There were comments in a recent video to the effect that they are already thinking about allowing stories to diverge per-server in the future, http://www.eurogamer.pt/videos/entrevista-game-designer-guild-wars-2 . You can skip to about 1m30s into it for Colin’s comment.

Would be nice to have a way to mark your main character for a guild, so people know who you are on your alt, other people in the guild tend to remember your character over your account name.

Having it show in the tool tip when hovering over the name in guild chat would be necessary too.

Well, you can fight mobs in an airship during the personal story, does that count?

They did between BWE1 and BWE2, but I can’t think of another instance.

You can check for yourself in-game next time you have damaged armor… mouse over the shield next to your health orb and your 6 skill.

“When all pieces are damaged, you will begin to lose effectiveness.”

You can also bind a key to stow weapons.

I owned EoTN, but had never visited it until after GW2 started. I had the 3 items available in GW2’s HoM even before I went with my GW1 character to the place and therefore before I had anything up in there.

3 Mystic Forge Stones, not coins. You can get them randomly for map completion, I think from Black Lion Chests, or most readily directly from the gem store.

Also, you can check the wiki to make sure of a recipe, and yes, they have to be unused kits (they list durability, not amount, you can’t split them into separate stacks, etc)

I spent a long while the other day with my mesmer, just portal-ing people into the final chamber straight from the entrance… Also if you step back from the stone a bit after bringing up the dialog, you’re close enough to the entrance to have no load screen.

It’s actually a good bit more complex than that actually, but red, green, and blue are what the human eye detects to make other colors perceptible at any rate.

The pre-events can’t just be started by a player whenever, those are what’re on the timer, not just the dragons.

Would be nice if one of the timer sites would start listing other world bosses, like the Shadow Behemoth, etc. too. You can still get rares off those as well.

re: no support class

The game is not rewarding dedicated support, no; but each player should be supporting the other party members at least part of the time.

I’ve got a few in my block list because of gold spamming, also nice that i can nickname them goldspammer in my block list so i remember why they’re blocked…

Most studies I’ve looked at go only as high as: 5-6% for men, and 0.35-0.4% for women, for deuteranomaly (red-green weakness, to varying degrees) anyway. For full-on red-green colour blindness (deuteranopia), the percentage is only ~1% for men 0.1% for women.

Condition Damage is already there, hover the cursor over Attack.

There’s been some speculation from a statement in the strategy guide that there are hidden bonuses to magic find by partying, but it’d still be nice to at least see the cumulative magic find bonus from equipment/food/nutrition/banner buffs anyway.

Same or similar applies to Opera, any page that has a link to an individual post in the URL (i.e. #post-blahblah at the end), hitting back just makes the page reload.

For the city ones in Lion’s Arch, you can tell where they go by who’s guarding them as well. (seraph, wolfblood, wardens, etc) It would be nice to get some of the things mentioned here though.

I know this happens if you were logged off due to inactivity and go straight back in. In that case it’s fixed by restarting the game client.

If that didn’t happen, you could still try restarting; but I don’t know how effective it would be.

Well, here’s my entry…

You should be able to make a new thief with the same starter gear, and transmute it with that character onto a blue or white head gear. It should still say soulbound, but should allow your character to transmute that one onto the gear with the stats you want anyway.

Unless something’s changed in a recent patch (and someone speak up if it has…) it should work out fine.

If you’ll read that error message, you’ll see that it does not host malware, it is simply not categorized and your ISP is being overzealous.

Check your login screen? Do you remember who your mentor is? Tybalt? Sieran? Kernsson?
You can look at the wiki to see which is for which order.

If you’ve joined a different order, your option is to level another character and have them join the order of whispers, transmute the armor you want onto a blue or white non-soulbound piece of equipment, log into your charr and transmute it onto the armor with the actual stats you want.

A public portal to the Chantry of Secrets right in Lion’s Arch?

there’s a really nice little bed and breakfast in lion’s arch, it’s a bit out of the way, but pretty good service, they have great food there too, especially the apple pie

vigil and priory I can imagine would be fine with making HQ/LionsArch portals
alternatively, seeing as we can get into the chantry via the gates from fort trinity, why not just let everyone use the gates in the chantry? you do command their forces after all, so they obviously trust you enough for that

another idea would be to make a portal in LA directly to fort trinity, lorewise, it could be for use by all pact members (much like the mist gates for public use), not just high ranking ones

A portal there would make a decent amount of sense, I was mostly joking about replacing the mist portals with order ones.

Would be nice with the Mesmer’s Spatial Surge ability (great sword 1) to know what tier of damage I’d do.

There’s no reason you can’t simply keep such items in your bag…

When you join the USN at least, they take the cost of your uniform from your first paycheck. They do give you a uniform allowance once a year in your pay, good luck if it covers what you need though.

4 exotic of the same kind only gives a chance of the legendary precursor, it’s not guaranteed. There’s a video on youtube of someone trying 28 exotic greatswords, and ended up without the precursor at all.

Hm, I thought of something just from the title that I think would be nice… Have an option for people in parties to all transfer to the same waypoint for a reduced cost.

My experience is probably not statistically significant, but it seems like it’s iterating through sell orders/buy orders at a price point, and filling out parts of them before stepping to the next one.

Ah, yes. I keep forgetting the original 5% fee is not apparent after the sale either. Your total profit was 17 silver, but only if you remember the original fee.

The separate instances on the rune for how many you have are cumulative, not overriding the previous ones.

There’s a 10% sales tax from the seller on a successful sale, aside from the initial 5% listing fee. There’s been a lot of clamor asking for the trading post to be more up front about it, but afaik, no actual word from ANet as of yet.

Currently, you can check the article on the wiki about it, the mention of the tax stands out fairly well near the top of the page.

20*.85=17, so that’s how much you should have gotten from it, not the 18 you say.

I don’t see how that is any different from what I did. I simply multiply the listed sale price by .85 (i.e. 100%-15%). This takes into account the listing fee in addition to the 10% tax in one simple calculation.

It seems he have some wrong calculations

Example – you buy 100 coriander seeds for 1 silver
total cost = 1g

If you sell those seeds for 1s 50c each
total proceeds are 1g 50s and gross profit is 50 silver
however listing price is 7s 50c (5% of 1g 50s)
sales tax is 15s (10% of 1g 50s)
net profit 27s 50c and total received is 1g22

you pay 7.5s listing fee.
your account is now -7.5s.
Sale tax is 15. You sold item, received 150-15=135s from TP.
Add to your account 135+(-7.5)=127.5s

I think they accidentally subtracted the net profit from total proceeds (122.5s) and rounded.

Only 10% of the cut is hidden. The other 5% is the initial listing fee.

You posted it for 3g10s, with a 15s50c listing fee or so (5%)

After it sold, there was a 10% selling fee taken from it (31 silver)

Leaving you with exactly 2 gold and 79 silver.

Yup, without magic find, you have a the standard chance, whatever it may be.

At 100%, you have twice that chance.

If you get to 200% via full MF gear, nourishment, food, guild flag buff, etc. You’ll have 3x the normal chance.

The only reason I want an inspect feature is for if I don’t recognize a piece of armor or weapon… I’ve asked several people about a weapon they had, and got no response… The alternative would be to screenshot and ask here or some other gw2 forum.

The rest of what’s being asked for (armory, etc) I couldn’t care less about.
