Hey there, I’ve been playing GW2 for quite awhile now but so far I haven’t made a ranger. Seeing this new update kinda brought me closer to making one due to the insane buff on rapid fire. Plus I love animals (idk y i didnt play this class in the first place).

I was always wanting to main ranger, however, people prefer mesmer/guard/warrior (holy trinity) for speed clear runs and open world content. Is there any build or viability to make them a part of the Holy Quadrinity? (lol)

Last two questions: how fun is ranger and will they be seeing a nerf (yes, referring to LB) anytime soon? :P

Hey guys, just a small question.
I’ve heard in fractals that a mesmer’s role is to provide reflect and portal.
To me, zerker seems more consistent but assassin’s can go for a high burst of damage at times.

This being said, would it be better to go for ascended assassins gear or zerker’s?

I’m almost finished to crafting sunrise (just need karma) and halfway there for twilight as well! But I’ve been wondering, is eternity rly worth it even with the new effects added in?

Tbh, in my whole gw2 life, I’ll prob only be able to afford like 2 legendaries and that’s bout it, which is plenty, so I’m wondering if I should sell eternity, keep the twilight/sunrise skins in the wardrobe, and purchase other legendaries like incinerator and bifrost since those two are what I am aiming for next.

Or it might b better to just use eternity just for the hell of it?
Eternity’s price did go up so I think its worth it nao imo, but still, I would like the general consensus to help me out on my indecisiveness T^T

Alright, I’m having serious altoholic issues and I really need some help solving this…so I’ll need to throw out a few questions out there on what your ideas are on these thoughts.
But first, thanks for helping me out GW2 community

1. What’s a good class to main? In terms of wvw, pvp, pve?
(I’m mostly looking for a good class to use for basically…all 3…which has good mobility)

I forgot to state that I only want the sunrise/twilight skins tho lol.
I only rly use zerker weapons so i prob might just craft an ascended zerker GS and use the twilight/sunrise skin on it.
So yea, not having much need for the stat swapping.

I will be soon crafting a twilight and dawn, just need to get some world completions done. However, I’m wondering if crafting eternity is really worth it now.

Will it be better to just sell off the precursors, just craft a twilight or sunrise, or make an eternity?

IMO i was thinking of just crafting eternity and selling it to get more precursors and craft more legendaries or just outright buy another legendary and have some gold leftover.

What are your thoughts on crafting eternity, worth it or not?

The thing about the Trading Post is that it doesn’t introduce gold into the game, it actually removes it while moving it between players. In that vein, the Trading Post will always be the most powerful tool for those who wish to make tons of in-game money. You will never earn more gold playing the game than you could playing the Trading Post smartly. The reason is clear: playing the game creates gold, which must be regulated.

everything is account bound now. like seriously, that should b an instant que that prices are just hype atm. it would b best to wait a few weeks or a month after the patch and start seeing the prices to suddenly drop into a heavy, permanent trough. once people will have legendaries and skins that they want, there will b a large supply of them remaining in the market. so yes, dont buy any “hyped” prices right now as they will start to deflate once after the patch hits.

Will the armor from pvp be usable as skins for pve armor too?

Reading up on the new update notes, the first thing that came to mind about the dyes was “If you already have the same dyes unlocked on multiple characters, when you log in on additional characters, you will receive one unidentified dye for each duplicate dye already unlocked on your account.” So buy all the dyes and spread them across the alts and get a higher value of unidentified dyes? Seems reasonable.

This is already deeming all the exploits and unfairness within the game. TP has already been manipulated with the hoard of investors out there and consuming all the dyes, creating an imbalance of supply and demand in the current, and possibly, future market.

Dye lovers will also have a problem of an expensive dye being in both characters already in a single account. This creates an unfairness. For example, deep glacial sky dye which ranges from 130g-160g is given to both characters in a single account. Would it be fair to be rid of the extra deep glacial sky dye at a 160g loss? It seems true that “oh the dyes r given to all my characters now” but the best compensation would be settled with giving back the same dyes that the same account has multiples of.

Sorry if the grammar or fluency may not sound correct, but I will edit this later as I have someplace to go to right now.

I would sell the items that u have right now before the event ends for the living world. There should be investors out there who hoarded these items and are ready to sell these, further bringing up a large supply, possibly equaling demand. This creates competition between investors and will drop the price.

Now that the zerk gear is having much controversy atm, it ponders me what gear the classes should have now.

For now, my warrior and mesmer is wearing full zerk atm, but now dat Crit is changing to Ferocity, would it be better off going to a more survivable build using Soldier’s instead of Berserker gear?

Is the flamekissed light armor permanently removed or are they still trying to develop a new look for it?

It’s been like 1-2 months since it was last released and I still have 800 gems saved…but I guess I’ll use em up for gold conversion :/

Not sure if a compliment or a way of saying how hard designing an armor set is.

Also say your budget was somewhere round the 10000 gem range; seemingly a good number to use to figuratively calculate a good estimate of what to buy.
