I only recall one fight with me there. It was at the ruins on the first night (iirc). One of your elems either came down after us or fell off the back side and we killed them quickly. We then portaled up and killed 3 more. I only recall four but I got there a little late.
The fight was over very quickly since you got hit offguard and were seperated. Pretty sure you were distracted by something else and we also outnumbered you. I didn’t see it as a clean fight so I deleted the footage.
I’m not really big into kittenswinging. What happens happens. Good groups are going to win some and lose some to other good groups.
Any group we “lose” to we would remember the guild tag, without evidence there is no point in even making a claim that you beat us. There is no guild that has beaten us in a straight 5v5 fight and this is because the only other group I would consider “good” would be AoN who are also on Maguuma.

You guys are actually pretty mediocre. NAME has been doing WvWvW for a little over a week and I can recall many times where we have ganked you and your members. You guys are just looking for kills everywhere you go. This makes it extremely easy to bait your team around while making you forget about the real objectives of WvWvW.
Uh, they don’t care about the real objectives of WvW, you aren’t making them forget anything. They don’t care if you beat them 30v2 either. And for the record as much as I find Bunzy’s forum PvP to be lacking, I really doubt an even numbered group of NAME could beat OG. But let’s find that out at fight club, shall we? Nobody is answering and it’s making me sad.

I think Bunzy is the only one that uses the glowy daggers in OG but I might be wrong.

There is something extremely amusing about calling a fairly civil person a troll immediately after troll posting that your guild is leaving your server. Just sayin’.
I really do like this guy. What does map chat on your server look like? I’m not looking for strats. I’m from DR if we cant run through it with numbers we keep trying or switch maps. You don’t need a playbook for that.

Uhh, it’s not always the most pristine thing in the world, I won’t lie. We mostly get along though and we definitely get along in Mumble. If you want to see a good WvW community, being on our Mumble is the place to be. It’s a giant hodgepodge of guilds and individuals that all work together as a team.
Only thing I have seen so far BP begging maguma and devona to ally with them and seems maguma favors BP. They almost don’t attack each other’s BLs and when BP gets attacked by Maguma and Devona they start whispering trying to make deals. Maguma also only achieve something when they outnumber enemy 2:1 with golems and avoiding fight letting BP Devona fight while they PvDoor their stuff on other side. Devona might stay or fall from this tier due to getting double teamed but in the end Devona will be the one going up when match up changes.

What are your play times during the week? We should have a fight club. And by we, I mean not me, because I will lose. But there are definitely people on Maguuma that are interested. Thursday night or Friday some time, when the match is probably decided.
I can respect that, though we might all be in this tier for a few weeks, haha. Maguuma is not often considered a “winning server” though. We’ve won what, like 3 times now? 4?
By the way, I dunno how true “Not attacking BP moves us out of 3rd” is…after all, wasn’t a large part of your catchup from owning half of BP and EBG?

Joke’s on you, we’re losing ranking points this week unless a miracle happens. For the overall WvW perspective, this match has been a lot more interesting and the thread has had gasp much more cross-server respect. I could get used to that.

That’s not to say that scenario doesn’t happen either…we can be distracted by shiny things depending on the situation :P I am from Maguuma though, dunno if that’s what you saw.
I don’t know what this is all about since I was on Maguuma BL defending all night, but commanders make mistakes (if it was a mistake). Give him a break. People don’t learn through public humiliation, PM him with your criticism and don’t be a jerk about it.

Can we please stop talking about hacks and exploits in this thread? Asking of a server has a guild that “always exploits” is not a good direction to steer this thread in.
I suggest each server have a few contacts for this so you can PM us if you find our server doing something suspicious. For Maguuma, you can PM either me or Besetment.9187. We can get into contact with most of the major WvW guilds easily.
We aren’t really mad, but the fact that you seem to think that it’s your superior skill rather than superior recruiting that has us beaten is quite an odd notion. You can admit that without saying anything about your skill but instead you went for the inflammatory route. But if you can reply to my above posts instead of strawmanning it more then I might be convinced otherwise!

Borderlands are designed to encourage the two invaders to tag team the defenders (who have an absurd advantage).
Rest of the map all looks pretty standard. YB’s strategy in EB has always been to smash Red with numbers then move on to blue because it lets them leverage their numbers in the best way (as in, capture the red keep which essentially means you control red’s lands, much in the same way controlling SM means you—should—control the surrounding towers). Mag’s strategy has always been to stab Ebay in the back even if it hurts themselves in the long run.
So, really, nothing out of the ordinary in that picture.
I see your EB strategy is working well for you, with the whole having two towers on Ehmry’s side and none on ours. Speaking in absolutes as to what your or our strategy is ridiculous, so please don’t presume to judge what our intentions are. We had a number of people running around in Yak’s Bend’s BL tonight too, but it wasn’t enough to take east keep. And please don’t bring that argument back that we should have abandoned our west keep on Ehmry Bay’s BL to go attack east keep “for the greater good” because that argument is old and silly.

YAKS will attack you because you are in SECOND place and they want to hold onto first place. Maguuma will attack you because your server is in second place and THEY want to take second place. But keep talking about how ‘skillful’ you server is vs the others, it never gets old.
If you can’t understand or deal with that fact, perhaps its time for you to find a game that is better suited to your comprehension.
I seem to recall our last WvW match when Ehmry was stuck in third and Yaks and Maguuma were all too happy to both try and target us as a priority. Sooo i’m inclined to believe that placement has absolutely nothing to do with this.

Or are you saying the large PPT lead you had early in the morning or the embarrassing amount of time you kept our east keep aren’t because of outnumbering both Yak’s Bend and Maguuma at night and during the workday, and that you somehow gained a large amount of skill fighting in T5?

I mean, it’s just getting so stale lately. It’s like I’m in the twilight zone, fighting against the same tactics constantly, while my own server is using basically the same tactics constantly. Again, it’s not really discrediting anyone’s server. It’s just so boring. I can’t wait for this upcoming WvW patch.
Dragonbrand is predicted to be green in T4 next week, so maybe that will excite you. With the transfers that some servers have been getting in T4/T5 I wouldn’t expect this matchup to be frequent anymore.

Im gonna make you eat your words but some excuse will be made Im sure. What follows is unedited all random pics I took while sitting up there at exact timeframe where “10 of us” were camping puzzle. FYI it was 3 of us + sometimes a 4th and I sat ahead of others for 1v1s if people so dared. Hi to all Yaks/Ebay that refused to attack me alone until you had greater numbers (all but that YAY thief guy). BTW it took you 10+ from both servers to finally kill me, Yaks let ebay up first and followed after ebay all died. We also were back up top again in 5 mins and laughing as Ebay sat at bottom waiting for ports. GW2 WvW in a nutshell.

Your posts are always so interesting…what server was it that had arrow carts and ballistas at spawn and 20 defenders on the ground, and trebuchets and so on in the EBG puzzle? Hint: not Maguuma. I hear a kettle!
They are usually announced the day of by Tzenjin of FTF (I think?) in the thread. Usually they’re later in the week when the score has settled but they did it yesterday for whatever reason. There’s a good mix there, I saw several D/D eles, guardians, mesmers, thieves, and warriors. I was one of two engineers there, and the other was also from Maguuma so I couldn’t duel him I wouldn’t call them “copy & paste” since a lot of these people are very skilled, but whatever.
Yo, I was that other engie! The fight club was rather spontaneous. My friend and I saw a Maguuma player dancing with an Ebay thief, who turned out to be his girlfriend. We hung out for a while and some other FTF players joined, then we started to do a very small fight club haha. We had to move around a bit to new locations but gradually more and more started to join. Lots of good fights were had
