Yeah, it’s not a skill comparison. Ark has already said they don’t care about PPT. They’d increase their chances of finding the type of fights they want by moving up tiers, but again… leagues, heh.

Nah, there are some groups that are good on Maguuma, there are groups good on Ehmry Bay, and I am sure there may be groups still decent on Kaineng (although its been a ghost town over there….), its just that Mags doesn’t pull enough PPT to break the spread and move up, Ehmry doesn’t drop enough PPT to drop. Its that ratings evolution crap which is screwing everything up. I have no doubt that both servers would dominate and be incredible in the lower league but neither has the coverage for the upper league and we will both be stomped in a way which will cause the few remaining fair-weathers to abandon WvW at unheard of rates.
I have a great solution: All of Ehmry Bay transfer to Maguuma, then invert your sleeping schedule. It will be the best thing ever #fyeahppt

Yep, Thats how boring this matchup is. Its boring fighting Maguuma. I would love to see small team fights from Mags but they just don’t do it. Every time you face one, there are always 5 more.
The few times I have ventured into ruins I have almost always been outnumbered or on even numbers with Ehmry. The very first time I ventured into ruins you guys were zerging it. I can tell you the reason I don’t enjoy fighting in the ruins is because I always end up fighting some cheesy, annoying thief that will just run away when they get low. Or it’ll be a few coordinated people who just stun you to death and there’s nothing I can do since I end up with pubbies most of the time. Zero rewards for cap points and people that will just outrun me even if I have the potential to beat them? No thanks. I don’t find venturing out into ruins with my mediocre skills to be very fun with no reward.
If that was Maguuma BL, that was Mag’s group attacking our two people who were capping. Never see fewer than 10 mags in there at a time. Way to “Breakup the Zerg”
No, it was not Maguuma attacking two people. I have no idea what game you’re playing but there were plenty of small skirmishes that involved less than four maguuma players in buttlust.
And with that, we’re just back to the same ol’ game of people over exaggerating numbers or not knowing how to count :T
I have no idea how well this matchup is going. All I know is that somehow the Maguuma group at home bl that can’t be more than 50 or 60 people carries the lag of 300. It’s crazy.
Of course, if they gave PvF medals: (at this point I wanted to put up a picture of special olympians, but I wouldn’t want to insult real competitors who achieve something real)

They had a full que, we had 4 people, Me, Mord, Mfer and some dood on an uplevel, Alamo up in this kitten. W/E the match is decided, it’s friday. It’s lion guild, they pile on people coming through the portal 4 to 1 because they dont have enough individual skill to beat even numbers.
You geniuses do the same thing to our early NA/afternoon. Karma trains happen because it’s easier/more rewarding. How many times did you see SoS come on here and complain about losing t3 keeps; especially to the Ram bug when patch hit? None. Grow some balls and move on. Complaining about being outmanned at certain time of day is getting old. Stop being a kitten. Outside of Ark/VR/PYRO I haven’t seen any organized play from other guilds this week. Not only were we trashed in all the maps including our own BL, the occasional small group fights, 1v1s, 1v2s etc were so few and far in between that the most skill that could be showcased for solo roamers was how fast you could make it to a tower, water, keep, or citadel before you were caught and violated by a 40+ zerg on every map. This week, Dragonbrand is getting trashed by TC? yeah, rank 12 definitely stands a chance against rank 5-6
lol yeah, Devon is delusional. T1 destroys TC, TC destroys the other T2 servers, T2 destroys T3 servers…on the other hand, DB’s final remnant of their NA bandwagon is moving back to T1, so maybe SoS will have a chance to beat them.

It is actually a great thing, because at the end of the day it shows ANET:
1. How ridiculous the server imbalances are even from 14-19 for instance.
2. Why PPT is a ridiculous system for measuring success.
3. How awful this new league system is going to be.
4. Why having only 2 leagues will be an awful mistake.
5. Why buffing teams/servers that have the ability to hold and maintain the new capture points will backfire….
(That is assuming they actually are paying attention and care)
Unfortunately, all they will probably see is “Wow, Kaineng much have played really really well this week”…and not take into account population/coverage. They have flat out told us that a ranked very low ranked server can beat much higher tier servers by skill alone
(I’m in no way saying you guys aren’t playing well, but for this match up GoM and us (SF) are just outmanned, outclassed…and now outbuffed)

I was unaware we had anything in EBG to begin with. If we did, it was paper, since when I woke up, we didn’t have diddly. So yeah, I would brag that you lost a fully upgraded keep over some paper. I think you made a rather large tactical error.
I’m sorry I’m not completely map aware, I only see what’s on MOS because I’m at work.

The last obvious answer is a EU presence but I’ve never heard of one on your server, but if you do have one that is my answer and I can drop this line of humor.
I’m sure actually unemployed people really appreciate your humor, because you know, they all looove their current status. Unlike many people, I don’t bother to try and infer anything about the demographics of my server. But if you want to assume everyone who does that is correct, then we have an EU zerg because we’re all (apparently homeschooled) 12 year olds. Every other server claims to have a “higher than average” population of “hard-working adults with ~families~”, so I guess someone has to be the kids’ server.
My best, honest answer is that we have an EU zerg because we have an EU commander. Ever notice how we do poorly on weekends? It’s because there’s no commander on to lead that zerg. It’s not the demographics that make the difference.

1. Get a giant blob to chase you in the direction of a cliff.
2. Get 3 elite teams to capture points all at the same time.
