Hey!

We are looking for a few more people to join us for our weekly raid.
We are pretty much a casual guild with a laid back mentality, we are at 11 members currently. We have no rep rule, we are mostly friends so we use the guild as a hub to chat and start activities.

We have been raiding for the last 2 months, and we need about 3 more to get a core group we can rely on to raid most weeks.

Us
We raid on a Saturday night starting at 19:00 (GMT+1) (18:00 Server time) We have killed both VG and gorse and are currently working on sabetha (3rd phase)
We currently have an experienced raid guide, who is teaching us every encounter
We have a almost daily fractal T4 run

You
All we are really looking for is someone is laid back, fun, willing to learn, free at the time stated above, and willing to join and talk on our discord server.
We require at least ascended weapons and trinkets and Exotic armor with Foods
Comfortable playing a meta build and changing builds if needed.
Some wing 1 experience would be good.

We are not offering super speed clears, but instead a nice calm weekly raid slowly pushing to kill all raid bosses.

If you are in a position at the moment where you’re ready to raid but can’t seem to find a group give me a shout ingame :-

DH DPS is one of the best.
Plus DH has a ton of sustain…
DH/Guard is in a great place ATM outside of PvP

Nope never too late I started raiding 3 weeks ago we got our 1st VG kill last week and killed him again this week, we are now starting on gorse.
Our guild is fairly small we have about 5-6 people who can actually raid, so we fill the last few spots with friends, and friends of friends, once you start asking people to help you out it is amazing how many in the gw community will go out of their way to help.
If you can scratch a few together its really worth,

It sounds like a lot, but legendary anything is a long term goal, and one day I am sure we’ll have so many Li’s people on the forums will be moaning about bag space.

I think part of this issue too is the op was showing the new players around with out knowing thier limits, tbh on the 1st play through most people don’t get to LA till the story takes them there.

Because Functional Dragon, even if your idea was true, it would take 5 meta event minimum (earning a quoted 30g each) to make enough gold to buy 400 gems (5*30=150g) the farm can only happen for 15 mins every 2 hours, which equals 10 hoursof sitting on or around a PC to hit the events, also I tend to find people in multi loot squads try thier best to create successful maps. I really don’t understand your dislike for this farm tbh…

Every day I see threads about having Tengu as a playable race. What is the obsession? I never really felt that Tengu are that great, in gw2 we see so little of them, and in gw1 they just meh to me..

I have never seen a mesmer and necro zerg in wvw?? Condi isn’t anymore meta than zerker, everything has a place. I really dont see what you’re getting at here, we’ve been given the option to use condi as effectively as flat damage, that’s options.

Remember you can get infusion removers from Fractals, don’t do what I did and go buy a upgrade extractor for 50g ;__;

I don’t really see the point in this argument, if you was going to buy the T7 ofc it will be cheaper to buy the completed pre off the TP, this crafting allows incremental progress to a goal, wish people in this forum would stop expecting to get stuff for free, and when they don’t they go off saying things like ‘what where A-net thinking’ if you don’t like the system, go to the TP and buy it… Some of the precrafting is broken like the even failing thing but the ‘cost’ isn’t.

Thanks for the replys, I did manage to get the lodestone today, seems like quite a low chance for it, been farming north and west watch now too, not much luck there either xD (some how I got south watch on the first champo!!)

I’m pretty close to the Luminate’s Backplate, I have Exalted Gathering, but I haven’t yet found the Auric Lodestone on any of the nodes, is it straight RNG? I have been running around Aruic Basin gathering but so far no luck for me. Anyone else found it yet?

What’s wrong with rebound? Been playing it in WvW as a cele frontliner and has saved my kitten many times ,: p

I am in a small WvW main guild on piken has 4 active players we are all close friends, and we have had a great time with the new GMs, the GH and the GH upgrades ofc we are fairly far behind most other guilds but that doesn’t matter. For our GH we asked a few of our piken friends to help us cap guilded hallow, we had a great hour or so on TS. I think people are trying to rush the content rather than just enjoying at your own pace. Chill out people have fun

I disagree with the above comment, I believe now the mentor tag has been with us a while the novelty has warn off. For example last night myself using a mentor tag + another mentor and 2 commander tags completed an Auric Basin map, (ik its not the hardest map in the world). And again yesterday I was in a dragon stand map, (successful) and that had a 50/50 spilt commander to mentor. Yes there are some people that troll, but for the most part it is a good thing imo.

I see what you are saying, but this ready isn’t a grind, in the grand scheme of things, if they had made the mastery system chara bound then I’d be annoyed, but as it sands you could go to magumma to lvl your mastery and the elite spec and then change chara and lvl that spec in maguuma

Yes, but in the original game you had to lvl from 0-80

I think a lot of people are looking at this the wrong way, its like a new profession, that is why you have to level up every elite spec separataly.

A legendary isn’t just a skin its also a stat-swapable ascended, and you could of sold the legendary. Either way I don’t know who in the right mind would even dream of vendoring these, but that’s me.

For the first time in this forum I agree with the OP the timer isn’t a great idea, but it doesn’t mean zerker, just means that DMG high gear is still meta, could make druid pointless maybe?

Please note though, 1 legendary is a hella lot of effort, IMO your best off geting asc, you could get a whole set of asc armor weapons and trinkets for the same price as let’s say twilight or bifrost

Why do they need to decrease the amount of silk, the only reason I seem to find is that people want easy sets of asc armor, which isn’t going to happen, you can farm the silk needed, go to SW or something, a lot of people already have many sets of asc armor, so decreasing the silk content would annoy that group, IMO its not going to happen, just cheer up and head to SW, like the rest of us..

How is this thread at all constructive? Hopefully a mod can close it soon so we can be done with this…
