I would have bet on pre-exodus IoJ to win T4, but now Mag has a serious shot of winning (even if they don’t care lol). It will be a blowout depending on whether Mag or YB has the better off peak coverage. Week after that will be Mag/YB/Kaineng. Grab the popcorn.

YB has always had better coverage than us, it feels like. We’ve only fought them once without Ehmry recently and it was during the holiday season, so I’m not willing to draw many conclusions from it. I’m sure lots of people from this week will be interested in watching us get owned fight hard, though.

This isn’t the first numerically lopsided video they’ve posted, so I think the zerg quality at T6 is just that bad. They did have a commander in that video and they did have a few smart people jump in between the party, so I guess you guys are those smart people and the rest of the zerg is the indifferent crowd watching you die.

Yup, seems like IoJ accidentally turned into FA. Still looking forward to the match since we’ve never played a full one against them to my recollection. Meanwhile, it looks like Kaineng has gotten a few guilds, so T5 will be “fun”.

Pretty sure ours will be IoJ and Yak’s Bend. T5 will be Ehmry, Kaineng, and DR or BP. The predicted rating is very close right now and could possibly change, but it will probably be DR.

Here’s the thing; You transferred a large number of people into a low tier and primarily due to your numbers and no opposition in your time zone you bumped that server to where it is currently at.

However, now you are getting into tiers where neither your numbers nor your time zone will ensure continued victory. The Tier 4 servers will put a stop to your advance, your troops will become demoralized because your server doesn’t have round-the-clock coverage needed to advance further, and most everyone who wants to play in T1-3 will transfer off of Kaineng before players have to pay for transfers.

To sum this up; No thanks.

Actually, since guesting comes at the beginning of the week, it falls to Ehmry to do all of that in T5. If they get enough points to skip into T4 next week, well, I don’t think much demoralization will happen.

I for one am glad to be privy to this context-free post that most of us probably don’t care about anyway.

Other servers can’t see custom emotes, so it wouldn’t work. Though I always interpreted the “gestures” that replaces it to be flipping the bird so I guess it’s about the same.

The funny thing about OG is that there’s no leader, no strategy, no coordination, no voice chat, and yet also no one in this tier or the next that can beat them in a straight up fight.

There was so much trash talk last week that I was really excited to get some challenging fights when I came back this week. But wow, what a disappointment.

LARP? Couple good players, but we beat them 5v5 and the general comment afterwards was ‘wait, did anyone take damage?’ Bsty? Lol. First day back and 2v4’ed them easy. I’ll hand it to that thief in white/black though, he’s kitten good at running away from a fight. NoQQ? Well their ele is good, can’t say much for the rest of them. AD? Hard to find AD unless they outnumber you 2:1, but when ya do, it’s not much of a fight. That poor little Asura thief probably needs stitches by now.

The competition just really didn’t live up to the expectations I had from last weeks thread.

Why do people think that the enemy won’t react when you put up swords…? Then when they do, oh it has to be a spy! It’s like people don’t get that wiping groups at the lord is the greatest dream crusher there is.

Clear siege, watch entrances/exits, call out scouts, and watch your butts, and you’re least likely to get jumped.

Because zergs have been showing up before swords go up….in absolutely random locations. ive tested it out in our TS personally, when we give out info in party only or give out conflicting info in TS we’ve been significantly more successful. Its clear someone is feeding info….not that i really care personally, Ive found ways around it.

Just to give you a little insight into the structure of WVW on Maguuma. We have a tiered system to determine who is tasked with offense, defense, roaming, commanding zergs, commanding strike forces, etc its all very organized thanks to a couple of ex-Seal GOONs. If you transfer over you can take a look at the Organization Structure and Culture document on the public file server.

Anyway….

Our server initiates are tasked to only watch the map and report what’s happening in Mumble the instant they suspect anything. If you’re new to the server and do not prove your fighting abilities or if you mess up in front of JerkJerk you get assigned map duty for a week.

It’s not so bad, Rebel Daughter worked his way up from map duty. Bunzy was on map duty for a long time and now look at him. I personally have never had map duty but that’s because I’m ex-military with 4 tours under my belt.

I’m going to call BS on this as well. This may be how your guild functions, but not the server as a whole. I know many players who exclusively WvW and none of them would take someone’s “order” to do “map duty” seriously. This is not military, nor will it ever be, since there is no way to enforce this hierarchy on the players or discipline them should they choose to not do as asked.

North supply is DR’s precious baby this week. I think on Saturday or Sunday we wiped 5-6 times trying to take that supply camp because it would always have 3-5 ballistas set up and people guarding it. Even when the guard was minimal, a zerg would stream out after we put up x’s and take us down. Certainly fun fights up there :P

That’s what fight club tends to end up being, the same people coming out to have some dueling fun. I think the crowd was fairly static on Maguuma for a long time until you guys came along :P

I’ll be fair, I didn’t really think about it, but that video is actually not really counter-evidence anyway. The dude made the accusations during the first match, not the second one. I requested evidence and someone even pointed him my way later that night but he never got it or intentionally ignored it. I don’t know why it didn’t surface until this week.
