Call it a WVW account wide slot bag that allows us to keep those rams, catapults, trebuchets, ballistas, golems, shield generators, stealth traps, supply traps, etc. Not just 10 slots but enough for regular and superior seige and traps.
You can even make it so only wvw inventory items will be put into it. 5 slot max is kinda limiting and Im guessing that you havent thought about the wvw players again.

Though my group of 5 roam WVW on the new borderland maps while everyone else sticks to EBG, the Oasis event is good and bad. 5 of us can complete the event and take a whole borderland by ourselves. We dont mind it but it has happened to us as well. My suggestion is to take the auto firing Oasis Event and turn it into a Super Cannon like in EOTM where people have to be on it to fire it. Put two cannons up there but make it something that has to be manned or guarded to continue to break down the walls. Basically, the way it is, the last group to stay awake takes all the PPT for the night. If you make the Oasis manned, and put a timer on it, then based on the amount of people and their skill, they should be able to take 1-2 objectives, not the whole map.
Another suggestion that would get more people back into WVW is to change the EBG map. With that map being the only thing people know, they tend to stick to it instead of trying the new maps. “But there is no fights there” is what we hear from people who are used to zerging instead of doing tactical havoc squad stuff. The objectives are so far apart that breaking down walls from one objective is no longer possible but the nice thing is that there is plenty of space for those that GvG there without interfering too much with the map. Just turn off the EBG map and you will see the numbers of the true WVW players remain on the maps.
Another suggestion would be when an objective turns T3, why not make the barricades T1 walls. This insures that the objective can be held longer, and not pew pew’ed down but sieged down instead, unless they want to walk all the way around to save on siege and supplies.
Im glad that the Anet Developers spend time with WVW’ers but heading to the top tier and following zergs is not helping the small groups and roamers and people who cause havoc and want small quality of life changes. My group has many more suggestions but the few that I have listed would be nice to see implimented, and possibly not that hard…since you have the code for the cannons on EOTM, and in the beta the barricades were walls. We have some nice ideas about a river around SM with breakable bridges and an underground burial tunnel with fire and traps for StoneMist Castle. Let us know if you want to hear about them.
Dont worry, this is their way of “time gating” you since they said it was going to take us all 9 months to max our guild halls.
edit: The newest patch on 12/16/2015 seemed to fix our Guild XP but we are one level behind what we should have been…Both the guilds that Im building are the same way.

We spoke with a few of your map chat team members and they are specifically saying they dont want any guilds there. They want guilds to go elsewhere. If you need screenshots, we can provide them to you.
I was able to play in EOTM for about 8 hours today. The past two hours Im stuck on a loading screen when entering EOTM. I found a few other bug reports about Plains of Ashford and decided to go there and see what happens and confirm that the same issue with Plains is identical to EOTM.
Attempting to change my wardrobe but since the latest patch, I can no longer see my characters feet in the Hero panel. Picture attached.
Armor Master [Armorsmith] in WVW no longer opens the merchant window when you click on it. It shows up and immediately goes away. This happened right after the last update a few hours ago. Ive also tried the vendor at the keep at it does the same thing. The merchant and the weaponsmith still work though.
Ive been getting a few whispers from wvw players wanting me to use some of my transmutation charges and apply them to white weapons and send them. Namely my legendaries so that they can break down the weapon and gain the skin. Im sure ArenaNet though about this and this feature does not work, but I wanted to see if any of the players here have tried it.
Ive seen another post on here about losing sigil stacks when entering water which didnt happen before the patch. Im seeing the loss of my stacks when waypointing within the same map. This doesnt happen all the time. For instance, I start at a waypoint and kill 4 trash mobs around it, waypoint back to the same waypoint and I lose all my stacks.
Update About 20 minutes after my post, my item is now showing up in the BLTC as items for sell. This was about 30 minutes total as I submitted an in game bug before referring the the forums.
Im having a similar issue. Forged 4 rares and got an exotic. Sold it on the BTLC but I dont see the item in the sold tab, or items Im selling tab and the gold is not there.
I ran 3 Wup Wup pieces of gear and 3 Berserker pieces of gear pre patch and had much more critical damage due to the higher crit dmg of the wup wup gear on head, chest and pants. Pre patch when hitting for upwards of 8K on a backstab build, and 5K on bow Cluster Bomb, now I hit for a little less than 5K backstab and 3K on bow. In WVW my ferocity is showing 1068 with Crit Dmg at 221% but the numbers are not matching up.
The other thing that is wierd is that ferocity replaced critical damage but runes of divinity which added critical damage have no ferocity now.
I noticed the schedule on the releases page showing a potential future schedule for world events but many youtuber(s) have talked about the community being upset about not being able to complete certain bosses during their play window.
Just thought it might make things easier if you took the last hour of the schedule off and start the list at the beginning after the first 23 hours. This would make each event 1 hour earlier each day so that people who play for 3 hours per day (give or take) would be able to encounter different bosses each time they play but still give the community a chance to gather people for specific events. This would still allow for rotations and could possibly solve issues with certain boss event not spawning within an individuals play time.
On the other hand, I believe it was wooden potatoes or matt visual who said there could be an item that could spawn a boss event in the near future. This would solve the issue as well. Just wanted to throw my idea out there in case it might be found helpful.
My prediction is that everyone will be playing as Scarlet and there is no wardrobe or features that they talked about being released. What are your assumptions?
Moderators of the forum should merge this into the Opening Inventory makes my bag wider topic. Changing the wording doesnt make the bug fix any faster. Not trying to be mean but I work as a System Administrator and multiple tickets re-worded for the same issue usually get stored until I feel like working on them.
14 more minutes and the video will be uploaded to show the developers how to re-create the issue and to validate that it is in fact changing on its own. Basically I re-size the bag, open and close inventory about 5-10 times and it changes on its own.

According to the wiki, you can combine 3 pieces of level 75 armor or higher with 1 weapon in the Mystic Forge. When I choose a weapon, it doesn’t allow me to choose the armor pieces. If I choose the armor first, then I cannot choose the weapon. If I place them all in there, the forge button is grayed out.
I know there were a few topics floating around about a year ago. Basically, Ive purchased a few exotic weapons in WVW, they have been replaced by either Legendary or Ascended weapons over time. Now I have weapons that I cannot salvage and cannot combine with other exotics in the Mystic Forge to recoop some of my loss. All I have the option of doing is destroying the weapons or saving them for future use which probably wont happen. Is there a way to sell it back to the original merchant, or combine it in the MF, or a tool to salvage this that I cannot find?
I spoke to the person and they thought it might be one of their legendaries. He never noticed it. Out of the whole crowd, he stood out. His legendaries are Quip/Bolt and Dual Incinerators. Ive heard quip doing this but he was glowing when wielding the incinerators as well.
I understand the logic that when a player disconnects, if he/she was hit before the disconnect, then it acts as such…but if you are walking through the world and all of a sudden disconnect, you dont see your player running to a mob or falling off a cliff. When you log back in, you pay for the waypoint to resurrect but also have to pay for armor repair as well. Its not your fault for the disconnection, but the game is built to think you logged out of wvw, or pvp to keep the enemy from receiving a kill count. Is this really doing justice for those on disadvantaged networks?
I had some in game friends on my server help me out. Basically I followed a commander by joining squad. When they log off, I dont see any of the other ones anymore. You have to open your party icon, leave squad and it returns to normal so you can see all the other commanders again. Hope this helps others if they run into it.
Im not sure if its a setting but I can no longer see commander tags on my mini map or the regular map. About 10 hours ago, they were showing up just fine. Now I can not see them anymore but if you highlight a commander, it shows that their tag is on? Anyone have any ideas? Ive included a screen capture.
I had this problem in the past when I had automatic windows updates enabled. They would install in the background and the BLTC would only operate properly after I rebooted so the updates could be applied. Hope this helps you out.
Im on Sorrows Furnace and have the same issues.
I have 8 characters. One of each profession. I wanted to experience all of them and yet most were squishy while leveling, the ones I tend to play the most now are Theif, Engineer, Mesmer, and Necro. I have the others waiting at world bosses to get some loot daily but for most of the time, I spend farming my materials for my second legendary.
I log on to do my dailies. I spend a bit of time in WVW with a group of people that I see there often. When I get bored, I look in the achievements panel and set goals on completing them. Ive never done fractals or dungeons but I have all my stuff done on my hero panel. When I get bored with that, I tend to Champ farm run in Frostgorge Sound to make some money to purchase the materials to craft my second legendary.
Almost a month and nothing else has been updated about this. Im hoping for some good news and holding out a bit longer.

Love it…great addition to the game. I know the max cap for MF is 300%. Just wondering what happens after 300%? Do we still get luck from salvage? Its not able to be sold or traded. Do we stop getting luck from salvage once we get the cap. I still want the ability to salvage my blues and greens for materials.
Im just wondering, if they dont want us to be able to Forge these anymore, then they should at least give us the option to salvage it for a chance at Black Matter for crafting.

I have video proof that the daggers after the release of the additional stats could be thrown in the Mystic Forge. I found a thread in the Bugs section that clarified it more. Waiting on the fix. I have video proof that it used to work, I used the exotics to attempt my spark precursor…and finally got it. I have a bank tab full of these and have the same issue. I was searching the forums for this but using the wrong key words so Ill have to delete the post I just made about the same issue.

I have a few exotics in my inventory that are from WVW merchants that I dont use anymore. In the past I used to combine them in the Mystic Forge to spit out a sell able item on the Black Lion Trading Post. This is not possible anymore. I cannot salvage them either. It only allows me to destroy. Is this a bug or intentional? Do I just waste the 1 gold plus badges that I spent acquiring the item?
The karma merchant items are still able to be place in the Mystic Forge to get rid of them and feel like you get something back out from them. The exotics on the other hand are almost not worth buying anymore, when builds change, your stuck with your money. Anyone else have this issue?
Yeah I noticed the same thing back in Beta. Ive been playing on normal interface size but I really wish they would fix the font. Apparently since its an option, it should work. I just like to have more visible viewing area and its fine until it comes time to shop on the BLTC. Its been a year since my original forum post. I just figured I would bring it up again in hopes that someone would take a look in their spare time.
I clicked it, no difference. Restarted client, same thing. I also turned all the performance options all the way up max, same issues in BLTC. Other text such as Dynamic Events are fine.

Im having an issue viewing the font on the BLTC when you change your interface size to small instead of normal. I have included some pictures to help the developers or anyone else reading this post understand it a little better. Its just not very legible when on small but viewing on the normal interface setting, looks fine.

As the topic suggests, before the patch, we were able to combine exotic soulbound items in the mystic forge to produce items that could be sold on the BLTC. We are able to do this with Rare items, but I can no longer do it with Exotics.

Asura vs Human vs Norn
I play an Asura theif and notice that when I use heartseeker to close in on an enemy, my heartseeker tends to miss more often than hit. Ive been playing this character since release and it never really bothered me until I started watching WvW gameplay on youtube. There are multiple videos out here that show humans and norn that seem to leap double the distance that my character does. I would be interested if anyone else notices this as well. I have 8 characters and would hate to buy another character slot just to build a human to test this out. My guild is rather small and it would be greatly appreciated if there were any thief WvW’ers that play alot together that might be able to stand side by side and use a single heartseeker to measure the distance. Im the shortest height Asura and the vids I see are normal to taller sized humans and norn. Ill probably record and publish a youtube video of my Asura and distances measured in town and WVW to show how short the heartseekers are. Maybe I can get a few video responses of humans and norn heartseekers in the same test areas I record.
To sum up my jibberish, Does height affect heartseeker distance?
Is distance of heartseeker affected by race?
We need these, or at least change the drop rate of the original. I wouldnt mind paying $20 worth of gems to have access to this. Lets see who else thinks so.
This is becoming frustrating, Its happened twice today. Cannot get rewards for completion/partial completion. Cannot get achievements. Blocking progress.
Can we get at least a 5 minute grace period to re-enter our homeworld, shard, overflow, instance, dungeon on disconnects?
I realize I’m on an undesirable internet connection because I’m currently deployed in Afghanistan. I am able to play but continue to have interruptions in my connections. Having the grace period to re-join our previous game-play would make this game much more enjoyable. We all realize that stuff happens, hardware sputters, internet lags, programs block and interrupt, etc.
Im pretty sure that Guild Wars 1 had this ability. Its been over a year since Ive played. All my interests reside in GW2.
Glancing at map chat, I am not the only person having these issues. People with great connections and hardware are also having this problem.
Playing a 45 minute Chaos event and being disconnected 1-5 minutes before it ends is very disappointing. Sometimes logging back in and finishing the event does not keep track of the portals that you have closed and the returns for completion are diminished. Furthermore, to log back in after disconnection and find that all the work you did was lost to an overflow without the event running makes for a bad taste in ones mouth.
I’m sure it is not much work to implement this subtle change and greatly increase the appreciation from the community and the game-play experience from many who want to enjoy the game when they have a chance to play it.
Appreciate the time and work that went into this game. I truly enjoy it when I do get a chance to play, even on a laggy network from Afghanistan on my off time.

So much lag today for some reason. Walking towards the exit results in rubberbanding. Could we get a leave instance button to drop us back off in Divinity’s Reach, or a waypoint available when viewing the map to take us to another area. I dont mind paying but when my character is stuck here, it renders unusable.
Im sure Im not the only one experiencing this problem. When walking past people, I see tons casting and shooting into thin air over and over again.
