I prefer names that fit the lore and game, since I like to feel immersed. It’s impossible these days, of course, since the maturity level of players couldn’t get any lower.

So, sorry, I don’t find many of these to be “best” by a long shot.

Some are marginally amusing but the thing is, they reflect the fact that the people that the people who create them don’t care about the game, or the genre, or the effect they have on other players.

We all know of the infamous Mike Hawk and Mike Hunt references . but the one that takes the cake is obviously Dixie Normous .

May ranger has a carrior Devourer called Rocktail Jr, and sometimes a pet eagle called Eddy.

I saw a pair of Charr working together… One was named Ihavehairballs and the other was Heymetoo.

When I come across characters named like this I am just confused. I can’t figure out why they lack an understanding of the difference between humorous and annoying.

Immature names would be like xxximsexydienooblolxxx which would be the immature players.

Joke names such as thieven stealburg are the creative original ones that do like to fun around and have a good time. I myself have one character i named just for giggles would be Eric Charrtman. Anytime i get someone getting the name i usually get compliments on it only had 2 complaints which were 2 kitten rpers.

In my book the annoying names would be japanese/anime names. Or names that have brony in it. You aren’t original and creative just because you watch inyuasha or some other dumb cartoon (Yes cartoon), or how you need to announce your a brony ever minute.

You deal with quitters alot? Be the host and use gw2lfg site if you need more people.

Princess Pretty Face (cat in queensdale) – I had to name my great white shark that.
Baron Von Scrufflebutt (golem you kill in fractals) – I always feel bad killing him.

Yogi Dabeir – Friends Norn Guardian – I often name my bears after him.
Battlemuffin – Pink Moa (yes mine but I like him)
Steve – Blue moa – I don’t know why but for some reason I found this funny.
Alex Dumbface – Ice Drake (I put this on in reference to my fiance)

Saw a red Sylvari Elementalist girl named Cayennabelle.
Saw a Norn Warrior named Rockbutt Thunderface running around with a Norn Guardian named Rockface Thunderbutt.

I named my Asura Thief Alt “Wobbly Head”, was pleasantly surprised that it was not taken yet.

Also, a guy in my ex-guild names his toons as “I Am Ironing My <insert animal here>”. I know atleast of two of his toons using Cat and Dog in the name.
