Downed players get the conditions and direct damage from marks though when a living player is standing next to him. Same with objects, they get the direct damage of the marks if a mob is standing next to it. Marks just need a living mob/player to trigger.

Loved to do this on downed players, dot them up and spread the dots on the other players who wants to rescue him.

Does anyone even use posion cloud?...

1. Just use the same minion skills underwater as on land, only the golem disappears.
2. auto staff is bad, but atleast it hit harder than the mesmer bounce auto
3. youre right, this is bad. I let them die on the way and summon them just when I need them again.
4. condition, minion, well, bunker, power, ds, support and siphon just to name a few.

Last gasp wasted if procing in DS?

Same here, condition necro. Maybe it’s the numbers of attacks/bleed per second or that I have high vit/toughness.

Sometimes I tell myself I just do awesome dps therefor I got the aggro and condition spec is the best.

10 in blood for MAX condition build. Master Tuning Crystal gives you +6% based on toughness and 5% based on vitality.

Though you can put them where ever you like, +5 condition damage won’t break a build

30 points into spite seems like a waste for me, at least with rabid gear, with rampager it may be another thing. You can always use buff food for 40% more condition duration.

I would always go at least for 20 into death for faster staff recharge and bigger marks, which probably nets you more ae-damage. The last 20 points are a personal choice, every other tree is possible, depending on gear and playstyle.

For max condition damage go full curses, full death rest blood.

Full condition damage and toughness gear (like rabid).

Superior Corruption sigil (+250 cond).

Rune of the Undead + Master Tuning Crystal + Truffle buff food.

Get your might stacks and have fun spreading those 150+ blood tics.

The toughness buff from “Dark Armor” doesn’t increase condition damage (runes and buff food transform % of toughness into condition damage)

did it some time ago:

with no traits an armor I could use the same amount of lifeblasts as with high vitality and traits. Lifeforce depleted the same, no matter how much lifeforce I had. So the trait bonus is bogus and high toughness probably benefits ds more than high vitality, if taken damage.

I run a full condition necro with 20/30/20/0/0. It let me either choose to go enhance my marks (greater, faster, harder) for wvwvw or my minions (tougher, healthier, harder) for pve.

The minions enhance one aspect which is miss greatly with my conditions: direct damage. Golem, blood and bone fiend do good damage, infact very good damage imho. Epidemic never leaves my bar, only for boss fights without adds I choose eiter blood is power or corrupt boon.

I don’t care if they die, it just means someone else didn’t got hit (ae is limited to 5 targets).

I played with it the last whole day in wvwvw and I liked it very much.
The guys which I dotted up and used epidemic on with 145/tic and 10+ stacks didnt’t liked it so much.

Dont forget about power. Power increases your base attack-damage which is also the base if you crit.
A high power, critcchance and low critdam build may be better than a low power, high critchance/critdam build.
But I am not a mathmagician, it is up to someone else to find the sweet spot of power, cc and cd.

We have so many means to gain lifeforce, just 5 into sr increases it by 5%, 20 for marks gaininig lf.
We hardly have any selfbuffs, 10 stacks of might every 30 or 24 seconds is a buff for me.

Every class has power + condition duration as it’s first trait line. Then it differs, some have crit + critdam, some toughness + cond etc.

It is bugged, can cleanse every other class, guardian buffs wont come down.
Used also spectral grasp on a guardian in wvwvw several time, I always got pulled to him instead he to me.

I am getting tired of conditions. Tried 30/30/0/0/10 and 10/30/0/0/30. The first one is nice, since axe mastery also makes your ds hit harder, but I am missing alot of crit.

Its fun in wvwvw, spam lifeblast for might stacking, target someone with alot of bleed and spread it with epedemic, had bleed ticking for 200 yesterday.
I am going to try this with might on signet use and the charr battle roar today, 12-15 stacks of might should be possible.

Dont know if a bug, but:

summoning minions underwater is so much faster than on the land.

Also: casting spectral armor and walking through spectral wall doesnt increase the protection boon, walking through the wall first and then casting the armor does increase the duration.

Hunter pet fear is AoE and 2 seconds
Warrior Fear is AoE and 3 seconds

Mug crits for like 7k damage
Our fear damage trait crits for 44

We are OP like Master Yi.

1. I never have seen Terror (fear does damage) crit
2. Damage of Terror scales with your lvl, a lvl 1 does 44 damage, at lvl 80 it does ~700 (depending on power) damage
3. Stop posting nonsense without testing it yourself

dunno what he is talking about, terror does up to 900 dam for me, it is great for denying a selfheal and bursting someone down.

- Spectral Attunement works only for Spectral Armor and Spectral Wall
- You gain no Protection Boon from Last Gasp
- Spectral Attunement doesn’t work with Last Gasp
- Casting Spectral Armor and then walking through Spectral Wall doesn’t increase the duration of the Protection Boon, other way around it works
- Vitality increases Life Force, but it makes no difference to the degeneration time while being in Death Shroud (intended?)
- Chill of Death decreases your autoattack when it does porc
