So I revisited the stats and, no, they do not encompass an L80 head piece and an L80 shoulder piece. If they did they would need the following ADDED to the head piece (cowl) which encompasses two pieces:

- Defense needs to be increased
- Bases stats x2 (precision, toughness, condition damage)
- 2 upgrade slots

If these stats are not increased, then it is only ONE PIECE OF ARMOR.

Essentially, med and heavy armor sets are a full set, but light armor wearers get only a partial set.

Also, the cowl needs to encompass both slots so this item cannot be used in conjunction with other items.

If it is only a cosmetic set (aka skin) then it should be priced lower as it provides no additional value.

Why does heavy and leather armor have shoulders and light armor does not? Why do you think I do not need shoulders or am I supposed to go without the gear?

Do not tell me that ’that’s the way the armor is supposed to look’ because that is a cop-out reason to make my already squishy char to be squishier.

Pass this on to the designer/developers and lets get this fixed.

Unable to obtain the Hoelbrak Map completion because Knut Whitebear’s lodge is taking me to the Hero Canton in Black Citadel.

At first I loved this event! It was awesome, chaotic and thrilling. Even the overflows had invasions going on so I didn’t care if I was in an overflow or not. With the last update invasions no longer occur in the overflow.

How the heck am I supposed to complete the title if I am constantly being put into overflow where there are no events?

Shame on you Anet! You need to seriously rethink the overflow if you can’t provide the same experience.

The underwhelming aspect is that if you are in overflow, you’re screwed out of the display, the head piece, etc.

Not cool Anet.

EDIT: I love the fireworks tho

I went to talk to the scouts in Fort Trinity and they showed me where the hearts should be but they do not appear on my map.

Sadly, I did not see this post prior to purchasing the Total Makeover Kit. But below is my experience:

On the Sylvari, I have tried to change the Body Features > Skin Pattern > Glow Intensity modifier and it never takes. The ability to change it is available indicated by the slider being maneuverable.

When selecting another feature to modify, whether the feature is located in Body Features, Head Options, or Face Details, the slide bar always reverts back to the far left indicating that the previous changes made are not kept.

This can be closed. There’s already a bug report open on this issue.

I am having the same problem. Once I log in the graphics are slow to load this includes character (see only backpack or staff), items going into backpack, game freezes momentarily and then continues.

I am not having these problems with other games, websites, or intranet in general.

I agree, the Mad King event was more fun. For me, I found the NPCs in Wintersday and the Lost Shores too OP. I can’t solo the stuff in Wintersday, there is no auto-party function like in the Mad King.

Same problem. My launcher is stuck at 99% with 4 files remaining. And it took at least a couple of hours to get to this state. Ironically, I just downloaded a patch on another game within minutes.

Question: Was there a problem with the patching server today or a stress test going on? Just curious as this could affect my issue.

Please increase the time between spawns.

One example is that I was in Fireheart Rise killing elementals and as soon as I killed one, another one spawned immediately. It doesn’t add enjoyment to the game because I am killing the same elemental over and over again and I don’t feel like I’m contributing to putting an end to a problem described in my Renown “Clean up the Flame Legion magic”.

I have found that the spawn rates in general over the world map is too high.

Not sure this is an audio bug or a video bug.

During the cut scene the Priory’s ‘solo’ is spoken, but you can’t see the Priory rep. The Vigil rep steals his scene.

Dialog from Crusader Thurkill who speaks his line, “That’s how the Vigil handles those who kill our soldiers and trifle with dragons. Vyacheslav and all who stand with him must die.”

The scene does not change for the Priory to speak his piece, but I can hear the Priory voice although the words on the screen do not reflect the Priory, they still show Crusader Thurkill (what I wrote above).

I have had a problem with the transmutation stones, regular and fine, with weapons and armor.

I’ve transmuted with HOM items without a problem, but the stones won’t transmute even though the items are the same (i.e. both items were cloth chest, staffs, etc. except in appearance.

Unfortunately I haven’t heard any news on when or if this will be fixed.

The audio in Sabotage cutscene is all messed up. There are Vigil rep speaks the Durmand Priory’s first part (Vigil rep uses DP voice), Eir gets stuck and doesn’t move at all, some parts are not spoken.

It sounds like your video card is overheating. Verify the fans are working and if you can up the fan speed or replace the video card.

I am having the same problem.

We get to Icebrood killed: 12/13 and the only ice corrupters spawn, but no real brood. The count never increases to 13 so the Veteran Corrupted Ice Elemental never spawns and the event never finishes.

I had to do this quest 4 times to get it to finish. I would’ve saved myself a lot of time if I had read this post first.

If after the 3rd wave nothing spawns for a minute or two, then re-enter. (I waited 15+ minutes waiting for undead to spawn.)
