Would like to add to the report that Sanctum of Rall Frozen Maw event is bugged again.

Afaik it only bugs out when Brogun dies at the Totem Event before the Champion spawns. So probably its best to check between those 2 events.

Was wondering if it would be possible to reset/refresh the server transfer tomorrow? Coming January 28 the transfers would be paid and I still got some of my friends who just recently transferred on the wrong server locked out cause they have transferred recently and our server population increased just few days ago.

Agreed. It looks like the Male guardians having bowel problems while using Empower.

While the new addition is a welcome as one user posted back then it’s still open for exploits.

Here are some of the scenarios and questions regarding the Breakout Event:

-Break Out Events are special WvW events that will happen when a team has lost control of all defensive structures, not counting supply camps.

Let say Blue almost capped one border and just left one Red and Green tower. Blue just prevents Red and Green from reinforcing the tower and not killing the lord/veteran in it. Blue will just “hostage” the last 2 towers .Will the Break out Events Fail to start?

-An NPC commander will appear in the team’s start area and an event will start that prompts players to gather around. Once enough players are in the commander’s presence he will summon his trusty dolyak to give all allies in the area full supply.He will then lead the charge to the nearby objective and give players protection and assist with building siege to assault the objective with. Those benefits, along with a defensive boon that he applies to all nearby allies, makes the attacking players a force to be reckoned with

The biggest question is How Many Players? What if it’s not one world primetime and only a handful are online versus a Massive zerg on standby?Does the NPC computes the ratio between the attacking force and the defending force?

How’s the AI on th NPC commander? What are his priorities? Does he prioritize attacking a player or assisting in building siege kits? Does he revive downed/defeated players? What are his immunities and the Boons he gives out? If by chance a massive zerg roll stomped the NPC and killed it does the NPC disappears or you can still revive it? If you can revive it does it have a timer on how long you can revive the NPC?( A scenario wherein the zerg just guards the dead NPC body preventing everyone to revive it.) If you can’t revive the NPC does the Event restarts immediately ?

My friends and I are recruiting SEA/OCEANIC casual players to do WvW and occasional dungeon runs. Most of us are from Asia-Pacific region (GMT+8 – GMT+10, Singapore,Philippines,Guam,Australia and South Korea.) and active nightly (8pm-12pm GMT+10). We are located at Sanctum of Rall Server (North America).

We also have guild buffs (Karma,MF etc) and teamspeak server. We only have one Rule that is to respect everyone and be mature. I know there’s occasional teasing but you must know when to stop.

Have you tried removing your USB headset or any other USB device plugged in? Only the Keyboard and Mouse? Turn off UAC as well? Also did the latency occured in Win 7? How many Hops did the tracert do btw?

Thanks!. Did you use Logitech own drivers or Windows 8 drivers? You might want to look at this. Check chevell’s updated post. Drivers might be the issue so you might either want to uninstall all the Keyboard drivers and follow his step.

You might wanna check your router and forward the necessary ports.

Game is only using DX9. As other stated it might be different color profile.

If you also read the Author’s Note (Check your link). Pretty sure it’s safe. Also using it.

Have you tried cleaning your laptop? Blowing compressed air to the vents to clean out some dust. Check also if the vents doesn’t have clogs. You can also try Nvidia Inspector and Enable Multi Display Power Saver. Check my attachment for reference.

Either save and go for Intel. Pretty much AMD is lagging in its CPU department. Afaik you can get the i5-3570k for 200$ + some z75 or z77 boards for 70~80$.

Have you also tried updating the router’s firmware?

It’s updating the .exe that’s why windows asking for your permission. It’s the same for Vista,Win 7 & Win 8. If you want you can turn off or throttle down UAC (User Access Control) in the Control Panel. Press Windows Button(Win Logo )+ X for shortcut.

Don’t use IE. Download either chrome or firefox set it as the default browser. If you can’t check Internet Option settings and enable compatibility option (Set it to IE9 compatibility mode).

If you’re having game lag it’s either Anet Server’s lagging or check your ISP connection to the server. Do a tracert “A-netserver IP” (Ex c:\tracert 123.56.10.1) instead of a simple ping. Check in between hops if there’s a sudden spike or lost connection.

Edit : Btw I’m also on Windows 8 x64 no problems as well.

Well based on some reading it’s related to driver. If you can check 295.73 or 296.10 drivers as well? and try to reseat memory / GPU? check for power issue as well.

If you have a spare videocard you can also try that as well. If you’re running any other program either shut it down (TS/Vent/Mumble/Gamebooster etc) so we could isolate more.

Try to disable UAC and perform a clean install (Try using 306.97?) . You can also check this thread.

Try :

1.Go to Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Event Viewer > Windows Logs> System > Filter Logs with Critical/Warning and Errors. Look for any Errors relating to reboots or View your BSOD with Blue screen viewer check the latest BSOD and such.

It can also help if you can attach your dxdiag here so we could gather info on what computer specs you have.

As for me FPS is the same other reported 1-5fps gain/loss so it might be related to drivers. Windows 8 just boots faster vs 7 (For me with SSD).

Revert back to 306.xx. You’re using 310.33 it’s a buggy driver.

Can you check your event logs? See if anything driver related might have cause the lock up. Also what anti virus are you using? Is UAC turned on as well?

Have you check both GPU and CPU loads? Update driver perhaps?

Might be driver issue or conflict. Why not power both monitor with your GTX670 rather than split them? You can also try using 306.97 and perform a clean install for the driver.

I would stay away from 310.33 been a buggy beta driver. Try reverting it back to 306.97. Also have you tried vsync or limit your fps?

What map are you in? If it’s Lion’s Arch Center Hub with the Mad King event you’ll definitely experience a drop in FPS since almost everyone gathered around MK.

I have been running GW2 on Windows 8 both consumer and release previews and haven’t had issue on installing them. Try to disable UAC and check your firewall settings.

You might want to post what dell model? Some Pre-Built PC (specially dell) aren’t made for gaming.
