season 1 was good, season 2 was kitten, season 3. I think I’ll just throw in the towel now. also the games feeling more and more clunky. I click skills that don’t happen, or I stop moving after using one, or get stick for no reason. It all just adds up to torture. never mind the MMR. Screen shot of my last game. it was a close game, that is not my problem, it’s the 2 emerald in my game……. it’s just a sick tormented joke.
what s the problem with emerald in your game?it s not like they are legendary.

Absolutely awe full. For me last season was miles better. Matchmaking is so beyond broken that it prevents good players from getting to Legendary and allows PvE players who have barely touched PvE to go straight to Legendary. I sincerely hope something changes.

I agree with this, i also think its way too long the season . Players get to legendary in 2-3 weeks.
Then what? Need to wait another 6 weeks for the rest of the players to reach it also ?

Not true, matches on NA between top 3 teams are closer than ever.
I would also agree that without the “prize pool” offered to the pro league players the amount of teams actually showing up to play would dramatically decrease, if not die completely. That being said I’m sure there would be other teams to take the places of those people that have left, but difference in the quality of teams would be very noticeable.
what teams?before this league garbage there were acutally teams playing esl,academy gaming etc,now we have pro league and that s all,the game it s already going down.

Well, scrapper will definitely need a look at once they nerf necro a bit, but right now, they’re not too much of an issue because they suffer so much against them and necros are everywhere.
good one ,scrapper have so much boon spam that necro corruption can t keep up with that.
This is skill that takes out around 40% of the hp bar, while CCing you in the process, but by the time you see the animation it’s already too late to react to it.
There needs to be at least half a second of a windup animation for this attack if the damage and CC is going to remain the same, either that or the damage/cc needs to be toned down on this skill.
And before anyone says you can counter it with stability, the rev is obviously going to use it when you have either no stability or only 1-2 stacks of stability since those would be stripped easily by the attack.
You add counterplay to Staff 5 after you add counter play to reaper insane condi pressure or scrapper sustain.
can you kitten off with reaper condi pressure when mesmer have 2x more condi pressure than reaper moa , 1 milion blocks, blink and portal?

I am in legend close to prestige 2 and today i didn t had more then 5-10 minutes que.
It is annoying when you break into a lords keep and they have one full gate to go before your lord but then they have 2 healers keeping their lord alive for so long your lord dies because you have no healer.
And how many people have either condi or crit build, a necro can go full dps build and still be an op tank
necro full dps and op tank..I am not sure what game you play.
few of them are not streaming that often or streaming other games,pvp will be dead soon.
Reached legend 5 days ago and i made a f2play account 1 day ago..i have no problems wining games at all atm i am close to ruby.
Played 2 days I managed to get in ruby tier 2.
I think i lost just 4-5 games and my best win streak was 15 games just soloque

Solo queue is fine as an option. There’s nothing wrong about solo queue, and we have the infrastructure to implement solo queue (again) at the drop of a hat.
The problem is that we don’t have the pvp population to support solo queue without severely hurting the queue times of all other queues. That’s it.
No one cares about team que,if you want to form a team you get another team and do skirmishes for practice .All ques togheter in a game where 80% of people want to play solo it s not the answer.
Can anyone explain to me why some reapers pick mercs over wanderers?
The difference in condi pressure is literally night and day. Shroud 4 dmg for example on my setup goes from 5500 to 8800 dmg.
With ènfeeble + the crit u gain from wanderers you literally have a 100% weakness uptime on ppl who train u. Which imo more than makes up for the hp loss.
So what build/setup would u use where mercs is more usefull.
I choose Wanderer because damage boost helps me against Revenants,Engineers,Rangers and Dh.
No one gives a kitten about forming a team since no one plays in tournaments..just pros in the pro league.
time to move to another game then.

I played one against 4 necro 1 teef our teams was 3 scrapper 1 druid 1 revenant,we won 500-70
Why does he just keep running straight into the middle of AoE condi spam? And why the hell does he do the same thing over and over again? Have you never played a condi thief before?
It’s like someone walk into a poison ivy bush, then doing it again…and again…and again…and then raging about it.
Wanna fight a condi thief? Don’t stand right next to him and let him drop his damage on top of you. Move.
Because he needs to l2 play like others who agree with that guy.
Ye ele was so fun to play before Diamond skin change sitting afk on points and spaming auras and heals.
the moments when you go all the time to avatar without any stability are mlg plays.
I think a balance patch a month is very hard to work with. It takes a while to let the meta settle down and then they need time to handle it appropriatly since every decision affects a lot of builds across all game modes. On top of that it creates an instability during the pvp seasons. I would prefer a “big” patch every end of the season and a very small patch at the beginning to tone down the truly OP.

Yes,but if they nerf anything regarded to necro damage they need to boost their defensive ablities.
Played few games today in any fights we destroyed every necro in less than 10 seconds.
5 seconds if we had teef on our team.
Also I don t understand this hate against necros, SCRAPPERS ARE OVERLORDS and no once complain about that.People were too much used too see a necro who can t do anything in a fight and die now they have to deal with new necro playstyle and instead of trying to find things that counter this they just make 100000 complains on forums.
And usually the ones who complain have close to 0 idea how to fight a necro and when to fight them.(this it s not your case here)
Also you main problem should be ele bad his mechanics and try to change that not to hit into other classes(reaper) atm.

You can do same video with Tempest diamond skin before Ds change.Sitting on point afk and spamming skills and heals.

Yes necro were in a bad position,if i remeber in the last pro league was just 2 necros.

One of the things this patch did was to buff the Reaper GM trait, Deathly Chill, despite the fact that no one believed it needed to be changed:
Reaper—Deathly Chill: Removed the 50% health threshold on this skill so that it now does the same damage at all times. Adjusted the damage ratio. Decreased the base damage from 40 to 10. Increased the level multiplier by 25%. Increased the condition damage multiplier by 87%.
This trait has been overtuned since Nov. 4, allowing Reapers to do consistent and prolonged condi damage (typically ticking between 600-1000) with zero ramp-up time, positioning constraints, or health threshold constraints. It is the archetype of a poorly designed trait that is contributing to the current power “creep” (really more of a landslide).
ANet: Want to take a very easy step in the right direction with balance? Revert the Nov. 4 Deathly Chill buff.
