one of these days websites like mos.millenium, gw2wvw, wvwintel, will start shutting down their wvw coverage just like ESL did with spvp.

I hope those sites get some financial compensation because I’ve seen gw2 ads on there lots of times.

let me see if I got this right:

1. Raids have a cool down, you can only do a Raid once per week.
2. For completing a raid you get a chest. a chest that contains 13 Legendary Insights.
3. you need 125 Legendary Insights to craft all 6 pieces of the legendary armor (among other things).

that’s a total of 9.5 weeks just to get all 125. is that right?
and yeah Legendary is suppose to be something hard to get, but whats the logic behind the cool-down on raids; Time Required = Challenging Content?
yet another reason why I dont want to do Raids.

I was waiting for the other SAB glider, anyone know if they’re going to bring it back?

Speaking of Dailies. iirc, there is a cap of 15k Achievement Points that you can get through dailies. is that correct?
I was just curious what happens after you reached the cap. do you still get the dailies options on your top right? I have almost 19k AP. and most of them have come from dailies.

1. The ability to choose between twilight and sunrise skins on my Eternity. I want to use Twilight skin during the day, and sunrise during the night.

2. The ability to obtain all materials for a legendary through any game mode.

~10 hours of playing wvw just to get an item for a legendary?

that’s literally nothing compared to the time a WvWer has to spend in PvE just to get all the items for a legendary.

I wish I could get a legendary without going to PvE.

Anet if you’re going to bring back the desert borderlands, can you please give us more Variety of waypoints example:

Guild Waypoint: only members of a guild can use a waypoint.
Personal Waypoint: your very own personal waypoint. 15-30 min cooldown.
Party/Squad Waypoint: only people in the squad can use a waypoint.
Scout Waypoint: a waypoint that only scouts can create/open.
dolyak Waypoint: Commanders can hide a waypoint in a dolyak, if it reaches it’s destination it creates, a wp, at the supply depot, ready to be used when necessary. (one time use).

or at least increase the running speed to 40% or something. those desert borderlands are just too big, to walk/run. that’s my main issue with them, I like the design and everything else, but sheesh! not fun at all when you have to walk 5 mins to defend something.

1. Population Balance.
2. Bring back Alpine BL.
3. Stability/skill balance.
a) do not bring back the old stability (too strong) but do not leave it the way it is (too weak)
4. Rewards/Ranks
a) Reward Track ( I would love to get a legendary without being Force to do PVE, PVP)
b) a way to show your wvw rank, like armor, symbols or titles.

5. Scoring

there was no Wexp/ranks
there was no wall in garrison that prevented you from trebbing bay.
there was no limit of the number of people that could use a port.
ET and HoD were in t1.
no EoTM.
no arena in OS.
no ascended armor.

during the first fight starting at 1:17 the guy recording was never with out Stability for more than 3 seconds. through out that whole battle which lasted a good 2 minutes. the guy was never knocked down, feared, stunt, pulled, pushed, etc, etc.
meaning that all the CC skills on that “100 man blob” failed.

I gotta say, Stability was OP before but now is Super Weak.
nowadays 95% of CCs work, so you cant even move or use any skills during a battle.
I think there needs to be a middle ground, where both CCs and Stability are effective.

crashed 4 times in less than 1 hour, I have Never crashed so many times in so little time.

they should make Obsidian Sanctum available for Guesting, I think the Arena there is bigger and better for GvGs. or Just to have another option, if people don’t want to use the guild hall arena. like for example if two guilds from t1 wanted to gvg, one could Guest to ETand the other can go to DR/FC, from there they can press B and go to OS and OS only.

Welcome to my world this has happened to me countless of times, keeps/towers/smc.
I even sent a ticket/bug report to Anet but no response.
Since Anet won’t comment on the issue I am starting to think that there is a limit to how many towers and keeps you can take per day.

it would be nice if they use the old borderlands for a new game mode like, AvAvA or something similar.

I am also on ET, and I am just waiting for HoT and this new map they’re implementing, hopefully they do something about the population imbalance, like server mergers, free/cheaper transfering costs, different matchup system.

remove WXP from capturing an objective in eotm.
give them karma.
give them badges.
give them gold.
give them everything else except WXP.
WXP should come from player kills only, in eotm.

make a borderland with just Stone Mist and a camp, reduce the player cap to 30-40 people, and put a Supply Generator where SM is right now.

Speaking of wvw Ideas what if we had one day out of the week to have 3 hour long matches. Any server any tier for just 3 hours. For one day?

I play wvw on ET and for the last 2+ years I still haven’t seen a a single Dev/player with that Anet Guild Tag.

Here is my idea for wvw ranks, I apologize in advance if this already has been mentioned before.

Make a rank reward track kind of like the Achievement reward track, for every 500 ranks you get wvw account bonuses.

Rank 500: +1% badges earn in wvw
+1% gold earn in wvw
Special wvw weapon skin

Rank 1000: +1% exp earn in wvw
+ 2 gold
special wvw armor skin

Rank 1500: (insert reward here)
+2gold
Special wvw weapon skin.

For every 2500 Ranks you get a “Massive Achievement” reward.

Rank 2500: + 1% wvw exp
+ 400 gems
+ 30 gold
+ 10 laurels
This will need some fixes but hopefully you get the idea.

I wish I could spend badges+karma+ascended material to get dungeon tokens.
I spend 98% of my time in wvw 2% in spvp.
2+ years playing this game and I have never done a dungeon.
I am trying to get that legendary shield but I need 500 ascalonian tears.
I guess legendary weapons were not made for wvw players like myself.

for what its worth here is my two cents on how to improve/fix wvw.

add the ppt from EoTM to the current wvw match.

example, in EoTM your server color is ticking at +70, in your current match your server is ticking at +200, add them together to get the total PPT, for your server in your current match. = +270.

example 2, in EoTM Green loses a Keep (worth 25 pts) then all Green Servers lose 25 points to their current PPT.

this will encourage people to defend their staff in EoTM, and essentially EoTM will become everyone’s fifth map.
with a system like this there wont ever be a server ticking at +0 thanks to their EoTM allies.

yeah, and because of this we know who is #1 in wvw, but what server is #1 in sPvP?

there is PvE, sPvP and WvW.
not all servers are wvw-oriented, some are more into PvE and others sPvP, if the servers were ranked by sPvP then I doubt SoR, BG, and JQ would be at the top.

I think there should be some kind of system that rewards the whole server for their Overall performance this includes PvE, sPvP and WvW.

SoR/JQ/BG would dominate the WvW rankings, but they would lack sPvP and PvE points therefore I think they would be at the bottom of the Overall rankings.
Anvil Rock for example would Lack the wvw covarage but would probably dominate the sPvP rankings, and who knows maybe Eredon Terrace/Ferguson’s Crossing are big PvE servers and would probably dominate the PvE rankings.

I think the server that has a little bit of everything would come out on top, not just a server that is wvw-oriented.
of course it all comes down to server population but, can a server that is wvw-oriented have a PvE/sPvP community that is bigger than another whole server that is PvE/sPvP oriented?

I agree, this is SoR, and after that speech, SoR went out there and won the match (Twice now). but what now?
I was one of those Kaineng guys, who had never been to t1, and was fighting hard to get there, but stuff happens and kaineng started losing people, so I transfer with my guild to BG and that same week, we won the match, but then I asked myself what now?
we won, we got the gold, I celebrated and all that stuff, but what should one do after they take down the “champion”? I guess being the underdog is better than being the “Top Dog” when I was in Kaineng I was inspired by those motivational speeches like the one mentioned to fight and to never give up, but after you go out there and win it all, and you have it all, what else is there to do?
kudos to JQ (and SoS) for being #1 for all those weeks in a row. is this what defines a true champion? by defending your Crown/Belt.

just look at that website and the Tiers, don’t worry about the colors right next to their names for now. all the servers that are number one on their respective tiers are green.
for example, in Tier 1 Sea of Sarrows is number one, and is green.
in Tier 2 Storm Bluff Isle is number one so they are green.
in Tier 3 Crystal Dessert is number one and they are green, etc. etc.
the blue color belongs to the servers that are second on their respective tiers.
and red is for 3rd. place. good luck.

according to this, RUIN just transfer to BG, I dont know if you’re all familiar with RUIN but thats close to a 1000 players going to BG. I can already see it in the score so far, never before have I seen BG dominate T2 this much just after 3-4 days.

if this is true, then maaan! BG is a monster of a server. gonna be interesting to see this battle for top spot.

why not join the Last server on the last tier?

what if the two biggest guilds on two servers join forces by jumping to the last server;
usually the last server is the one with the least w3 population.

I would love to read on the forums something like:
“guild ‘Logitech’ [LT] (just an example, looking at my keyboard, lol) would like to form an alliance with any other guilds out there by jumping to the last server”

these would have to be some big guilds like 100+ members, and that are mostly w3 oriented. that way they can make the last server a little more competitive against top servers.
I have seen some servers battle each other (specially bottom tier servers) for as long as I can remember.
if you want to move up in the rankings I suggest joining forces.
but that’s just my opinion and a suggestion. thx for reading and would like to read your Ideas/suggestions/comments/ on this.

Yes thieves do a lot of damage and that’s ok with me, I dont care if I am left with 10% of my HP after just one hit, but please, please, let us target them. in other MMOs thieves/shadowreavers (whatever you want to call them) do a lot of damage also, but they lose their stealth after attacking.

and another thing.
Fix the frozen loading screen on sPvP, after being killed. >.<
