Aww… I keep wanting to visit BP for a week or two as a holiday. One of the things I really wished to do during that time was run with Kalkz and company at least once lol. Suppose it’s for the best though. I don’t feel right doing it right now because not only are we in a match together, but the scores are really close. It just doesn’t feel right, and I know from BP’s perspective would probably look even worse. No matter how honorable my intentions may be.

Those overall rankings are irrelevant because you never play against guilds in other tiers. I don’t think it’s unfair. As has been mentioned numerous times by many people anyway, it’s best to de-emphasize rankings because they are impossible to perfect in this player-made system. That’s why the main page doesn’t show leaderboards at all anymore.

Marty, does the new time zone stuff automatically take DST into account?

Most people should understand it, imo. That’s the entire point about nightcapping. Two servers have to fight between NA prime points while one server (cough DB) is weak, then they take over at night and 695 like a PvD boss. Only this time it is (very, very oddly) reversed.

This topic is losing to the SoR/TC/SoS topic… was expecting much more out of u “forum entertainers”, this is such a let down.

Last Mag + BP thread was just a bunch of boring borderline RP trying to get the thread to 20 posts and a lot of BP chest-thumping about how “we would roll Mag if the third server in the matchup was more even.”

The dreaded Karma Train was the exact reason I left my first server. Funny, ever since WXP, everyone seems to want to do that more than actually trying to do something productive or fun. :| I remember the epic battles for a keep or garrison wether we were the attackers or defenders. I miss when people actually cared. Now, people look for p v door more than they do pvp. In fact… some of our zergs seem to avoid all conflict altogether. Not my definition of what wvw should be.

I think it was RE. That was a funny night. It was in the TC era of ‘if you behave we will grace you with duels’ attitude and RE was still on Kaineng. Instead of just showing up for duels it had to be this big event and then it was a cluster kitten with line ups. I remember after an hour one of our mesmers got so bored he started pulling the enemy line up to see if he could get the order all mixed up

From the 20 minute waits between rounds where RE members rage quit and you had to find replacements, to your fellow guildies hard downing my guys after they went over to you to clear any stacks they had every single time we beat you, to you guys coming over to recount HOPE’s numbers and taking your sweet time to check out our comp (wouldn’t care but this was in between rounds and we just wanted to fight), the respect my guild has for that GvG is pretty much non existent.

Pretty much, but personally i have never been bothered by the notion cause i consider it along the lines of food and oil/stone/crystal. I often encourage ppl pick up a cheap weapon to throw a major stack sigil on to buff up their stats as we do things that don’t involve combat with the enemy. The hatred towards them has been growing though and not many are willing to put up with the trouble. /shrug

What does that have to do with GvG? o_o You’re not supposed to do it in GvG because it’s supposed to be about equal footing and stack sigils create a small snowball effect over time. Though it also makes me sad that they plan to make it so if you remove a stack sigil weapon, you lose all of your stacks.
