Has anyone tried any of these sets on PvE or PVP ? What’s the power adamage difference. I’m currently using Scholar on zerker armor and the numbers are pretty big ( cleave with full stack of might chill buff hits for 4k-4k-8I and whirl hits for 12k , number on PvE) . Anyone running runes of Strength? Sorry to ask but the cost is pretty high to go yolo and test it myself

Reapers were the only ones that souldn’t get any nerfs since the macro class and the guardians were the only ones that were always left behind. I’m with you at the partial need of mesmers nerf but they already got needed since their OP elite got damage decrease . But again in group scenario with chronomacer’s time reduction buff the cd need won’t be really noticed. Like I’ve said in other posts people need to think our of their boxes and think in group scenarios since you play an MMO and more precisely an MMO that has as a goal to make group content a must. That’s why before Elite Specialiasation Hero Points was decreased was really awsoeme, because it was challenging and Anet was forcing you to play in groups, but that’s a talk for another post.

That’s totally your perspective. I thought since BWE3 that new was really amazing. On both PVE and PVP conent… Don’t just look it from solo point of view… But consider the the group scenario. A well played combo of DH maw , Reaper’s elite elite and Reaper Shroud #5 , mesmer stun or warrior hammer or whatever could insta lock down a whole team in PVP and break really fast the shield of bosses in PVE . Considering all the above I think it’s fair to increase it’s cd.

How does Radiant Fire work when you don’t have a torch equipped?

It just…does?

There’s no torch really involved in the animation. You just get blue flames around you and apply burning to nearby enemies.

edit Note from the wiki: Zealot’s Flame will trigger regardless of weapon used. However, when wielding a torch, you will gain access to the Zealot’s Fire sequence skill as if you had cast Zealot’s Flame from the skill bar. The two versions of the skill use separate cooldown timers, making it possible to use the sequence skill twice in quick succession.

I don’t get that much of burst but my damage and survivability are really good considering I play full zerker with runes of scholar.

Dude… The fact that we like what we see and play doesn’t mean that either we or you are wrong. You can always go back to your normal guard, reaper or whatever…. Personally I tried my DH on every content of the game, always on berseker (PvE) , Marauder (sPvP) and a mix of assassin’s and Valkyrie on WvW and didn’t have any issue at all. On dungeons I’ve been running with melee DH with no problem at all at speed runs with friends. On PvP and WvW I’ve been running with Sword-Shield / Longbow with two traps and didn’t have any issues at all even when outnumbered. It might be just me enjoying the specialisation of my class. You need to be versatile with DH and able to adopt . I would like traps to be ranged but that didn’t bother me from adopting. If you want something easy I’m pretty sure there are other class elites/non elites. I can’t argue that there aren’t some spots that I’d like them to be a bit better but that won’t keep me from playing DH. It’s not shinny but who cares… Underdogs are the best

Got my G600 yesterday and I can say that my first impression is that it is a very well built mouse. I struggle a little to get used to keybinding on it >< but overall pleases as it made my life easier already. Anyone can give me a example of their key binding?

Soooo…. Anyone got one of these or both of them? I want to get a better gaming mouse (using a sharkoon fireglider now ><).

Yes sir… I do know how the trait works and when i try mind crack with the trait equipped and without it i get the same amount of dmg.

I mean when you equip the trait you get the same amount of dmg you had without the trait equipped.

Anyone else having problems with Illusionary Persona? Seems to be bugged

That’s what i use and works pretty fine for group roaming and gvgs or zerg fights.

Are interested into solo play or zerg fights?

Any suggestions over a good roaming build for WvW. I’m mostly interested in power builds but condi builds are also welcomed ^.^ . I was running on knight armor set with cavalier trinkets and zerker weapons , traits are 20/20/0/0/30. Seems good on theory but doesn’t feel good for roaming. It’s most likely for zerg fights.

It’s called waiting a split second before coming out of stealth and using cloak and dagger again, you are only seen for maybe half a sec if that. I’ve done it before, it’s easy in big groups. With the 2 refund initiative trait when stealthing you can do this for days.

You only get the revealed debuff if you damage someone while stealthed.

Also, putting down a smoke field with pistol and heart striking through it 3x will net you stacked stealth duration, so will standing in shadow refuge.

There are a couple ways to “perma stealth” but the smoke field way is actually 100% perma, you will not come out of stealth nor run out of initiative if you trait for it.

how can you keep getting to CnD stealth as you have to hit someone?

Fellow thieves. I would like your help… I currently got to level 80 and I would like some help… While I’m on WvW i see many thieves being on Perma Hide. They use Shadow Refuge after 4-10 secs again. Could someone please provide me with info on how’s that possible? I mean even traited the CD doesn’t fit…. If there’s any possible built i would be pleased to view it.
Or even if someone could provle me with a proper backstab build i would be pleased….!

I’m glad I made it it with my thief finally to 65. Though I’m really confused with what build I should follow after nerfs.I do really like doing damage and surviving… I’m good at hide and seek and like stealth. Please give me a helping hand… About armor stats,trinkets and trait lines.
