BG deserves to be where it stands right now. It has been through a lot, people tried to “kill” it more than one time already, and BG always ended up stronger. Remember season two 2×1 with TC. And OnS going to somewhere else, taking a lot of guilds, and saying that they would kill BG. Ended up killing YB and all the others servers they went to, and BG, again, got out stronger.
Leave BG alone. Don’t poke the bear.

PPl are too casuals that afk , if the difference is more than 80 points .

So, got me some time today and tuned in to watch Sind’s today VOD… first match and its Misha, Sind, Obindo and Thijsken against 5 randoms.
After the MM fiasco last season, I thought it would be improved.
I guess I’m sitting this one out.
Until everybody starts at 600 bronze and climb to the top, the leaderboards will mean absolute nothing. 40-1 is the perfect exemple of how placements matches ruined the principle of a fair competition to the top.
Duo queues and the broken mm.

Being saying that since the beginning. There’s no place for duoQ on an INDIVIDUAL leaderboards system. And besides that, two players coordinating together against a team of full solo queuers have a HUGE advantage, no matter if its on legendary or bronze tier.
If ANet keeps duoQ, they should make it that DuoQ get less points from a victory against a team of solo queuers and lose more when defeated by a team of soloers.
On a serious note, GfknG, Anet. A long-needed action.

Everybody should start from bronze. Anything else is just wrong.
Don’t need any placements matches. Make everybody starts at bronze.
Duo queuers coordinating on TS has a HUGE advantage over a team of solo queuers. If you want to have an individual leaderboard, people should play only by themselves, not in pairs.
Why you lose points when you do exteme great, but your team loses anyway? How does that fits an individual leaderboards?
The gain rating is too small and a team of SoloQ’rs facing a team with one or two duoQ’rs should win more and lose less. That’s common sense.
The way it’s right now, it’s just a grind fest and people abusing duoQ to climb the ladder.
No matter how you put it, it’s a fact that dualQ’rs have an advantage against soloQ’rs. When a team made entire of soloQ’rs faces a team with one or more dualQ’rs, they should win more points and lose less than the other team, otherwise, the leaderboard means absolute nothing when it comes to show player mmr/skill.
As many people already said, SoloQ is just stupid when you lose and win the same as DuoQueuers when facing eachother (full soloQ team vs a team with one or two DuoQ’ers)
If Anet won’t separate full soloQ’rs from DuoQ’rs, at least make it that when in a team of soloq facing a team with duoQ, you win more or lose less points.

The current leaderboard means absolute nothing if you keep facing duos as a solo queuer or basically any different comps between the teams.
About the current state, I can put a video of ROM saying the exacly same thing: queue as a solo is just stupid if you’re aiming for legendary/top.
If you’re not willing to make soloQ fight only other soloQ, at least make that they gain more points when they defeat a team with duoQ, and lose less when defeated by such a team.
Otherwise, your leaderboard means absolute nothing when it comes to a competitive scene.

SoloQ should award more points than DuoQ. It’s just stupid it isn’t already.
Read they made it impossible for people who are not no lifes grinders pro league players to get to legendary. Should be fun.
The quicker you guys stop demonizing servers and guilds and players for wanting to play in a healthy environment the quicker we can come together and help Arena Net figure out the issue.
There isn’t anything wrong with guilds being funded to servers. But what needs to happen is that there need to be regulation and control that can only be given by Arena Net. Servers structures do not do it and Server-links enable it.
Stop embarrassing yourself. You and your now dead bandwagoners alliance caused more damaged and killed more servers than Anet could possible do on their own. People like you are exactly what’s wrong with WvW.
BG shouldn’t be opened. There are at least 3 large guilds wanting to move there and it will just cause a huge imbalance.

Solo q’ers should only play against solo q’ers. Premades should only play against premades. You don’t need to exclude premades from ranked, just make sure they only fight other premades. They’ll have longer queues? Probably, because most people play solo, but at least let they’ll have the choice.
S1 pip system was the best. MM, not so much.
Can only work if the team that gave up don’t get any reward at all, otherwise people would just queue with a 5 premade and give up within 10 seconds of the start of the match to farm the points and silver.
Dont care about anything else, just bring S1 matchmaking back. S3 matchmaking was a joke.
Well, that’s this season’s matchmaking in a nutshell. That guy is probably right, the match was decided before it even begins.
No offense dude, but you´re not even r80. It´s quite expectable that you will have a tough time in pvp since there are lots(!!!) of players that have like 10 times your experience. It looks like working as intended since you put a lot of effort into getting diamond(400 games). I guess 50% winrate isn´t bad for a r69. So why this thread?

Anyway, I’ve literally thousands of hours of roaming in WvW and got to diamond in S1 in less than 200 games, which was, literally, the first time I’ve ever set my feet on PVP. And, no offense dude, but the PVP in this game is pretty straight forward, shouldn’t take anyone more than like 50 games to figure things out, like rotations, ideal comps, expected roles etc.
The problem here is not just a “l2p” issue or anything, I didn’t start playing this game yesterday or anything. The problem here, plain and simple, is the system fixing matches to artificially achieve a 50/50 win/loss ratio. That’s it. Instead of seeking balanced matches, which would result in a 50/50 win/loss ratio on the long run, they achieved it by fixing matches, where the outcome is decided before it even begins.
And if you guys stop for a moment and start to pay attention, you’ll see that’s not just me that noticed that. Besides the many topics here, try to say smt about the matchmaking in a match. You’ll find a lot of people there that noticed that as well.

…and it was the worst experience I’ve ever had in a MMO. By far.
Look, I’m all in for the ideia of seeking a 50/50 outcomes results, but not in the way it’s been done this season.
Instead of matches where every side have a 50% chance of winning, so in the long run we would’ve approximately a 50% win ratio, you achieved this ratio with blowouts matches. In one match my team would win by far, and in the next, I’d lose by far. And both were boring as hell.
It got to the point where people would know in the first fight which team they were (the winning or losing team) and if it were the losing team, they could just chill and afk for the rest of the match, because the results were setting before the match even started.
Look at my statistics, that would be awesome if most of the games weren’t boring blowouts. Please, fix your matchmaking. 50% win ratio means nothing if it’s achieved like that.
