so..
i played a pvp game today, and i DC’d. i had to completely restart the game because it crashed entirely.
yet i still managed to get back into my game and despite me being away for a minute, we actually still won. Cool right?
but why did i still lose a pip, and why did i still get 10 minutes of dishonor.
to me that just feels like punishment for actually trying me best to get back into the game.
is their really no way to recegnoze true DC’s, instead of calling every DC a ragequit?
i mean it’s not my fault that my client crashed…right?

Hello! this is important so please read trough this.
I’m Duskwalker, one of the Leaders of Divine Knights of Balthazar [DKB].
we are a bit in a crisis now. long story short, we had to kick one of our officers from the guild because he was making serious threats to us about talking kitten about people, spreading hate in the guild etc…. because they had a fight. and he was not happy with how it was resolved.
we tried to talk to him ‘till late at night, to calm him down. we were calm and compassionate, but he would not understand/accept it.
so it’s understandable that we kicked him right?
well now he threatened us again, saying he will spread hate towards the entire guild. talking kitten about us and ruining our reputation in any way that he can. we take that threat seriously.
out of respect for that person, (and because i don’t want to ruin his reputation outside DKB), i’m not going to tell his name, but please, if you see someone seriousy talking kitten about the Divine Knights of Batlthazar [DKB]. please don’t just believe him blindly.
I thank you in the name of our entire Guild.
(sorry for eventual typos though).

hello there
i’ve been using this druid build for a while now and i quite like it.
i haven’t seen any other druids running something similar though, so i’m doubting if this is viable in ranked pvp.
any feedback please?
constructive criticism is much apreciated
just plain negativity is NOT appreciated.
thank you very much ^^
a little bump wouldn’t hurt here xD
guys
i might be VERY late with this… but has anyone noticed that glyphs actually leave a ligh-combo field?
i’ve tested it by dropping a glyph and imeadiately drop ancestral grace or call of the wid on the same location….and guess what: i get AOE retalliation…
was this intened? am i really late on this? i wonder…
our guild website was a little outdated, but is now fully up-to-date again. feel free to take a look.
oh and if you’re a member of DKB, please register on the website AND to our clan on the website.

i use cosmic ray more for myself since i can predict my own pathing… i use seed of life seldom.
for the seed i would suggest this: whenever the seed is spawned, it spreads pollen in its radius to do the same effect it has now, but instantly. the pollen dissapears when the seed explode.
lunar impact and the #4 skill are perfect as they are imo.
i hardly ever use the #5 skill, excep for when i’m really confident that we’re winning the fight.
AND We got our pvp arena today!!
I DO HAVE TO SAY i haven’t tried DH myself and i’m not all-knowing nor a top tier player….
so please correct me if i’m wrong.
so almost all DH are really scared that DH will get trown into a bad position when they get nerfs..and i understand that fear…
but cmon, let’s be honest…its just unplayable vs dragonhunter in pvp. i’m not gonna trow the entire argument again because alot of ppl have already done so, but it IS a fact that if you, as a light/medium armored profession, fall into the elite trap…you are dead 90% of the time.
the combination of traps (on a way too low cooldown) is just too strong.
and yes… you DH are now gonna shout: LEARN TO DODGE, or GET STUNBREAKS OR STABILITY.
well… i have 2 dodges… i need to waste 1 on the initial trap burst… then 1 on the second trap burst… how many dodges do i have left? 0. and then the DH didn’t even attack me yet, he just laid down some traps.
that being said… traps are invisible guys… if the traps are already there when you engage, you’ll have to rely on luck to dodge the trap since you don’t know where they are. (agreed you CAN see the DH lay down his second load of traps, but by then you’ll propably already have lost 50% or more of your health.
most stunbreaks don’t even work on the elite trap… you get knocked down, you stunbreak but when you try to move you get knocked down again.. that’s how it is.
and yes you can counter the elite trap with stability… but not all classes have an equal amount of acces to stability. and you’ll have to use up your stability at the start of the fight, eaving you vulnerably for other cc.
hello
i’m relatvely new to mesmer… been playing often though, but not really my main.
would anyone know what gear i could use for chronomancer in HoT / raids?
i love enough damage, but i don’t wanna be 1-shotted by mordrem…
been trouble finding something that would suit me… any ideas?
thank you very much
bump to top again
If you want to stick with hybrid, that’s fair enough, but in that case, if this is for raids and other instanced PvE content, remember that bosses don’t get CCd often at all. Therefor, your Druid Grandmaster is wasted. In the hybrid spirit: support/condi, I would choose the increased damage output for players you heal in celestial avatar form. That would justify keeping the staff, and how supporting you are because it would be a bigger dps increase than the dps loss from you being part support.
In the same optic, you won’t be getting slowed too much in those environments so reduced movement impairing effects is not all that good, even more so when you know what you’re missing out on support-wise by taking reduced recharge on glyphs and Glyph of Empowerment which you could then chain with your Celestial Avatar form doing one before entering and one on exiting, since it’ll almost be off cd, which means that you create a huge burst window for your team, and you dish out a bit more healing which in turns generates a bit more CA force. You should probably keep both your traps, and trade your Quickening zephyr for it since it’s a bigger buff in dps overall for your group to have that rather than you applying a bit more dots for 6s.My view on the druid after several hours of fractal farm as dps, then hybrid, then full support, is that the druid is largely underestimated because most of the feedback we see is from people who haven’t finished getting all of their traits and skills yet. Yes, it has some very poor elements to it (try being a druid healer underwater… You don’t have your staff there, and regen doesn’t give CA force, plus once you enter CA the ground targeted abilities are really difficult to use…) and doesn’t synergies very well with previous ranger options, but it is what it is, and we’ll have to make the best out of it. What it excels at this far is creating burst windows for the group, and that no matter what kind of build you play as long as you take that glyph of empowerment and the damage increase from healing in CA, but it is also a really good healer once you get a hang of it. The staff isn’t as bad as one would think, but here is not the place to talk about why, I’ll just say that if you play it right, and other players stop trying to get behind you when you’re trying to get behind them because you can only heal them that way, you can keep your team alive, and you’ll have really good access to Celestial Avatar.
So regarding your build this is what I would do to stay in the hybrid optic: http://gw2skills.net/editor/?vNEQNAW3fnMqAlrgtrA2sCUtgFGBDupWVzqNjraVIgpAc5CAnssHBB-TBiAABfcBACc/BAOIAlp8jU1fk+BAErSQOOCAAA-e
Please note that the GM traits on this site are not up to date, the first one gives increased damage output of 3% per stack, stacks up to 5 times, lasts 8s, for every ally (and yourself) when you heal them in celestial avatar. The second is a 3s cd "when you heal an ally their next attack heals them for x and blinds their target for 4s (lasts 6s), and the last one is up to date.
If you have any further questions, just ask
thank you for this amazing feedback!! i’ll look into it right now

what if they just changed the name from ‘spear’ to ‘harpoon’ and then make an entire new weapon: the spear, for terrestial combat?
they would not have to fix anymations for the underwater weapon, they would only have to make an entirely new weapon class.
ofcourse then you have the problem that you have to design skills and traits for multiple professions and since all professions only get one new weapon….
(just an idea for in the future maybe?)
my solutions:
1) make doors harder to break. maybe let it require at least 3 or 4 doorbreakers to break it down.
2) add a healing skill to the lord. or maybe let the lord get back to full health when out of combat. it will be more difficult to kill the enemy lord, resulting in more time to counterattack.
3) make guards damageable only by archers and treb.
4) increase timer so the chances of ending a mach trough timer will be decreased. OR add some kind of ‘Last battle stage’ mechnic. (example: lord joins the fight; no more respawns; double damage; etc etc etc….
these are just some solutions i could think of while playing a couple of games. i’m no expert on that level
i really like clones and phantasms…so i’d like either a shatter build or a build focused on phantasm/clones… can you guys help me out with the traits?
i’m level 66 right now…. 4/4/0/0/0
i don’t quite know what traits to pick tho…
i don’t mind taking a little longer to level….i wanna get used to the weapons i’ll use at lvl 80 that will propably sword torch…. but ’ill try out sword/sword as well xD
hello
so i’m levelling my mesmer and i’m having a REALLY hard time trying to figure out which build i should use… can you guys help me out?
i prefer something with GS + Sword/torch
i hate mantras
it is mainly for pve/dungeons..
i’m kinda desperate xD
thanks for the reaply. this was really helpfull.
hi
i’m completely new to playing a warrior (played ranger and thief before).
i hardly ever see a warrior without greatsword… but i don’t really like greatsword on warrior, so i’m thinking what weapon combination i could use without greatsword.
i’ve been thinking about a axe/sword or axe/mace as main set, with a longbow as utility…
my questions are: is a build without GS viable?
which is more viable in regular pve/dungeons/bosses: axe/axe, axe/sword or axe/mace?
is a longbow a MUST HAVE in pve/dungeons/bosses? or can i chose not to have one without losing to much effectivity in my build?
I find it really difficult to dye my armor…
i would really appreciate any feedback on how i look, and how it could look any better.
i’m also not sure on what weapon skins i should use (LB and GS). any advice on that would be cool too.
thanks…
so… i’m new to thief…
anyone can help me with what is best to run in pve?
i’m thinking about either s/d or d/d…
what should i use for levelling? and on lvl 80?
and the most important question…. what traits should i use?
i’m not really good with trait distribution… ^^""
thanks for the help
