfers—top of T3 with good night time presence. T2 is all sorts of wack.

Yep T2 is crapped because people keep stacking TC/DB without anyone going to FA. Honestly SoS is more then happy with being in T3 or below as long as the RNG of going to T2 stops. Our rolls have been positive alot we had TC or DB like 5 out of 7 times so we are currently trying to get a couple more NA guilds and maybe 1 SEA then stop actively recruiting guilds.

The beatings will continue until morale improves.

I don’t know how things roll on Maguuma but on SoS most guilds have a spare commander or two for when work and/or vacations happen. Sure we’d have a problem if some of our better commanders took off, but it’s happened before and we didn’t fold like fresh linen.

We do have backup commanders for a few of them, but I think it’s an issue getting the same number of people to listen to them, unfortunately. We don’t really know what to do about it. DORP notably does not have a backup commander at all.

During our last match-up I saw random people from 10 different guilds on this wall, not really a reason to judge the whole server or guilds because of that. The problem is already known and probably will take anet another two months to fix. As for now, enjoy the free thieves-hunting simulator.

I do WvW all the time, been doing it for months, and spend considerable amounts of time in there. Haven’t had this many glitch abuse with any other servers. Just like you said, if at least 10 different guild from yak’s are just in and out sm whenever the hell they want, that IS a reason to judge the whole server. Even if anet aint fixing these bugs fast enough, that doesn’t mean they should freely abuse it. And as a server, they decides to not even gonna care? I remember when mesmer from sos glitch into Mendons. Our guys all yelled not to take port, and we all reported the person who did, and kicked the guy from the guild he was in. Seems to me Yak’s don’t have moral standards like us eh? 10 different guilds walks in and out and nobody even tries to stop them. Ridiculous.

If you really care then you should reach out to YB in private to deal with it. BTW the last thread I saw about the SoS mesmer had people saying “oh he’s innocent” so it’s not globally true.

Not all obviously but many do. During na times we typically fall back to our bl and eb, we don’t really have enough forces (apart from agg they go to other maps looking for fights) to do much aside from that. In oceanic we leave YB alone till mags is green, then we do take your stuff. Being second sucks, always the worst position to be in. Third always wants to take your place and first wants to keep you down.

I don’t think you should bother, that guy cannot be made happy. Well, unless we lose, then he will be super happy.

I was on until around 11:30pm eastern and Mag was second place at least up until then. We covered 2 borderlands and couldn’t find a zerg bigger than 10. We were looking forward to some good fights and it seemed like you guys took the night off. So if you took the lead PPT what time was this so we know when we can play?

You had such a good showing friday night it’s a little disappointing. You’re telling me you only have 3 commanders?

It was very brief, actually dropped away before the score even ticked :P We do have a shortage of commanders, always have. Most of our commanders right now prefer to run guild groups and most of them weren’t playing yesterday. You will probably see more from us during the week. Rumors of our death have been greatly exaggerated. Then again, the guy who I was replying to expected CD to beat us.

You Mag guys are providing amusement for me much earlier this week than i had expected.

Let me remind you about your own words from last week, that server No.1 in a match-up will of course target No.2 – which happens to be you this week. I know you like to bash weaker servers and i knew you would start to complain the moment you face someone stronger than you, and would start to look for excuses. That they start to come this early is really funny.

I think Yaks should actually try to double-team you guys with SoS, if SoS would be up for it, so you guys provide some more entertainment. But it’s only Saturday and a lot of things can still happen. You guys from Mag actually have to step up your efforts this week, but you can just go to PvE and do some jumping puzzles.

We’ve lost close to 100 players that I can estimate. That’s a huge chunk, if you think about it. So, against YB, people with day jobs doesn’t really equate. Same with the new patch…since we are mostly a PvE server and always have been. New patch = shiny here. haha

I’m mostly just teasing him for his multiple posts implying Maguuma is all high schoolers.

True…I don’t remember who the 3rd server was…but CD’s night coverage did us in. We’ve gotten militia to show up at night recently and are trying to teach them what to do; so our night coverage is the best it’s ever been! (Which still isn’t much comparatively lol but we can see a difference!)

You helped us take back our BL’s from you?? Hahaha…and yeah, seems people decided to play on CDBL yesterday rather than on YBBL. As you can see, we still do not have a lot of coverage if we can’t focus on 2 BL’s at once. lol

Kaineng was the third server both times, I think. Too lazy to pull up mos again. And yes, I noticed that your night coverage is better than ours now. I think DORPs raid and Xushin’s train ended at the same time last night which is when YB fell. So yes, we helped you by not playing :P I was half joking, anyway. The point is, why are people getting so bmad about getting double teamed? The only way a second or third place server can not be double teamed is if the first server doesn’t play. Furthermore, it makes plenty of sense for the first server to attack the second server to keep the point gap high.

When Mag was not focusing on one server but hitting both, I am pretty sure we were winning 2nd place, and we might still. And if CD wasn’t actually afraid to enter in Mag BL, we might have had a bit more of an even match.

Either way, there were quite a few memorable fights this week, namely the 20~ omegas in OL getting wiped

And Maguuma good job on way pointing our keeps yesterday, actually quite impressed.

CD was not afraid to enter Mag BL, EK was there multiple times this week. They just didn’t take anything noteworthy except maybe Tuesday night when for some reason all of Maguuma went to bed early (insert YB jokes about how Maguuma is all high schoolers here). I don’t recall seeing huge groups of YB taking the opportunity to hit our BL at the same time, so you can’t fault them entirely for it.

There have been multiple times that it looks that way from our perspective: Mag Zerg on one side of the map ad YB on the other. It happens to all sides, I am sure.

@ Mag.. when we were paired with TC we didn’t just afk. We fought til the last few minutes until reset same with DB and SoS. If nothing else continuing to fight a higher ranked server teaches you something. Never give up, never break, right?

The secret is we don’t actually afk. Every server has fairweathers but the people you see posting here are still in WvW every day. And no, it’s not always true that a higher ranked server teaches you something…that implies that higher rank = higher skill, doesn’t it? :P

Out of curiosity, what on earth would make you think that? Did they get a lot of transfers or something? Their coverage is still pretty weak compared to ours. They do very poorly during NA time due to lack of population and it since their night crew wagoned off to TC it seems they don’t even have enough to take SMC/our waypoints. I guess it’s possible they may have taken some but they already have waypoints again. This is about the same as the person who thinks BP could take us on now…lol
