I like it, good find the dual proffesion thing isn’t neccasarily just a mechanic. The reason we are all one proffesion was explained by magic in general gaining in strenght so the one proffesion based classes were a lot stronger by itself.

I can understand that when someone has all the time in the world one doesn’t have to be limited to just training in one form of magic but can sufficiantly become master in more than one. Besides, if she is livia then the dual proffesion thing would be with her from the start.

A bit offtopic but the text in the posted picture looks alot like krytan but wouldn’t be more logical to be in orrian? I remember a dev posting about an orrian alphabet but that it wasn’t implemented. Also has anyone ever translated what it says?

On mesmer start stomping use skill 2 on staff to port back and then blink back to scarlet just before the animation finishes. Havn’t tried it after the recent patch but that’s how i did it first time around.

I play on fsp aswell and I dont experience it as toxic. Sure there are some trolls but not to the extend you seem to be exposed to. Maybe its the time you play at but primetime seems pretty alright. Could be related to the current event where people are grouped up in zerg/citizen savers and afkr’s.

The living world tracker updated after i finished the marionette. Make sure you cath up with logan before hes done talking to Majory because after that he runs out of the instance. The rest stays there and can be conversed with after the’re done talking to each other. Nice little instance that gives some more info on the underlying relationships. The handholding and staring at the sea was a kitteneesy tho ;p

You need 50 power core components to open the door. Once used it dissapears from your inventory but you’ll be able to open the door without it. The chipers are needed for the chests inside the room, there are 5 in total which drop some random goodies and a page from scarletts diary. You need al 5 notes to be able to enter the final cipher and this will probably progress the sory/ show you a movie.

Yup, the buy orders are high because the selorders are high 2. Last time i checked the lvl 20 char greatsword of force was around 5g, now if The buy orders are around 2g They can make a decent amount of profit. The fact that i was able to sell the weapon I accidentely bought within the hour shows that it is a common mistake which people can abuse to make profit. My guess would be that we will see this will happen alot more when a new profession/ race is realeased.

Easely explained. It relies on the fact that alot of people make mistakes. I had it happen when i was lvling an alt and buying lvl 40 gear. I clicked the buy button at the same time i noticed it was listed for 3g. luckely i was able to repost it for the same price as I bought it (minus fees) and it sold within the hour which implies that its an mistake easely made. Most of the times the first item that shows up when searching for a green weapontype of a certain lvl is pretty expensive just for this reason. For instance the char greatsword of force at lvl 40-45.

If I understand you right then the awnser is no. You only get the last skinn applied and a standard exotic. I transmuted the dead stop over the sclerite and thought to split them so i can use the sclerite on a different weapon. Sadly that dosn’t work like that… Wish i tested that before i bought 5 splitters -_-

Ether skills might not even be the use of magic itself but more a manipulation of the medium itself to alter the flow of magic in the area. A bit like spirit weapons are only part magic and part communing with spirits.

Ether is the stuff that up untill Einstein was believed to be what filled outer space. The tought was that light needed some form of medium to move through like waves in a pond need water. Projecting that idea onto tyria it would not so much be the magic but the medium that magic needs to be transmitted.

So if magic became stronger since gw1 then the dragons havn’t been doing much since they have awoken. I would assume that their magic consumption would have made a dent in the total amount of magic in the world but apparantly its still on the rise.

Nice fights going on on FR border only a few hours in but i’m already liking it.

Try mesmer, it is highly adaptable for different kind of playstyles. I play shut down mostly now which is great fun dont expect a lot of loot in zerg combat tho since tagging multiple enemies can be tricky.

On aside note. Has anyone started plotting the do not touch devices on the world map? I have a feeling they might line up towards something. Would explain why they are here without anything in the update notes.

True, but they have been completly absent in the last 250 years. Which still can be considered ‘recent’. I personally would really like the idea of the inquest using some form of magitech to rip apart one of the human gods as it would add a dark undertone to the inquest as a whole. Lyssa’s death scream would certainly silence the gods for a while

The inquest seem to be looking for ways to atain power. What if the Thaumova reactor was an attempt to drain the power of the human gods and when that blew up (and the gods disapeared) they tried the next best thing. The elder dragons in the Eternity coil.
I base this on absolutly nothing, just a rondom thought

No, you were speculating on the items becoming something more expensive due to the change and it didn’kittens not the games fault that you failed to put in the research in the items you were flipping.

You have to time it. Once in a while a slow log at the start will spawn which will be overtaken by a faster log when it reaches your characters eye lvl. This is the window you want for it allows you to almost keep going to the other side. At the forth log you might have to wait a sec for the 5th quick log if your fast

I was halfway in world 2 zone 2 in tribulation mode (at ninja) wich took me quit a while to get to when i got an invite from some guildies. I accepted the invite to tell them i was busy after wich they kicked me cause they couldn’t get into SAB themself. At this point i got kicked from the instance… 2 hours of frustrating progress gone because the mechanic doesn’t work proparly.. Please fix this or make invites into party inpossible when your in trib mode..

You survive that drop? I’ve done it 4 times in the last couple of days and everytime I do I just continue my fall inside the instance and die :p

Maybe it just transports matter. We know it doesn’t transport enery waves or else we would be able to see trough the other side. If this is the way it works it would also prevent the transfer of the kinetic energy and so wind from blowing through or heat being transfered. Come to think of it it would probably need to disasemble the matter on one side and reasemble an exact copy on the other side or else the lack okittenetic energy would render you very flat on the other side since your movement of walking trough would be stopped :/ hmmz this needs some more thought..

Also, what would you use to hunt giant mice/rats… Giant cats might do the trick

so far i got an event ticket in every previous event in an fairly reasonable time/ moneyframe. This event… went trough around 1500 regular chest and 60 euros in rich chests (yeah i know i have a problem) and nothing. last time for me that I try to go for one of these tickets.. wel done anet you just lost a customer that was actually willing to spend money besides the initial purchase..

Thnx, thats actually a good idea. Instead of searching for a new build an update might work better. Especially since i like the idea behind glamours and the confusion pressure helps in affecting the flow of the battle.

I could really use some help with ideas about what i can do with my condition dmg gear. I used to run glamour mesmer in wvw (and enyoing it but since the nerf im just not feeling it anymore. I’ve been looking into other builds but sofar al of them requiere a respec in gear. Armour and all is doable but al the ascended trinkets are not so easy to replace. I like running clone builds in pvp ( props to seven mirrors for the builds) but in wvw i prefer some more aoe to break up zergs.
Any help on the direction i need to search for a new build, without needing full gear respec, is greatly appreciated

Might be tied in to the atlas dude in the legendary hamer juggernaut ( pre cursor is called colossus). At least that is what i like to think

Currently stuck at 96kb and downloading with 0kb/s.. Guildie of mine had the same problem and he recommended starting/restarting untill I get some speed.
