Are you talking about the first batch of spiders after the giant wurm? The trick there is to kill the spiders one batch at a time. Don’t rush inside if you don’t want all the groups of spiders to spawn at once.

Well, you can play safe by throwing nades from the backline and do decent amount of AoE damage and conditions. But if you like to be involved in the heat, like with the warrs and guards in the front line, bomb kit and rocket boots are your friends.

Well, 4v5 is better than 5v5 with a rank 1 on your team -_-

What’s up with the plan of having a bracket system in which you will only be teamed up and fight against players of the same bracket?

I chose engineer because I always tend to root for the underdogs.

How much damage is being reduced with retaliation? I’m pretty sure it’s not 100% damage reduction ’cause I can be HB to downed state to death even if I have this boon.

Retaliation does not prevent or reflect damage, it just punishes someone for attacking you, by dealing an amount of damage based on your power (I think) back to them. You still take the hit.

Rangers have the same trait as an Adept Minor trait. They spend 5 points and get it without having to choose it, we spend 30 and have to blow a Grandmaster on it.

It’s little things like that, that make it seem like they ran short of ideas when it came to us.

amidst its imperfections.
Anyways, I was just wondering if we have an all-Engineer guild around here.
If so, can I ask for an invite?
If not, can we make one?

Then maybe we can make a competitive team for tpvp too.

Aside from doing hearts, I suggest to do vistas and discover points of interests on your starting map. While running around the map doing these, gather what you can find on your way. (So you have to equip all gathering tools.)

What about Construction Kit?

1. Rapid Nail Gun – Inflicts bleeding. Every nail stays for 5 seconds.
2. Throw Cement Powder. Inflicts blindness in the area. (New combo field: Cement. Works well with water skills)
3. Drop Hard Helmets – Grants Aegis to surrounding allies.
4. Drink Gatorade – Removes 2 conditions and refills endurance.
5. Hammer Smash. – The more nails are stacked from auto-attack, the more you’re screwed. No pun intended.

Though I am not a fan of this profession, I would suggest to roll a warrior on your 1st toon.
Most demanded profession overall in pve.
You won’t be having trouble looking for a group when doing dungeons etc.

Since their plans for FotM & some activities (Crab Toss etc.) cancel each other (or do they?), who will you support?

Gnashblade for cheaper BL keys or;
Kiel for cheaper waypoints

That’s exactly one of my concerns with this skill.
Yes, there are times when it closes the gap as intended, but most of the time it just won’t.
Making you look stupid when you pop prybar while they are still a few feet away. :/

I just thought what if Magnet had a stun effect for 1-2 sec (Ok, fine. “3 seconds”),
and would pull the guy exactly right next to your nose, (not just tripping them over a few distance away from where they were standing)
so I can prybar him into the face before he could even realize what was happening
and decide to dodge/invul/invi?

Then with my remaining 2 seconds (Ok, fine. “remaining 3 seconds ’cause of sigil of paralyzation”)
I’ll shower him with some nades, wrench and surprise shot while proccing SD.
