There you go, fixed the issue.
Warrior still got some evades with GS #3, Sword #2 (even with doubled cd), bull’s charge, while not permacharging/jumping/whirling.

The Warhorn is one of the more usefull weapons of the ranger, yet it could be better.
So here are my suggestions:
Warhorn #4:
Applies additional blind per hit.
(OPTIONAL: could be also turned into an Explosion Finisher)
Warhorn #5:
Should give 3 stacks might. Durration should be 1/3 shorter, cooldown should be 1/2 shorter.

Muddy Terrain should be turned into a trap, as proposed before, but keeping its range (so no loss there). Alternatively, Muddy Terrain could be changed into multiple bear traps (like this: http://youtu.be/DGiRlGyuMkk?t=51s). This would allow to snare 1 enemy multiple times, if he steps on multiple traps, or snare as many enemies as you have bear traps. You could also add a new combofield, which would immobilize on explofinishers and cripple on leap/projectile finishers.

While the game is far from beeing dead, you can see the progressions in this game in three different ways:
Content-Progression (temporary): Huge progressions. The devs try to release every 2 weeks new content.
Content-Progression (permanent): Small progressions. 1 new PvE map, 1 new WvW map, some new PvP maps, 2 new healing skills, some new minigames. That’s it.
Gameplay-Progression: Nearly non-exsistant. Balancewise, this game is still terrible.

I like my characters having a reasonable lore friendly bio, that said Im stuck deciding between a Norn Engineer and an Asuran engineer ( It works xD). But how would a Norn go on as an engineer? Personally I’m happy with the warrior. Right now most of the traits feel powerful and pretty much all of the weapons are useful in some way.
I’d like it if weaker classes were buffed up to this level rather than having the warrior dragged back down into the abyss of “only one build works” that some other classes are stuck in.
I’m also happy with my warriors. But that neither means it’s balanced nor it’s fun to play against.
Ofcourse would it be great if all classes where same effective as the warrior is right now, but it would be simply too much. PvP would be almost only about oneshotting each other.

How is it a buff? Muddy Terrain is basically a trap with built-in Trapper’s Expertise PLUS 50% longer range.
You could trait it. Greater range and you could throw it down before a fight breaks out to get your cd’s back earlier.
Also, if you convert muddy terrain to a trap but keep the stats it has right now, you could buff the other traps to the same amount.

After reading most of your posts I have to say that I don’t like them that much.
I’m convinced that the devs hat a very clear concept for all the classes. While some turned out over- or underpowered, I think their vision of class balance is good as it is.
However you try to flip the whole gameplay around, creating a completely new balance.
This might happen in another game but I hope not in GW2.

I am sorry to say that most of the things you want are kinda unrealistic.
how so?
I work in the programming industry, never specifically game design, (yet) but i understand game development more then your average person,
i dont see how any of the things i listed are unrealistic.I specifically only added things that would be possible and not unrealisticly time consuming.
Different voice replacements wouldn’t be time consuming?
Nothing against this idea, it’s great but this would be the most time consuming and even the most expensive extension (hiring voice actors and stuff).

The shortbow is a weapon prioritized on kiting and susateined damage.
However the weapon got some PvP related hits.
So here are my suggestions:
Shortbow #1:
Bleeding should be always applied.
Damage should be reverted to the initial amount.
Shortbow #2-5:
I am fine with the skills but it would be nice if they would deal more damage than the autoattack.
Traitlines
“Eagle Eye” should also apply to the shortbow giving him 1200 range and +5% damage.

Why are there 20 warriors? Because it is effective.
Why are there so many guardians? Because AOE stability works wonders in zergs (but may be just fine in 5v5s).The fact there is such a thing as a hammer train suggests that the skill is OP. Comments of “well if you got hit by 20 of anything. . . .” Ok, when was it NOT a hammer train and say a 20 engineer grenade train? Or an Ele or Mesmer train?
Nope, it is always the hammer or warrior train because there is something very broken about the ability WHEN you have large numbers on each side.But asking for nerfs to the hammer is not going to fix that and will only hurt roaming hammer builds.
It is supposed to hurt roaming builds. I’ve no problem with beeing killed by a 20man hammertrain because I would be killed by all 20man trains. Certainly I have a problem beeing killed by a 2man hammertrain, since if you got hit once, you will never be able to escape again.
However this aplies to all CC heavy weapons. So ANet has to fix the endless stun/root issue for all classes. Furthermore it’s unbalanced that 2 hammerwarriors are as fast in killing you as 2 GSwarriors would be.

Please change all the skills that revolve around ‘kitten our pet’. At present time the GW2 Ranger is some kind of sadistic being who revels in animal cruelty for the sake of his own selfish needs. If anything we need changes to the skills that sacrifice/torment our pet.
Some quick suggestions:
- Shared Anquish – Change to “Incoming disabling conditions are transferred to your Foe instead.”
Alternate suggestion: “Incoming disabling conditions Entangle your Foe.”- Empathic Bond – Change to “Periodically cure conditions from you and your pet.”
- “Protect Me” – Change this to also grant Protection, Retaliation, Swiftness and Regeneration to the pet for the duration
- Signet of Renewal Active – Change to “Your pet cures conditions from nearby allies”
Some of these may sound potent (although they all fall in line with similar skills from other classes), but then again the Ranger has waited for over a year to get some more potency in my humble opinion.

Likewise, when activating “Search and Rescue”, your pet should also gain protection, regen, swiftness and retaliation. Furthermore the pet should AoE revive in a small area since the skill is bugged if your pet can’t get directly on top of your ally, which would put the skill on cooldown without doing anything.

If we assume Guardians as the baseline, than Warriors, Engineers, Necromancers, and Thieves are all mostly balanced. If we assume Rangers as the baseline, every class is wildly overpowered.

Also, there’s a thing to understand about the WvW raid meta: hammers ALWAYS will be the tool of choice for Warriors, even if damage is nerfed to 200 x hit. The other weapons just aren’t supportive enough for the team to replace the hammers, in the same way as staffs can’t be replaced in the loadout of any raid Guardian. Deal with it.
It’s no hammertrain. You need 2 people to lock someone down forever.
That’s stupid and that should be changed.

Isn’t the engineer considered OP in spvp?The thing that bugs me is that warrior was terribly UP. they got buffed and now they can compete vs the other OP classes (Mesmers, Thieves, Necros, Engineers). I can understand anyone playing UP classes to want some balance but all I have been seeing over the past 2 months is OMG WARRIOR OP PLZ NERF threads and hardly any threads calling for nerfs(rebalancing) to other classes (except Thief Stealth). Now the geniuses at Anet will look at that and say OMG SO MANY QQ AGAINST WARRIOR NERF IT and warriors are back to being terribly UP while the other OP classes (builds) keep getting free kills from everyone. If you take a look at the big picture, warrior is not terribly OP, it’s just as OP as every other OP class (build) out there. Hence it is balanced in an OP meta.
Isn’t the Spirit Ranger also terribly OP in PvP?
Like I said before. I don’t have any problem with the builddiversity of the warrior.
But if he has all those aspects in one build it should be limited.
The hammer is a great example. Guardian hammer offers much CC and boons to your teammates. Yet it deals low damage, so you probably wont use it in a solo raoming build.
So why is the warrior hammer, which offers even more CC, capable of killing enemies on it’s own?

Let Rapid fire do all its damage at once? Well, okay. Lets make Hundred Blades, Unload, Arc Lightning, etc. do all their damage at once as well. Why not? Rangers are suddenly allowed to do it! Warriors, Elementalist, Thieves, Engineers, etc. want to do it too!
If Rapid Fire would be a channeling skill with 1 attack, it would function like the warrior rifle. It’s already in the game. On the other hand there would be some drawbacks to it as well. You just need to dodge 1 skill which would be highly telegraphed.

No, no, no and no. The only class wha can stunlock you forever is the hammer warrior.
Hammer stuns are fine as is, without them… There is no reason to even use a hammer on war. A nerf to the damage on the stun is awful too. 2 sec stun nets you roughly 2 AA attacks at that rate with a hammer. And both of the stun/knockdown skills have obvious animations. Learn them, then dodge them. The knock back skill is fine as is.
You’re crying about loosing either damage or CC capabilities will kill the hammer.
Yust look at guardian hammer. Great CC capabilities aswell but rather low damageoutput. Yet there is noone claiming that the hammer is useless.
Face it, you can’t have both. GS, Axe both are great damage weapons. Both just offer soft CC. Mace on the other hand has 3 different forms of CC but low damage. Those weapons are balanced. The hammer is not balanced.i believe hammer is balance since nerf i’m full zerker build and my hammer deals 2.5k unless you want to nerf it more like 1.5k well i don’t care as long anet will hasten the cast time or we will have like 3s stun on Earthshaker and 3s KD on backbreaker and make staggering blow like whirlwind just for clarification im not a power creep maybe they can put the hammer damage into traits like 95% more damage if you are using a full zerker gear and -95% if not something like that so everybody is happy because it’s really unfair for those spec for damage but when people see them dealing huge numbers they will come here and ask for nerf even the guy who killed them is spec for glass cannon.

Hammer are good for those who doesn’t expect or familiar with the animation in 1vs1 but saying hammer nerf because of ah hammer train warriors that’s plain stupid because your expecting to survive against a zerg and hammer is a good support weapon but I don’t use it because too many players already familiar with the animation. I use the most Op 100 blade because at that moment I know if I killed them and qq about 100b they are noobs

You don’t have to nerf the damage, you don’t have to nerf the cooldowns, you don’t have to remove traits. Just add the little “feature”: Enemies who are already stunned can’t be stunned as long as the prior stun persists.

Keg Brawl isn’t unplayable due to the afk’ers but due the tremendous bugs.
A few examples I run in over and over again:
- Someone gets knocked down but still manages to throw the keg
- People you can intercept you by simply running behind you if you try to throw the barrel
- If you try to evade while you’re knocked down you will evade immediately after your character got back up
- If you charge after a player (skill #4 without keg) your character stops for half a second in front of the enemy giving him time to evade
- Exaggerated hitboxes even for norn when using skill #2 without keg

This attack is ok but it would be nice if you could cast it while running.
Another nice idea is that you can cast barrage without groundtargeting, so you can shoot it over walls in WvW.LBskill 5: you’re thinking of a very WvW orientated change here, I like this skill to be graundtargeting. Casting the skill while moving would be the perfection but I think reducing the cast time from 2 ¾ to 2 or 1¾ sec would be enough as well.
I didn’t meant to remove the groundtargeting but adding the possibility to use this skill without groundtargeting.
As example: If you hold your right mousebutton, your character will face and shoot in the direction your camera is facing. So if your looking in a 45° angle upwards, your barrage will go down at the maximum range. If you looking straight up, you will cast barrage upon you.
