Summer loving had me a blast
For me, I think it is because it’s a race to only 500 points, and you can get points almost everywhere, so you have to act fast.
It’s like you’ve been asked by your boss to do a task by the end of the day, at the last hour, and if you didn’t make it on time, you’re fired.
In a short span of time, there’s no room for mistakes, cause even a little hiccup will cause a lot of harm to your team. The chances of a comeback is very low, though possible, but still low. So everyone should be focused and expected to play flawlessly.
When someone makes mistake, you can’t just say, "Oh, you did that? Silly you! It should be like this. But, it’s ok, don’t worry. Just don’t do it again, alright? Have a great day! " But instead, one makes a roll call of slurs, or will have a mini heart attack, or both.
SO DON’T SCREW UP IF YOU’RE PLAYING WITH ME OR I’LL KILL YOU’RE WHOLE FAMILY.

I think in-game build draft would be a nice mode, wherein:
1. Traits are picked in-game
– No profession-specific traits
– Select from a pool of random traits (not all traits are available)
2. Stat points are allotted in-game
– Only basic stats can be upgraded
3. Skills are picked in-game
– Each skill has a corresponding Fn skill
– Select from a pool of random skills (not all skills are available)
4. There is only 1 stock available for each jewel
– 10 jewels, 1 stock each, pick fast or qq
5. There is only 1 stock available for each amulet
– 10 amulets, 1 stock each, pick fast or rage q
6. There is only 1 stock available for each sigil
7. There are only 6 stocks available for each rune
8. Bring your own weapon
-Weapon skills are still dependent on your profession
9. Hobosacks can be toggled to show or destroy with fire
So in this mode, it takes approximately 42 hours before everyone can finish drafting their builds, for a game that will last for 5 minutes \m/

I believe Fast Acting Elixirs doesn’t affect Toolbelt skills (TS).
Only way to increase TS recharge rate is to go way deep in the Tools trait line.
Nah what’d be REALLY cool is if the person who gets the killing blow got a “Rally” buff and it allowed them to tag-instant rally a friendly member, so then people could clobber the rally-guy to prevent him from rallying his friend. Talk about fun/interesting playing THEN!
Since this Rally Buff would be surely exploited by indestructible warriors, how about giving the person with the Rally buff some negative buffs, just like holding an Orb in Spirit Watch. But of course with the additional immunity to being immune, to be able to block and all. So basically, make that person vulnerable to anything.
In order for this Rally buff to be useful, teammates should protect that guy from being ganked by the opposite team, so that he can res other guys. Also, because killing makes you vulnerable, DPS spammers now have to kill wisely.

I dont want to wait forever to start the game – at least if theres a timer on it people wont go buy their groceries while waiting for q pop.

Runes of lyssa now work properly on all elites
Engineer:
Bomb Kit – Bomb: Base radius increased from 120 to 180. Radius when traited with Forceful Explosives is increased to 240.
Bomb Kit – Fire Bomb: Base radius increased from 120 to 180. Radius when traited with Forceful Explosives is increased to 240.
Bomb Kit – Glue Bomb: Radius when traited with Forceful Explosives decreased from 360 to 300.
Kit Refinement – Magnetic Bomb: Radius when traited with Forceful Explosives decreased from 360 to 300.
Self-Regulating Defenses: This trait now functions with Fast-Acting Elixirs.
Hidden Flask: This trait now functions with Fast-Acting Elixirs.

Toss Elixir S: This ability now only grants stealth. Base duration of stealth increased to 5 seconds.
Toss Elixir B: This ability now grants stability to allies, in addition to a random boon. Base recharge increased to 30 seconds.
Elixir H: Normalized protection duration from 7 seconds to 6 when traited with Potent Elixirs.
Mine Field: Base explosion radius increased from 120 to 180.
Reserve Mines: Base explosion radius increased from 120 to 180.
Throw Napalm: This skill now leaves a fire field behind for 3 seconds when it lands that burns enemies for 1 second every second. Burning duration of Throw Napalm on impact reduced to 4 seconds from 5.
Rifle Turret – Automatic Fire: Bleeding has been removed. This ability now applies 8 seconds of vulnerability each hit.
Overall it’s a medium/strong buff for me

My suggestion: Upon picking up the orb, replace everyone’s HP and toughness with a flat value, remove all traits, and replace all their skills with something like an attack, a short leap, an evade, and a heal. IE: normalize the orb carrier’s ability, so that some classes (ranger and warrior) aren’t blatantly better at it.

I liked the personal story and the gameplay of the warrior so much that he ended up being my main character for quite some time. I experimented with builds, from the atypical Greatsword to the mighty Hammer, I tried them all and soon found myself playing with the Axe/Mace. And so began the downfall of my favourite character.Every fight that I’d enter was something like this –

Because i made a very civil thread to gather information and you disagree with it so you need to make your opinion known because you crave for attention. Now please i am asking you nicely stop posting in this thread if you do not want to contribute to the sample.
The question is still loaded. Anet devs themselves have repeatedly said they’re not happy with where the game is right now and will never be, they will always keep working to improve it, because no game is perfect.
So like I said, even anet devs would answer nes, so your average forum whiner is going to be a resounding no.

Sure, but then would you see it? And if there is a different effect for each sigil (or rune set), then don’t you need to make them more distinct than just a slight green weapon glow so you can tell them apart?

The effect should CHANGE the weapon’s actual melee trail. You know when you swing your weapon and you get that boring white trail? Say you had a sigil like this, you added it, and now the trail is different! You didn’t add any new effects to the game, just made one look cooler.
It should make the melee trail purple/red or a leeching type effect. It should not be a particle effect but a .swh? (Is that whakittens called.) that way it just replaces an effect already there.
So you still have time to observe a weapon’s trail before you realize that OMGWTF is that an 8 sec stun or just a normal 7 sec one? skill is coming at you?
Then realizing it was just an auto-attack.
But you used your only stun breaker.
I prefer “Yo” than “Nes”.

Remember when going into the mist, when you click the crossed swords, and hit the “Go to HoTM” button?
When in HoTM, that same button changes to “Leave the Mist” button, and clicking it will return you to where you left off in PvE before going into the mist.

5 people akitteng on close grinding their Best Defender. 5 people rushing treb just to grind best Trebber. 5 guys chasing down 1 going for skirmisher. And it would be all about time invested and totally hotjoin like.
Then teams with that kind of thinking suffer. There’s no way they’re gonna win with that kind of attitude.
Everyone’s going to treb with no one capping? Ignoring orbs to wait for that chance to stomp a downed enemy? A thief competing with a guard for that best defender title? I can’t take that kind of mentality. Can you?
As I said, these are just additional leaderboards. At the end of the match, what matters most is the “best player” LB, which is dependent on your wins, which you won’t be getting any if your team’s all zerging around mindlessly.
And you’re worried that “it would be all about time invested”? So you prefer those people who are sitting at the top 10 in LB with an 11-0 record, who might just recently played in PvP, and might as well return to PvE ‘cause there’s no way they’re going down anytime soon?

Good thing about this technique is that you can do this while running ’cause the origin of the blast finisher from detonating any turret is your character itself.
Edit: I meant Regenerating Mist (HT’s toolbelt skill) rather than Healing Mist (EG’s).

Obviously. I shouldn’t have to click leave the mists after every match though. It should put me in the same place in the world I queued from, just like pretty much every other game that lets you queue from anywhere.

When you overcharge your rocket turret, and the turret’s target leaps, the rocket goes straight toward the sky like an idiot. If it could only bring the moon with it IF it lands and deal bajillion damage in the map then why not. >.>
