They had this kitten approach every time.
Some players abuse some instance or spot, event whatever for some LOOOONG time then here comes Anet and fks everybody because that aint good anymore.
I still dont get it how the kitten do u remove dungeons out of the big picture so eazy.

They said the reward nerf was a good thing for gw2 economy. We dont play them anymore because nobody wants 20 silver for a run, u can get way more running with the ‘trains’ spamming 1111.
But the content is there, they could do some daily rewards for it or something to make them worthy.
Leaving them behind like this wont make a good case for a mmo company like Anet or any other.
Imagine how a guy that wants to start playing gw2 now, asks around about why there is no party for dungeons in the lfg and all u can tell them is “reward nerf, move on do something else”.

I think we all understand that HoT is new and needs some dev love atm, that this is a business after all and Anet wants/needs bit more players to use their CC but LEAVING DUNGEON PLAIN DEAD CANT BE GOOD, even more when a good part of your player base used to run them daily for various reasons.

400hp just to get the herald on the new rev.
Now what about the other 8 classes i have. Does Anet really think we are all kittened ?
Do they want us to play a main more than we did before ? Do they want this content to last for another 3 4 years just with these mushrooms and layers ?

pug arah 124 for around 1 hour u get 10 gold; or w/e dungeon with even less gold
run around and kill ambients for 1 hour u get like 30 gold

I had games vs 3 guards. 25 stacks of burning in like 1 second, cant even heal or hit the condi removal . Insta down, its all good, working as indended.
Even more try some games vs 2 bunkers on condi (warr and necro) Gl killing them and take the points.

Good thing that most ppl want to see some numbers and they go power builds, else the pvp in gw would be full of this kitten condi bunkers. cele ele v2

Conditions in general need a nerf. There is no way u can remove condi at the same rate they are applied. And u cant make that happen, that would make condi builds useless.
But then again u need to boost 1 stat for condi and 3 for power builds.

Something has to be done. Aint fun running around after a headless chicken thats full hp all the time and spams conditions.

Air: VI VII
Earth: 0
Water: VI
Arcana: V

The build, yes its something around that from your link as u can see…. its like an adjustment for ur open world pve or quests/ story line etc.
Arcane Brilliance and arcane wave for 2 blaster to boost might or heal urself in the water fields.
Conjure bow for more dps, just 4 and move on + the other utility skill just get what u need : air signet move faster , fire signet some extra crit chance, arcane shield more defensive, glyp for some extra dps or utility.

Gear like i’ve said its full zerk- armor weps trinkets with scholar runes.

Just so u see how it worked for me … i dont play ele that much, was my first charr, moved to warr mesmer guard etc and have all classes by now so i cant say i main an ele but he aint that hard to play.
After i’ve done almost all achievments from LS2 in like 1 week ( i hate achievments havent done any LS2 until now) on my mesmer, ive needed to farm some bandit crests + mordrem parts and the carapace armor, so ele with all that aoe damage was the char to go for farm in SW and to repeat story for those extra armors u get from story. Atm i need just 1 carapace boot, as u need to farm crests for them, and im done with LS2 in 1 week.

As for soloing, yes it was all solo tho i have my gf who can help me but that wasnt needed (she did tell me the steps to finish faster but i didnt need her to tank for me :P), there are npcs with u in the story so they take some hits for u sometimes.
U dont need to main the class to blitz the LS episodes and the SW farm. Yes i died a few times but who cares … just respawn and move on finish fast get back to the dungeon farm :P or w/e u like.

Im not a special breed of ele, i dont solo stuff with it like i do with other classes, im kinda rusty on it, short story im not the best ele out there so if ive done it, lots of other ppl can do it, including u.
Just look a bit for the encounters (dulfy ftw) and learn few combos that keep u alive and thats it, rest its fast dps baby :P

And if that doesnt help u, if ur EU u can add me ingame and i can help u with some of it.

I just had to run some LS quests for the carapace armor and ele works just fine.
I’ve used the dungeon build just remove 2 trait points to make staff aoe larger
6/4/0/2/2 full zerk scholar runes and mobs just melt

U kids these days. Just hit the console button add the code for the item u want and thats it.
U can have all u want after your 1 year break, in just 20 seconds, then u are bored again.

If that doesnt work hit Shift+Del on the gw2 folder and take another break.

Dude pls wakeup , no1 is going to ban ppl for using a macro that does double click on some stacks.
I dont use it on somthing else and to be honest i cant see it beeing good for anything else.
U have to point start wait (do nothing with mouse or kb) stop then resume your gameplay. And the macro is “click – wait 10ms – click” autorepeat on.

Wtf who will ban u for something like that. Id quit the game if i hear gm’s ban ppl for such things.
Its not like u made a “real” macro clicking on skills, using some “special” commands or using picture/icons in the game to auto start and kitten.

Im an ex pro counter strike player, i’m used to changing expensive mouses just cause click1 died. But i’ve kept changing them cause the game was nice/ team play/ andrenaline rush whatever and very mouse dependant.
Im not going to damage my mouse now to burn 1 mil karma or for those luck stacks that get me 1% account luck after 1 week LOL

PS: i’m using this for 1 year now and btw dont expect admins to come here on forums and encourage using macros, because we know how ppl are and soon wont be only the double click macro they will use.
So yea we wont see any Anet cming here to aprove stuff like this.

Get Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Center and configure a macro for auto clicks, its quite simple.
Dunno if it works with non Microsoft keyboards but u can try. If it doesnt, a cheap M keyboard with some multimedia buttons that u can macro on its like 10$ or even less.
Point on your stacks/ buy button etc, press the macro button …. Voila so fast

Rifle warrs and staff mesmer . MUAHAHAHAHa

Get a bow mate. Same dps if not better, fire field, blaster, immobilize, blind. A party weapon. Go blast ur rifle in the open world.
Not to mention most of the above range lovers join lfgs that ask for melee so we can understand the flame and rage.

U dont like it? make ur own lfg like some1 above just said and just type ur relaxed range camp lover etc and u will have fun.
I dont like it either when in harpy fractal the mesmer is shooting staff autos when all we need is his focus warden for those reflects so we dont keep falling down again and again after 2 mobs cus the guardian has his reflects on cooldown. Or Mai Trin lvl 50 and the warrior is down on his knees for a KillShot, dies to boss autos and then we have two more dying just to res that warrior. AINT FUN

This story always has 2 versions, but after all its just a l2p issue even if u want to admit it or not.
Nobody wants a 2h run when it can be done in just 1. And keep in mind some of us are doing those fractals for 2 years now so we like to rush it as much as we can.

It fails, just like it did before “we fixed it”.
Not on nails not on barrels , it didnt work on those lovely dredges that shoot from range.
Its the old fault i see here. It didnt attack me so the warden doesnt do anything to him, so the dumb phantasm doesnt spin.
2nd fail was on harpy fractal where u want stability or reflects. MY WARDEN WAS CHILLING I WAS FLYING.

So many reports on forum and so many hacked accounts selling gold, made me wanna help some of u guys if u dont want to read the text wall from Anet. So my2 cent on account security:

1. Use gmail – enable 2 step verification.
How this works: if a new machine (comp, phone tablet etc) wants to acces your email google sends a code to your phone. You dont have the code u cant access your email. You can set it so it remembers the machine after u enter 1 code so it doesnt have to bee a pain in the a8s each login. Free of charge btw

2. Enable email verification for your account on gw2 site.
How this works: if x wants to enter your gw2 account, x must first enter the email address for that account and click on the link provided there. If someone did get your account details they still have to get past the email/ hack the email to use your gw2 account and that its kinda hard if u do step 1 (email on the internet, phone in your pocket => they need james bond for this one )

3. Setup a nice and safe password.
If u love your gw2 stuff dont use the same password u have on some random internet account that u have used for years and can be compromised by now. Setup a new one.
Use Capital letters, use numb3rs, use symb*ls – d1dYoug3tit& ?

This 3 little steps saved me from more than 10 China login attempts. I hope it helps some more ppl. HF

Not like i expect any “real answer” to my rage/troll post, guess i just wanted to see if anyone else had this FEATURE in fotm.
Used to farm fotm with 4 chars at lvl49, 7 back pieces from fractals, like 40 fotm bags, done 50 plenty of times, some of us solo arah daily so we are not ur average joe hitting the dungeons for the 1st time. I think i/we know what fractals are and how mobs hit at this lvl.

Its the fact that we went inside expecting a 45min -1h run like always and then u get pwned by kitteng wolfs.
Something wasnt right and it was the dmg mobs had. And btw bosses were not a problem except Mai Trin.

back to the 15 characters …

Just had a FOTM49 run, that takes us like 1h to do daily, but today was the most shiasdjnasda run i ever had
Same team same friends etc
1st Swamp – why kite Mossman when wolfs can kill , yea that right wolfs had so much dmg that each player went down from wolfs atleast 1 time. But np its swamp we made it

2nd Molten Furnace – this was like 1 hit 1 down system was so much fun geez we want 10 more like this. Lets move on

3rd Underground Facility (Dredge) – Geez thx RNG for another nice fractal. We all know the pain in the ars dredge can be but we made it 100 times before lets go.
BUT WAIT THE DMG FROM MOBS IS STILL UP TO THE SKY. Np 1h+ here just for the fun of it.

Bonus Captain Mai Trin Boss Fractal – we went inside blablbla boss agroes 1st time, in 10 seconds we are all dead with 2 guards 2 warrs 1 mesmer condition removal for 100 yeas to come but who cares; 85 ar np JUST DIE

2.5h run wasnt that bad because we all know how pugs do it, but cmon the damage mobs had was KITTEN. Dont ask me why, we went in with usual builds and setup BUT THIS WAS kittenED

Thx Anet for a wonderfull experience, we love the buggs hope this is not going to happen for 1 month now as we love to run fractals. Keep up the good work.

Oh ive forgot: the best drop was a precision healer tank condition dmg type ring. Best in slot for such a nice run

Its not just u. Seems like this is “normal” for Anet.
They are a 1v1 class and that makes up for everything, yet put them in a party and they still 3 shot ppl and it doesnt look to me the thief goes out of combat that much to justify the damage.
Ofc we can dodge aegis protection regen etc. All those buffs have 100% uptime and are there on any builds. Just like the dmg on thief.

Take him out of that group and it would take ages to melt that amount of ppl with just 5. I was shocked just like u are, a good rune its 6 – 10 gold max and the extractor its 16-17g as u said. This must be a joke or smthing.

We can just ignore it ofc, but its dissapointing to see they keep adding stuff that DOES NOT MAKE SENSE.

I dont even care about the manifesto, after 10 years of mmos i dont trust what ppl advertise about their games. I will play the game and decide if i like it or not.

What do i like about gw2? well the graphics, how the character moves, b2p and thats it.

No endgame , its all about looks and achievments, pvp is more or less a joke( i cant see myself playing just that mode of the game), balance its worse than in most of the games that made me leave cus of it (and wtf is this balance made after 2w – 1 month again and again), all the stuff made for casuals (most of them even want a legendary wep in a week or two), even the grind is dumb LOL – in other games ppl would need to play some good pve to farm the crazy mobs not this spam 1 buff speed champ dead oO.

Then why ppl still play it.. well i think for 80% of the player base its alts. I think alts eat a ton of time, and alts buy time for Anet atm + there is no other new decent game that comes close to GW2. I know that might sound crazy but it is what it is. And lets not forget the casuals with a nice credit card + ppl that think Anet will do smthing in the right direction.

A game that i would relate to when it comes to succes in mmo world ? EVE ONLINE
It has hardcore pvp, a more easy version for nabs – blob vs blob, it has plenty of room for famers/grinders ( some ppl just like to grind ), it has an awesome economy, it has a nice community, a true sandbox mmo and on a final note IT ALL MAKES SENSE – not this gw2 FARM THE NEW SKIN/ACHIEVMENT. Geez i regret selling my EVE account oO

Some of u talk advertising. Cmon i wont deny that advertising brings new ppl in but if u make an awesome game + all the game reviewers we have out there, the game would sell like crazy. U dont have to spend billions to sell a good game , but u have to when the game sucks. Its just like the real world out there.

Ofc the state of GW2 atm is sad, but we cant do much to change it, and seems Anet wont do either – t3 revamped on store its the lowest scam i could think off and doesnt give us much hope (i guess its that hard to make some new armor ).

Most of us wanted a perfect game to call home for a few years, but perfect doesnt exist and this isnt even close to it.

Ive reported players griefing like this using the report system ingame, ive done reports on the site and nothing , just a generic email.
Those who have kicked me out of dungeon, merged my party or my friend’s, are still playing like nothing happened. kitteng trolls with 1k-2k ap

This thread and my post are about exploits and players who abuse them not about “decent” players that kill Lupicus.
I get it that some work, have kids, dont like dungeons, etc. They join the champ train /play the TP/ buy gems and trade for gold so they can buy arah runs for tokens or achievments. I have nothing against that, my rant is with the exploiters and the way ANet deals (or not) with it.

I join solo runners in arah p1 daily for the tar boss. I get 1 gold , boss killed u know the drill. I do this like 5 6 times a day, so after a few days i was asking myself : man am i that lazy? all these ppl can solo Lupi , i need to solo it one day ( ive tried 3 4 times failed and didnt try again ). I felt like a scrub.

But on topic, after the solo guy pays 2 players, many times ive had to wait for the 5 mins delay on mail or how long is it. Guess what the solo guys do: they dont go left to Lupi they go right side , yea thats right they skip Lupi.
Now i couldnt care less , i still get my gold, but cmon some guys rly know how to play the game, they solo stuff for almost 1 year now , when most of the players didnt even know how to make a proper build. And now all these punks are exploting and i feel its not fair. If u are that awesome solo runner go kill the kitten mob dont jump walls to get the reward.

And about exploiting , that dude Kripparrian got banned for the video on yt where he explained the karma deal or ghost pepper what was it i dont even care, it was a stupid ban. But Anet said the ban was for showing the “exploit” to other players by posting on yt.
Now how is that different than the ppl “teaching” obvious exploits in arah runs ? or using the exploits by skipping Lupi so they can make some easy gold in 20 min ? I guess Lupicus is there by mistake , then REMOVE IT.

Dungeon rewards = word bosses / champs farm more or less.
Anet made this new rewards on champs and world bosses just for the casuals in this game + the inflated economy.
What bothers me is not how others play , its the fact that good teams , of even players that have the guts to pug all day long in dungeons, dont get a proper reward. What is that wonderful in a zerg of players running from champ to champ, why should a meaningless style of play like this reward so much gold ??
If some1 has something else to say, then go ask some of the casuals that are buying arah runs every day, ask them mate have u worked hard for that 20g u just paid for p4, are u that scared of this “raid” ? LOL; most of them are clients not a 1 time buyer.
I am not the one to say how things should work but it doesnt feel right how it is atm.

90% sellers in arah are exploiters , meaning Lupi is never killed, or they just kick ppl after the boss that needs more than 2 players is dead ( tar, wraith etc).
But indeed nothing wrong with it, lets just keep going, the casuals buying are happy.

Got the same error, can chat can explore, i did get the rewards for monthly for example, but cant join any party in a dungeon. Meanwhile gf can play on the same network but she has the guild bug. Gz Anet.

The rest of us play with rly bad players cus they are our friends our guildies or pug teams, so im not gonna say fku to my friends or guild or jump from team to team just to find 1 that knows how to melee. Guess what IM GONNA RANGE some mobs and bosses just to finish that dungeon and move on; does that make me a bad player, i think not its called adapt.
And yes i know how to melee all the dungeons in this game, but fact is the 2 pug warriors in my team just started shooting bow and rifle and im the mesmer in melee + that guardian didnt use his virtues the whole dungeon, hope u get the ideea.

I got a feeling that sometime soon some pug will tell me im a bad player cus i range with my mesmer and he just ported in with 5 signets build, cus yea some read forum/watch yt about stuff but they still play dumb as fk like the strifemania axe/mace and tactics banner with 4 warrs in rip cof where bosses died in 10 15 secs. But hey the guy next to me is bad not me.

Back to the topic, yes legendary gs fits guardian better, i have one on my mesmer and the animations are lame , so im going to move it on guardian.

keep them for an alt or new armor if u want . the new update made it so u cant farm tokens like before … 1 char 60 tokens u change toon for a new run bam 20 tokens.

Yes Gs can be used by mesmer in CoF runs just like the other said :
Slave Driver – gs5 slave driver into wall + gs4 for some dps switch to ur sword+focus;
Acolytes – u rly dont need/want to go melee with the fast cc and dps u can get on u there so gs does a good job killing 1 acolyte really fast and its good if some ppl are dead u start with gs kill 1 then move in melee for a second kill etc;
Searing Effigy – same kitten u start with a gs4 and then switch to sword+ focus ;

Its not like u have to use it, i consider it useful for some extra dps, but are not going to aa with it in melee Oo like ive seen some mesmer do it or just use gs and play it safe, thats not right in cof speedruns or any other melee team.
As for other dungeons, u will know ur spots where u need a range wep for dps and thats not staff or scepter lets be real. And dont tell me when u pug all day long u are in melee all the time, some teams are just fail and u need to adjust or leave, ur choice.

What votes man , lets try some more basic stuff : opening 14 stacks of liquid karma, 100 of those from the daily and some of the others.
Thats like 4k DOUBLE CLICKS, only so u can use that karma with some boosters on .
We really need an option to open so many, but what can i expect when Gaile thinks there’s no need for a macro in a gazzilion click problem

@kudane this isnt about elite skills .
Best to describe it is CoF p1 runs where u use portal / signet/ blink , u get past bolders portal is on cd / mesmer uses signet for the gate guy/ blink is on cd. When the gate is done most mesmer switch blink – that is off cd now, with feedback for the last boss and there is the problem.
U can change blink – OFF CD with feedback but after u change it it takes the portal cd, somewhere around 30 40 secs .
So u start last boss with portal on cd / signet ready to buff ur party /an useless slot with feedback on 30-40 secs cd.
And btw i have a warrior friend and he gets the same cd problem where 1 utility slot shares the cd with a banner he just used. So devs have something to fix atm but i dont see it happening too soon.

Today i got hit by this bug, and ive googled it just to find its an 3 months old problem.
All those achievments updates live content etc and wep swap + mouvie, dungeon join and this utility slot bugs are like 3 4 months old from what i know. Why dont they fix that and then move to adding new grinding updates ?

Wannabe esport game , so this kitten will go on to the end of time .
They could have made the changes to curtain just for pvp but meh why would they bother about pve, or must be the mobs that complained about it.
But they had time for phantasm pve hp buff and guess what , they still die in 1 hit, how could they not , we the players can die in 1 hit what do u expect from a clone.

Where do u guys find these nabs , or u select plays from hours of running in w3. The first warr was like 10 att in 1 minute, the 2nd guy died in 1 chaos and few scepter aa and i can go on.
U can go ahead make a lvl 5 mesmer vs lvl 80s, it will work if u find the right ones.

So done with confusion, done with timewarp(i find it useless atm but hey u dont stealth on bosses right ),done with blurredfrenzy, guess now its time for portal to get a “fix” – make 10 15 threads it will get nerfed at 1 point.
btw i didnt think il find ppl complaining about portal when so many ask u for one .

I made a necro just for the looks of it, charr with a wraith mask on it, geez thats scary.
As for minions while lvling, yea used some from lvl 1 to lets say 20 then no more minions as i hate them.
Scepter+dagger/ staff and at lvl 30 i was doing aoe with 5-10 mobs at a time no lies or nothing. I did maps with 2 of my friends at that lvl and they didnt had time to dps the mobs i was luring and killing them so fast. Even soloed the Nebo Terrace event in the night i took the time to get some new gear and weps (it was power and condition damage for stats) and tried this setup, also in that frenzy i was, made lvls 27-30 in like 1h. IT WAS FUN !
This insane aoe at that lvl is the the reason he is lvl 80 now fully geared and etc with the rest of my toons and stil no minions
