Looking for a large pve guild with lots active people running xp dungeons, raids, fractals, open world content in large groups

please fix the bug where at the end of every meta event in heart of thorns right after the last boss is killed my game freezes, and requires me to force shut down my pc with 2 unresponsive monitors. the HOT meta events are far too long to crash at the end of about 10 meta event completions now without getting loot for any of them, and these 10+ crashes have made me lose atleast 30 hours of work that was up in the background from me having for force power down my pc. please fix before i delete my account and uninstall one of these times

I was running a condi setup in pvp, and when fighting another revenant he was dealing with my condis great with the ventari tablet, that doesnt work as well in wvw but i imagine using the swirling hammers and a food and runes that reduce condi duration in wvw you will do fine with so much condi duration reduction

My condi revenant does great in pve… i keep up constant 15 stacks of torment, 3 to 4 stacks of burning and 2 to 3 stacks of poison with some chill and weakness and confusion thrown in, and its very easy to get up to 30+ stacks of torment and double the burning as before, all condis at once for me typically hit for 4-8k per second on a mob standing still so i say its pretty good, and in pvp its so easy to hold a point with mallyx, just drop a ton of torment feilds on the point and turn your elite on and your in great shape to hold that point, anyone that enters just melts

im not sure if im doing something wrong or not, but i have my revenant in the beta specialized for the herald and i see im supposed to have an F2 skill but i dont have one,is this a bug or do i need to fix this somehow??

After this happened, i tried to open my map and my computers screen went dark, said no signal from pc but still made a few random noises, dont know what this isse is…

~now found that mouse will go invisible if the first thing i do is use an AOE circle attack, mouse pointer will get a weird black box around it if some menu like inventory is opened first

So i started playing this morning and realized my mouse pointer was invisible in game, i could see my pointer and move it around just fine on my desktop, but in game it was invisible, and i can mouse over stuff and see it highlight under the mouse, but cannot see the pointer, restarted client 4 times now and still cant see the pointer for some reason

As ive been playing this beta, i thought i wuld post my thoughts as i did on the last one also~

Verdant brink/masteries/beginning story: the defend amber sandfall was the worst part of this by far, the 5 times i went through it was beyond hoarded by mordrem and i passed it simply by reviving the lord over and over, because there was no other players around to help with it, it needs to be slightly toned down so it is still very difficult but not impossible for one player to do, after that the rest of the story was very good for the slice we saw and the map was very good also, enemies are finally difficult although i wish more of the map was accessible, because there was many large spaces and other areas where it was inaccessible, and it was quite a bit of the map and i hope more will become accessible. Masteries were pretty cool, i only got gliding and bouncing mushrooms done in the time but i do wish it would take a bit longer to do, and it confused me for a while of how i unlock masteries when i first started in verdant brink, and in verdant brink every few minutes i would get huge brown things covering my screen, they looked like massive low res vines although i could walk right through, and most of the events in verdant brink were very bugged to the point they couldnt complete

Revenant: the revenant is still very lacking, it is better than it was before but i still have trouble matching the dps of my power/tank guardian when runnin full glass on the revenant, the shiro legend is not very good still as 2 of the skills are utility, they are good utility but it would be nice to be able to opt out of taking one, the quickness skill is very good and a well balanced skill, and same with jade winds although i found the general opinion of the heal was complete trash. Swords werr alright, but overall with revenant it all needs a dps boost and a better way to tank damage although healing with ventari is far better than healing with any other class

Specializations: the reaper was very cool to see, i really liked my time in the reaper although with its damage on chill i feel the chill needs to do more damage. Chronomancer was very cool, wells were good but the sheild was kind of meh, and the 5th shatter was very cool. Tempest… i really dont see the point of the tempest, it is giving ele yet another support option when it has plenty others although the shouts except the air shout were pretty good, and dragonhunter, the traps are meh, and auto attack on longbow is pretty bad and i feel the skill 5 needs to do a bit more dps but longbow was good.

Stronghold: stronghold is great, the legends are cool, but as soon as the revenant was in spvp, well all weekend all i saw was revenants on doing well against other revenants, and getting completely stomped by every other class every single time, even myself and 2 other revenants were unable to kill a guardian that labled himself as alright, and in another fight a warrior that said he was bad, both 3v1’s and the revenants lost all

There was my impressions of this BWE, ive always been told by devs in every game to when theres a beta, say whats wrong in it so the devs can fix it, so theres what i thought of this BWE in the many many hours that i sat infront of my computer this weekend, and the general opinion that i gather from many people in verdant brink and spvp, although no wvw but overall, good and very cool beta weekend

Ive been noticing in the dredge fractal the stability road skill ends up with black bricks instead of misty white, just a graphical glitch ive been noticing that i thought i’d share so it could be fixed

I beg to differ when you said guardian can always do good damage with gs, run nomad gear and see

Update, tablet always made a weird darker box around it while moving, not just during blizzard it made it when there was a smokey effect, when it was clear with no smokeyness i didnt see the weird darker box

I moved my tablet during the blizzard when fighting the elemental source, and it has this ugly grey box around it while moving that fixed after, this happened more than once during the blizzard, probably not a good thing so just alerting people of issue

As ive been playing the beta, ive noticed that even with full berserkers gear the dps my revenant puts out is very low, especially compared to all my other level 80s, even my guardian which my build isnt meant for high dps, the revenant does not put out any spectacular conditions either and when running with the celestial gear it felt squishier than my ele in knights gear or other classes in full zerker armor. The healing done with staff still feels pretty lacking as all healing does for me, and the weapons feel overall slow and clunky after the first few hours of playing, ive only gotten to run dungeons and other pve so far as wvw on my server is currently about 20 gates of madness guys camping our spawn and i havent got a chance to go in spvp yet so i dont know how it is there yet, although i do feel that as of now the revenant needs overall buffs to most of its skills so they trigger faster and do more damage, and add extra mechanic to some skills such as make the projectile sheild reflect instead of absorb projectiles and other small things like that to make the rev better, because already dungeon groups are asking me every so often to ditch my revenanf and get a different class and ive been kicked many times due to lacking capabilities in the revenant, overall please buff the revenant as its currently sitting a tier lower the other classes in how powerful they are

Ive tried to go on the forums now a couple times to make a couple posts about what i think of the revenant after a few hours of playing, and when trying to open these forums on my pc, chrome freezes up and i have to task manager close it, but i can visit all other pages fine, is this issue just me or is someone else having the same issue?

my first login attempt when launching launcher always fails but after i put password back in it logs in fine… tells me the same message too

i used to run like 80 ping last week then i loaded up the patch yesterday and today and my ping has jumped to over 1000 average, any way to fix this issue… and its only gw2 that is lagging horribly for me

restarted game twice, still getting refused, checked card info again, still getting refused, any help?

I am trying to buy gems to get a few dye kits with a $10 prepaid card, and i keep getting payment authorization failed, even though i have all correct information and ive used a prepaid visa card just like the one i am using currently atleast 5 times now to buy stuff from the gem store and this time i am getting my payment refused, i just checked and i have exactly 10$ on my card and my payment is exactly $10, any help/reason why i cannot buy gems right now?

Also do you have to get eye of the north to get hall of monuments stuff? Im more interested in story but i want to get something out of it for gw2 also

Would it be approx $50 to buy the trilogy (origin game, factions and nightfall) for 30 and then 20 for eye of the north? Would that be about right? (Im only going for this for the lore behind it

With all the new story coming out with references to old GW1 stories, i thought i’d pick up gw1 and have a go, so how much does it cost, including all expansions?

Currently in fractals i run banner healing, banner for toughness/vit power/condi and healing/boons and then battle standard, is it best to run this for fractals or to run maybe a phalanx setup or some other build i havent tried yet? Any tippssss?

if your in pve look up a fresh air build and run that, spvp fresh air is also good, scepter focus is a good one and dagger focus also, if your straight dueling run D/D, and WvW zerging run staff with whatever spec you feel is best, tips from a player with 600 hours clocked and 300 in ele, swap attunements constantly, learn your blast finishers and experiment, i didn’t do this for my first 100 or so hours in the ele but after i started doing that i got a lot better

slick shoes and knockdowns are broken? its called a simple stability or blink to solve all your knockdown issues

I was taking a stroll through caledon forrest today, found some floating carrots just south of twilight arbor, dunno if this is just a graphic bug or anything but i just thought i’d report this~

Gw2 might still have a bit of grinding for stuff in it but it is so much better than many other games out there, as in i have a few where you have to spend atleast 4 hours of hard grinding using op methods to get 1/10 of the way to a new item. Then upgrade it takes even longer, gw2 we barely have to gring anything, and its fun and interesting grind too imo

Also, when i got the confirmation email is it supposed to take me back to guildwars2.com with no message or is it supposed to give me a message somehow telling me i registered my email right?

i tried to register my email for the hot mailing list, and i managed to get my secondary spam email to register and get the confirmation email, but i tried to register my main email that i actually check and it would not receive the email from anet… any help?

Will the demo at PAX east be only for those at PAX east? or will everyone be able to play the demo even if they do not go to PAX east (which i assume is majority)?

as long as its not over $70 for some reason, im def going to buy this expansion, the lure of heading into maguuma and new maps and stuff seems so appealing

Will we be able to play the demo in 6 weeks without being at pax east?

I am wondering how much more map will be released, i know the maps will have a lot more verticality to them but i was wondering how much bigger of an area we will see, like will we see a area the size of kryta or ascalon, or wil all of the maguuma wastes be unlocked, right to the edge of the map?

Tbh i would pay up to $60, the cost i paid for the game, if it brough all of maguuma out to explore

I was unable to download the game client when i got my new pc in mid december, then it took forever to get the last patch, and now this patch is taking forever and doenloading extremely slow (its been an hour and a half on this update so far)

I am currently trying to update to the point of no return patch and as of now i have downloaded 650 megabytes at 60kbps (my download is much faster) and its been going forever on the last 2 files, any idea how long this might take?

Mine is at 500mb and counting with 2 files left… does anyone have any idea how long it will take because i would really appreciate being able to log in for my daily

i was recently looking for a good way to unlock more dyes for my character, i have a good number of common dyes and some above that level and I was wondering if there was a good way to unlock all the dyes or almost all of the dyes available without dumping too much gold on unlocking them all, any tips?

anyone have any ideas when it might be back up again?

i have forced closed the client and reopened it and its doing the same thing, anything i can do?

i just got a new pc and i am trying to redownload guild wars 2. and i know i have great connection by how i am downloading 2 other games right now also, but guild wars 2 is giving me the connection errors message and its been giving my friend the same thing while he is trying to get the wintersday update, any way i can fix this? (i cannot close the game either now)

Looking at the video and short little post I saw it kind of looks like its just more quests are coming instead of a new map, I was talking about something more like dry top or southsun cove being added

My only question is this a new map being released or just more living story quests?

I was remembering my time of playing guild wars 1 today, aand I was looking at the current map of tyria, and I was wwondering when we could expect more of the map to be opened up? I know dry top was added fairly recently and southsun cove was the first map released, but when will we be getting new maps/dungeons?

What they should do is let players take part in events to rebuild the citg. Give them halloween and merry wintersday type rewards and im sure lions arch could or should be rebuilt in a month or so… if they give decent, but not super good rewards and decent acheivement points im sure loads of people would do the events to rebuild

this is the 4th time this has happened to me where i can connect and load game updates but when i try to connect and log into the game it gives me the same error message that i could not connect to the server to log in. this only happens when i switch from using my home wifi connection to my friends LAN connection and back. typically when i switch like i just described it takes 3+ hours for the game to realize theres nothing stopping it from connecting to the game server and to let me log in. every time it recommends to reboot the game engine and i do that every time, along with reboot my computer and wifi connection and it still takes 3+ hours to finally connect. is there anything i can do about this issue?

thanks but the most recent escape from lions arch update and a couple new windows updates seems to have fixed the problem
