a fix will be a less of a grind but it wont happened:
- First because they thing you need something to do (and is good that they think that) but problem is in order to do that you are depending on others << that sucks bad for everyone whos playing solo. They wont remove this style, never, coz they have this “getting ppl together at any costs”, hence open lining story(not personal story)/grinding/megaservers/whatever
-Second: GW2 China, they need grind… a lot. Yea, yea, yea, they said gw2 china have nothing to do with our gw2 but the residual things will keep on creep in. They cant make complete two separate games on one game budget.

so get to terms and accept the facts, you want that item then you walk on the path. like a small disclaimer :P

A normal Master’s Salvage kit costs 15.36/25c so that’s roughly 64 copper per use.

After seeing the Alchemy cutscene I think there are actualy seven dragons. Pale Tree is the 7th.

From the cutscene or they compete over the center spot like a king of the hill game or… more likely Pale Tree is a beast with 6 stomacs and is time for feeding. He just activate a power like you socket a weapon.
As far that I remember the way Pale Tree defeat the dragons is by spawning more and more sylvary until dragons are overwhelm by them.

You guys forget him, Canach story is tied of Consortium story.
Consortium story was a madeup story to justify selling infinite gathering materials. Anet say that here

Even that Consortium story was in paralel with Flame and Frost living story this dont mean is a part of the plot. The main living story back then was introducing Braham and Rox. During the entire living story Cahach was on and off again but this can be said about thowse quaguans, some refugees and random npcs, just they are not massively know by ppl. Probably by now even Kiel and Evon are done with the living story, they are in charge of LA and we are miles away. So please stop shoe horn Canach in everything.

I was just about to say we need to block out the sun to kill them all but it hits me. Sylvari EAT MEAT… of other species. In lore the way they defeat the dragons is Slyvari multiply over and over again until they overwhelm the dragons. Did everyone ask wht thowse Slyvari will eat, when they consume all natural resources?

dont know much about the lore but I’m preaty sure all sylvari come from a tree, no matter if is the pale tree or any other tree that we dont know about. The soundless are sylvary who broke away from any dream no matter if is pale tree dream or nightmare dream (I’m not sure if being a nighmare state have a dream too)

there is two diferent things, Sylvari are connected, this is how they are build from the start, like Borg from startreck. Except the time whrn they disconnect because their router fail :P

Made jewelcrafting in 2012 forgot everything about it (probably this days the most useless craft in this game because it was left behind) and yesterday I look closer on the matter, just in case they add jewelery lvl 500 or Legendary accesories.

I’m refering in this post at combining gemstones from the lowest lvl up to highest. Everithing is ok except this 3 gems. For example:

starts up from the lowest gems, you can combine them up to Spinel Lump. Then… it stops. No more progress, meaning in this game since 2012 is pileing up spinel lumps and will continue since is no massive sink for them or progress upgrate.

and now this two:

the only gems what is need it for two higher gems. Peridot is used in Beryl Shard and Emerald Shard. Lapis is used in Beryl and Saphire.

In case of Legandary this two gems prices and their upgrated versions will go sky high, the Light armor crafting fiasco will look like a joke compared to this. At least light armor is used only by light armored professions but accesories.. everyone use that.

Why not Emarald to be made from Peridot, Saphire from Lapis and Beryl since is a made up jewel to be made from Spinel, since is no progress anyway for that.

Anyone with more brain then me make any sence of this? rest of jewels have a more linear upgrate progress, also I left out pasionate flowers and azurite on purpose, they where added later in the game, let them mabye for another topic.

same go for living story too. In the first hours when marionete was on, no one knew what to do or even how to start the event? Many question where that hour: We need to start it? it starts by default? Are we in the right place? mabye is bugged. mabye it starts the next patch and now is just the map.

wrum too. on my server they start to do every event possibile in that map just in case. Some one read that they need to escort “something”. I dont think any events on that map where so heavy escorted since game launch

this, first they wont have you pay once and they do the work twice. Now you pay for Total makeover kit to change the face, then in few weeks: New hair style. And you will say “ohhh, if Ik new it now I need to buy another kit” probably you think you get over with just the hair kit but we all know the face will not be ok with the hair so you need to buy the total :P

thanks for answers, I did not make the ascended backpack after all. I wear an exotic ptv backpack with an azurite jewel on it since 2012 and looking for an improvement on this for my tanker warrior (I want the best tanking stats possibile)

but for some reasons ascended soldier give less vit then exotic+azurite jewel, a big LOL imo. Instead it give far more power, alot of power, plus it have offensive slot to add even more power. Technicaly this ascended stats are stil a ptv item but not in the way I need it
