These balance changes are in no way the bulk of the WvW changes. There are numerous, WvW specific changes in bound.

Any chance of fixing aoes so they can’t go through the back of the lords room in the Bay keep. Why ‘fix’ the splash damage of catas through gates but not other forms?

The simplest answer is that they are not the same thing. It’s simpler to make changes to siege weapons than to player skills because there are more repercussions to player skill changes.

Interesting, so that means we are able to trade prints this patch or has that been ignored again? Can we get movable siege as well or repackagable siege at least? ESO is going to have it, why can’t we?

They need to do these things before they should even think thier job is valid at anet.

- Fix the supposid ‘skill’ matchup system
- Display ranking point and a +/- of match results
- Need minimum rank to enter tpvp match
- Separate solo and premade (teams of 3 and up are premade)
- Have prioritised que for 5v5 man premade
- Give us the option to que with premades to fill the 1 or 2 spots left
- Have an option to report people for leaving/idle
- Have an option to report bad player in solo que
- Keep everyone’s name in the scoreboard, just grey out leavers so that we can report them
- Replace leavers with another player
- Make it so leavers cant join another instance in GW2 till that match is over, also invoke an instant loss and next tpvp match a loss to thier rating even if they win

pvp and pve should be seperate or together, none of this inbetween stuff. let me kill pve’ers or remove pve from wvw and let me progress independently from pve. what makes spvp so special it gets it’s own system?

For my thief I just want to show bulk flesh and have armor as outrageous as a mesmer. But I cant, just let me transmute light armor to medium. I am sick of looking like a cowboy and wearing baggy clothes.

Just remove armor types and have it as a passive class skill. So we can really mix and match.

Let the community design new armor, because your staff are not every good a doing .

Nocturnal is a mature age gaming guild that has spanned many games over the years. We first formed for the game Dark Age of Camelot and boasted one of the most successful guilds in the game. We gained reputation for our keep defenses and leadership, especially in the US offpeak hours hence the name Nocturnal (meaning: of the night).

We have been a presense in World of Warcraft, Warhammer Online and now Guild Wars 2.

We aren’t hard core, but the time we spend in game is usually organised and dedicated to creating experiences that our guild members will remember forever. Our experienced WvW team provides us with the ability to shape our warfare dynamically around the zergs, also when required head on with co-ordinated attacks/defends with those on BGTS.

Nocturnal is looking for self sufficient and motivated players that don’t need to be levelled or given charity. We put in the hard work on our characters and we expect you to as well. Nocturnal isn’t a free ride.

If you have an event you want to participate in, organise it in advance and we’ll create an event for it.

To join Nocturnal, you must:

• Be 21 years or older and community focused (i.e. not a self-serving arrogant prick).
• Have a basic understanding of Guild Wars 2 or Elder Scrolls Online and how it works
• Enjoy both PVE and PVP. We have regular events for both.
• Understand that our main focus for the game is World vs World/Player vs Player. Many of our events will be centered around it.
• Our prime playtime is GMT+10 evenings (7:30pm-11:30pm usually). Our events are planned around this timezone. We are getting an increasing amount of kiwis. If we get enough there will be events specifically for that timezone.
• Be self sufficient – we aren’t a charity/power levelling guild though we’ll do our best to plan events for everyone.
• Voice communication (including microphone) is mandatory through our Teamspeak 3 and BGTS.
• Have a great sense of humour, we like to do crazy kitten and video it!

Player vs Player / World vs World

Nocturnal’s main focus will be about World vs World/Player vs Player battles, tactics and success. You must also:

• Be willing to contribute cash or blueprints each week for guild events. Jumping puzzles are run as a guild.
• Be a team player, not all tasks in WvW/PvP are fighting. Sometimes you’ll be asked to do things that don’t directly relate to fighting the enemy.
• Understand our goal is to be renowned as great PvP fighters and tacticians.
• Be willing to lose to learn, without nerdraging.
• Undertake resource gathering for the guild while in the WvW zones.
• Understand its expected that you fight with the guild, for the guild and server/alliance.

Player Vs Environment/Dungeons/Guild Missions

• We have members that constantly run high level FOTM.
• Our members are also very experienced in all other dungeons.
• Guild missions are held regularly, we are looking at doing Tier 3 Bounty currently.
• World bosses, map clearance/world completion are also things we cater for.
• The Legendary Buddy System® – helping members complete tasks on their road to legendary completion

We do expect a high level of guild participation in planned events. The guild will be regularly cleansed of players that don’t participate in our community or log in during our event times unless the guild is advised beforehand. If you had an emergency and couldn’t contact us for an extended period, by all means you’ll get an invite back, just speak with one of the officers upon your return.

In GW2 we are located on Blackgate server.

We are yet to finalise an alliance in ESO, will play all but focus on one.

Well you could just give actions a score and keep a running total of all kills, caps and defends done within in a score period and reward a chest like in spvp. Scale the boxes depending on how many people are on the map at the time for your team.

As a warrior we just ask for versatility. We see a light armor wearing class bounce around between players inside of a zerg from a down state that is well below other classes. Only to watch them turn into mist and escape heal up and wait for cool downs on their 20 skills and come back in for another go to finish everyone off.

After that is addressed could we be made sexier, make 1hs/1hs awesome to play, give it passive skill interruption. At the moment make me feel like a slow moving kitten Give us some sweet looking animations. Anything an ele does particles are going everywhere, whereas we have to rely on legendary and high end exotics to get anything going.

I know this isn’t going to happen, but say it anyway, seperate pve and pvp.

So many theives are going to qq that they are going to get rolled because of culling being turned off.

Clearly not listening to the population again. How about you read some a suggestion topics aimed at this. Make it a guild perk only achievable in wvw, remove the 100g from it so pve players cannot buy it

Also hope this wvw update removes commander tags, with gold refund and make them only available through guilds and influence. Pve players do not deserve to have a pasty blue icon on the map. They already have better gear then us.

This is a good troll post. I think having more then 5g is rich and if I have to pve to get better gear that isn’t available from pvp then you have to slug it out in wvw to get your few precious parts for map completion. Pve players can just farm gold to pay to transfer to a server that they have the parts they need for map completion. A pvp player has pride in their server and won’t leave just to get a few ticks in the box. So just go back to your dungeons and mountains pve of content. Farm some gold, exchange some gems, transfer and there you go.

Please don’t qq in our forums unless you have something great to share like a dolyak steak recipe or screens from your servers dolyak parade

I thought I was rich when I had 10g from wvw then pve players said they had 2 legendary and spare 200g from the same play time.

This is just a rinse repeat of what tor was. They say there is great combat system with awesome rewards and ever evolving. When it is actually flawed, lacks reward and all round fail. The only reason people are still he is that it’s free. I would like to see wvw only achievable gear/items then pve get them 3-4 months later.

Remember to up vote the OP. Because even the forums gets a content update before wvw

When I used to play WvW more with my guild my call-outs were like:
- 5 people.
- 10 people.
- 15 or so.
- Invisible army!

In GW2 my guild is dead. Culling is just one negative aspect that has turned them away.

This is my favorite part of wvw. They should just make everyone stealth and give everyone those finder things from halloween to sniff out the enemy

Would it possible to make guild permissions to override the commander tag. So when you are representing a certain guild. The GM could set a permission to allow the use of commander tags. If you stopped representing that guild and represented a guild where you had permissions to display it then you could.

Also further making it only available through guilds in influence and not gold as currently there isn’t much reward in the ways of gold to get that much. By making only open to guilds that have reached Art of War 5 and only through the purchase with guild influence or badges would make it more of a reward or progression then someone from the pve side of the game just farming 100g then buying it and making bad decisions that randoms follow.

Even if you didn’t make it across in the free transfers Blackgate would make a great new home for your pvp needs or your guild.

Welcome to WvW we don’t care who you are, if you are not on our team, you will be dead. We can’t pvp in your pve zones so we are not going to let you pve in our pvp zone.
