I keep getting this too.
EotM supply drops in one’s home borderland citadel should have an intrinsic +5 buff. This will increase both the appeal of winning EotM matches and of using the supply it rewards. Currently, many players would sooner take supply from an upgrading +5 keep that needs it.
Greetings. I’m an experienced WvW player with most character classes looking for a fair-sized WvW-focused guild (~50+ members) with no rep% requirement and nonmandatory raid times. I’m willing to switch servers. Please message me if you have or know of one. Thanks in advance.

you might want to post here on the recruitment forum
I refrained from posting there because I’m not advertising a guild nor looking to join one.
Shouldn’t you be asking this on tarnished coast forums?
Yea, maybe. I forgot it existed.
Hello, onlookers. I’ve been in a few WvW-focused guilds on TC and have researched many others. Thus far, I’ve yet to discover one that does not have one or more requirements regarding things like guild representation, presence during raids, character classes, builds, etc.
I have two questions: Firstly, does anyone know of a TC-based guild that is relaxed on these issues and secondly, if none exist, would any of you avid WvWers be interested in joining one?
But having allies around would hasten the process of completing events. If it were implemented well, the benefits of having allies around would be commensurate with the benefits of receiving greater rewards with fewer allies.
The goal would that everybody actively playing on the map would be receiving roughly the same rewards. Whether it’s achieved or not would depend on how well something like this were implemented.
Another suggestion, to create an incentive for tower sentries, would be to have that protection event (the one that normally happens when a structure is attacked) repeat continuously, even when the structure hasn’t been attacked. The only difference being that waypoints wouldn’t be contested unless it were under attack, so I guess it would be a slightly different event, but an event nonetheless. Call the event “Guard the tower/keep”.

WXP gain (and other rewards) for killing players and completing events in WvW should be inversely proportional to how many allies are around you at the time. That way roamers would be more rewarded for their efforts. People who prefer to zerg still earn their share of rewards because they kill people and complete events more frequently.
I want to suggest an update to the current resource node system. Take mineral nodes for example. Right now, when you mine a mineral node the animation is divided into 3 pulses and you get minerals on every pulse (usually one but possibly bonus minerals depending on your pick quality). Then there’s a chance you’ll be able to mine the node again for an extra pulse (even though the animation lasts 3 pulses again and you have to cut it short). That means that—often times— you’ll have to interact with the same node twice to mine all its minerals. This becomes worse when mining a rich node because you have to interact with it 3 times or more! This system, though it works, is unnecessarily tedious and just inelegant.
A much better system would be if the animation were a fixed length, as it currently is, and you only had to interact with each node once. Instead of various buffs (like the guild harvesting buff, WvW harvesting buff, etc) giving you a chance at an extra pulse after you’ve already harvested a node, they would instead offer a chance at giving extra minerals during one of the initial pulses. Also, instead of having to interact with rich nodes a few times, they would last only 3 pulses but would award 3 times the minerals of a regular node at each pulse. That way, you would only have to interact with each harvesting node once and the harvesting animation would always last until the node was empty.
What do you guys think?
That looks great. Now design us a decent staff!
And for life force try this,

I think it would be great to have this option just when you’re running around maps in PvE. This game has stunning landscapes and it’s a shame we can’t fully appreciate them right now with the limitations the camera angle has.
Simply avoid being hit and you will not have this issue.
The slow-down only applies if you are actually hit after all.
Not true; it applies if you hit an enemy as well, which makes no sense.
To me, an acceptable alternative to removing it completely would be this… The combat slow-down is only applied if an enemy hits you, NOT when you hit an enemy, and is removed 10 seconds after you’ve been hit. It makes more sense for it to be timer-based than proximity-based.
This will also improve the flee/chase scenario, as the person chasing will have the upper hand, as long as they are hitting their foe. The one fleeing could attempt to counter this by dropping CCs or AOE attacks to slow down the person chasing them.

We should be able to salvage ascended trinkets.
The Problem: Those who run fractals regularly accumulate several ascended rings, which are essentially useless, as they cannot be sold on the trade post or salvaged. Their only function is to invoke a mocking sense of futility as they take up more and more valuable bank space, or to be sold to an NPC merchant in exchange for 5 silver, which is a travesty and an injustice.
The Solution: Ascended trinkets can be salvaged into 0-3 ectos, 15-30 fractal relics, with a chance of a pristine relic and the infusion (if it’s been infused), depending on the salvage kit used.

The point is that having precursors cost 700g+ goes against the standards that this game was made by. GW2 was advertised as an alternative to the stale mob grinding MMOs of the past and a player should not be forced to grind cash for weeks in order to afford a legendary.
Here are some possible solutions:
1. Increase the drop rate and/or forge rate on precursors.
2. Develop the scavenger hunt that was talked about previously.
3. Introduce a lot more legendaries and precursors. (The current skins kinda suck anyway, but that’s another issue.)
Please please please. It’d be nice to be able to salvage an ascended trinket to get the infusion back too.
This is a great idea, I wish I thought of it. All that would need to be done is to add a prompt to join an overflow server (or “underflow server”) if the map you’re in is fairly empty. It could be a player choice, similar to how you’re given the option to leave an overflow server when space opens up on your server.
I hereby agree. The fact that dyes are character-bound deters me from buying any.
I’ve been hoping for a system like this for a long time, but you raise an interesting solution. The trait NPCs can operate solely to sell a trait template. You would then buy one for, say, 10g, and then you can save another trait build to a template. Then you can switch between saved templates on the fly.
I’ve wanted something like this since launch and I’m kind of surprised it hasn’t been done yet, especially since it was a GW1 feature.

I received a different kind of email from “ArenaNet” that I suspect to be a phishing scam. This one stated only that my login patterns had changed and that, as a result, they locked my account and I was to follow a link to verify ownership and change my password. The layout and grammar/syntax were extremely convincing, the only give-away was that the link they posted seemed to direct to a slightly different url than what was written in text, and that contrary to what was stated, I was actually still able to login with my current password. I’ll copy the email below:
Greetings!

Found a fix: switching to an alt and getting the candle in zone 2 instead of zone 3.
I’ve completed all SAB achievements except for Minor in Enhancement, which seems to be bugged at 6/7. I’ve collected the slingshot, bomb, whip, candle, shovel, extra heart, moto’s breath and the pouch on two different characters and the achievement will not max.
Is there a fix?
