Why is Arenanet trying to portray beer and drinking as something stereotypically nordic?

the only thing silly is you, in ancient times south of Europe grow grapes and made wine up to Italy and France, above this line is too cold for that so they make beer instead. Or better yet, south can make wine+beer, nord can make only beer :P

I might misunderstood but this is a great idea, if once a week for example Black Citadel will be invaded by ghost, an 30min event or something short timing, but very violent in attack. I know old maps are death maps in anet’s eyes but still a great ideea

I do think WvW needs a lot more help than introducing some EoTM like maps with buffs, automated turrets, lots of vertical siege and choke points that discourage actual fun fighting. But that’s a whole different issue that I don’t really have a solution for.
because “we want to take this in another direction” philosophy, so instead of creating an alternative, like ppl who enjoy open fights, they stay in open fights and ppl who enjoy verticality, they do that. But not with ANet, you play like this or find another game.

is one of those moments when ppl say anet is not playing www. Already from upper-mid T3, servers don’t have enough ppl to scout every tower or objective. During the day, map is empty except main keep. So when I see the devs saying you need to hold this and that, you gonna activate whatever gimmick… WITH WHO?

the most pro ppl I seen are war+thief party in eotm, bursting alone low lvls. This week seen them few times same two ppl. Once they got me and after they kill me I got a whisper “noob necro”
did not reply, but got me thinking how low two ppl can be to put in such effort to kill a low lvl, block him, copy his id, unblock him, whisper him “noob profession”?

I don’t know what it is but every time I play in blue corner a terribile sadness and depression fall over me. Don’t know what it is, maybe that is allways dusk/night, snowing, the lightning but after an hour I feel like looking at a bright white screen just to start the melatonin flowing from my brain again :P

There no real way of doing it its just a limitation of our tech. level the more spaces apart things the more lag.

In EOTM more ppl are flying above then ppl on the ground. Hackers are very common this days, yesterday I seen one, did not even care, not worth the hastle to record it, put it on youtube, open another browser, login, post a ticket and then… total ignorance from anet. Me to do all that work, just to be ignored? nahhh. I can be ignored without that too.
Plus the way I seen it work, a dev must be online and present at the spot to verify. Was a post few weeks ago where a dev said there is only 6 devs equipped with ban hammers, and they use it only after they verify in real time. Well I;m sorry, in case you dont have a personal dev at your disposal (I misplaced my) all your tickets, work and goodwill… will go to waste.

So far the only way to get this is from events, well I did few of this and collect only one ^^ At this rate I need few weeks to make one toxic sharpening stone. There is home nodes for watchwork sprocket (I got that), at least if anet bother to create a crafting base for this… make some viable way to get that basic materials. For white knights & fanboys: viable =/= months of event farming :P

about the frustrations of a PvE player being required to explore WvW for world completion
is amazing how a pve-er can grind for months a map or make same kitteny dungeon for a million time without any problem, mobs and bosses kill him every day. But throw a map where is a possibility to get killed by a player and OMG what a drama, frustrate much?

ppl use it to lvl characters or for karma. I wont say is a www map, is full of bridges and narrow paths, is not room to properly maneuver a www guild raid except few areas.

Mean while the kittens who upgrate everything and try to keep that server together is slitting his wrist 5 times a day because the minimal information for him is gone.

even if ppl think my builds are crap, I allways used accessory slots to fine tune this.
If calculated critical give x.123 I leave it as it is
If gives x.89… what ever, this mean 0.89 are wasted so I put a precision stone to jump over and gain a 1% crit
