We have people of all ages playing, but I get the impression that BP does have a higher percentage of older people playing. Part of that comes simply from every conversation not being 14 year boy trash talk, but for other reasons as well.
I have been defending the BL on more than one evening when the topics of conversation have been the kids high school (or even college) graduations, second marriages, vacation properties, bad backs, bad knees and the general annoyance of not being able to punish one’s body like you can in your twenties without paying for it. 
I for one would love to see a debate between YB and BP on who is the more mature server! Please commence!

It’s you guys that actually care about PPT, not me. Beating a server with higher ranking doesn’t even mean anything except that the other server’s coverage is in flux. So the former. i honestly do not know how to respond to this. A completely ignorant comment made by someone that some ebayers respected. It is the most incorrect statement you could make in regards to the topic. borlis has huge coverage during all time slots and they refuse to leave thier towers w/o outnumbering you 4:1. Do you not realize how many people have transferred to your server? All of our fair weather rally bots left our server about a month ago leaving us out-manned consistently during prime hours.

On the website you can apply to a guild which has to be approved by a member with the rank to do so.

IMHO the archive should really be gw2gvg.com, if we’re aiming for a video archive. Forum threads have their own limitations. You can’t aggregate all matches into one post because you’ll run out of space, and if you can’t do that, you’ll still be digging through something. I think it would be cool to have some sort of “Guild of the Week” for the GvGing guilds on the gw2gvg.com website in the same vein as the GotW from GW1. Maybe longer than a week, since it would take a fair amount of work. It would be cool to learn a bit more about guilds and the people in them, how they run, and so on. I’m especially interested in guilds in the lower NA tiers that I never see and a lot of EU guilds that I never will see. Am I the only one that thinks so?
A guild spotlight kinda thing would be awesome for GvG showdown, or for gw2gvg. Maybe interviews with members etc. Would be great for the well known guilds as well as some upcoming guilds.
Yeah, it would work as a Showdown segment, as well. My personal preference is text, though. And also, I think doing it separately from Showdown will distribute the work more evenly, since Ogre already puts a lot of work into it.

Okay fine, old Ehmry. I haven’t really seen them in awhile. The main point is that in the end, the “winner” is determined almost purely by coverage. It has nothing to do with skill. Only when coverage is near equal does it matter, that happens approximately never. At least for Maguuma.

Everyone knows my guild is about good fights (or was, until it died) and I’m allergic to karma training. Frosch has been stalking all our subsequent matchups after their loss, because a commander made a not so inside joke(Rekz stating if BP beats us we are transferring) on our forums that he would leave if whatever server Frosch was on didn’t come in last….been bent ever since.
He was in a few of our matchup threads too, I think. He was definitely very happy when we played against JQ, but we had so much fun with that forum thread that I think we still won :P

Sadly I think it is true I heard BP, the backbone of DB, transferred to T1. Poor Calvin and Eithinan
I actually quit BP over a month ago I had been running the raid schedule for a year and needed a break. They were very fun to raid in WvW with. I am not sure if BP went there as a full guild or not officially. Im sure they all know this but i hope they have a good time and find what they want wherever they went, SOR I think.
