You make me laugh,instead of coming on the forum and cry for something that destroyed the economy FOR MONTHS being TOTALLY unlegit,kittened and one of the worst EXPLOIT i’ve ever seen,why don’t you just go and farm,youtube is very good,type on it gw2 gold and stop cry.

i find it disgusting how anet still not fixed it after MONTHS,we have :
1)Economy going into the oblivion
2) Lack of people for every single kind of content but Multiloot
3)Tons of toxicity in the AB meta.

First of all.Yes their are tp bots and Goldsellers. They make through Flipping Gold and sell the Gold for RL Cash.

So consider an ACC costs 25-50 euro if it is a new and fresh one. BUT an lvl 80 empty character ACC costs on Black markets less then 10 Euro. Cause ppl dont like gw2 and want to get rid of their acc.

So thouse Flipper Gold sellers buy for 10 Euro an ACC. Flip on tp. Make Gold worth for 100 euro. Sell Gold for rl cash!

A Win situation of 90 Euro.

The account gets banned. They just buy another acc for 10 euro and make their profit of 100 Euro. The bot customisation doesnt change. Just the acc changes.

So ANEt can bann hundrets of ACCs. They will just buy another 200 acc and keep botting as long as they make profits.

U just have to deal with it. ANd stop flipping as a legal flipper.

Second. Their are more then 7 Million GW2 accs. Lets considre their are 1 Million active players left. Lets considere 100.000 ppl play at same time at any time. And 1000 of them are flippers like u who flip 18h a day. U flip with 1000 ppl who look like u for profitable flip items. on that item.

So u are not just fighting against never ending bots. U are fighting against a reasanable number of other flippers.

Try bidding the item for like 90% of the price for a second before cancelling, if the bots falls for it, buy all of the loot and make them lose money.
If that bot has some sort of fail safe against it well, i guess reporting and waiting is the only solution.

I have no proof that it’s not a bot, but you also don’t have enough evidence to say it is a bot.

All you can do is report instances you think are botters and let ANet look at the evidence. And realize that ANet bans botters in waves to reduce the chances of them figuring out what got them caught so that they make their macros better and avoid detection.

Tip: Don’t be cheap and don’t overbid by 1 copper. A good rule i use is to increase the bid by 10% of the item’s buy value (eg. 1g = increase by 10s, 100g = increase by 10g). In the end, you still pay less than instant buyout value.

While it is an issue, I’m sure they are working hard to resolve it.

It’s not about being cheap bro,the thing is that even if(let’s say the item is around 25s order and 30s buyout each) i overbid by 4s he will still be there overbidding 1c,you get my point?

Hello everyone,let me tell you a fun story.

About 2 months ago i started to flip the tp and i discovered a good way of farm,sadly this farm is basically controlled by a bot and i reported all the infos i could gather to the support,they told me that they will send my report to the supporters that deals with bots and i was happy,today i went again to flip the tp and hell if i’m wrong,this bot basically stood there overbidding me of 1c INSTA everytime for like (AND IM NOT EVEN JOKING,i was off from work and so angry i just stood near my pc for like 18 HOURS straight) 60-70 times in a day,the result is that i got carpal tunnel and the one that is using this bot goes out having fun with friends while the same bot does the whole work for him,now,i’m not angry with the bot itself because THEY EXISTS and PEACE,i’m so frustrated and disappointed to the WHOLE gw2 support community,as i said back there i reported this disgusting abuse of exploit 1 month ago and i did it today too with more proofs of it : the result is that the bot is,even in this EXACT moment neverending bidding and support gave me the SAME exact response i got 1 month ago.

Note : This is not a rage topic but it’s just a request of Help and advices.

What should i honestly do ? drop a game i paid with irl money (Core + exp) because it’s surrounded by bots and support basically at this point,let me just say it, DOES NOT care or should I just go ahead knowing that I could farm the tp (working 14 hours a day) if this squalid thing didn’t exist or at least someone cared and was nerfed to the root?

4.5 / 0.015 = 300 ( Green Items ) .
So if i count blue item , The number will be above 300 because i don’t have data of blue , green drop . I think you must have 350 items including green and blue to get 4.5 gold from merchant .

Those people who said “horde them in your bank” while I said sell them. Now I’m enjoying all the gold I have received from them (literally hundreds) while they are worried at the stock price plummeting and their items being useless.

I hedged my bets and sold half of them and stashed the other half in my bank so I came out ahead regardless of what happened.

I also bought one of those 250-ecto gamble boxes only to realize the achievement required me to buy 100 of them. I turned 250 ectos into 50 ectos and 50 gold, which after the trading post tax turned out to be current market price.

Ok , let’s make it clear . For example : I open 50 grand chest , i have 50 rares item . If salvage all i might received 50 ectos ( Calculating based on wiki https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Glob_of_Ectoplasm/salvage_research )
Now with the price of ectos on TP is 30 silvers ( avarage ),
50 × 0.30 = 15 gold
The tax is 15% so i received 12.75 gold from other player .
2.25 Gold vanished forever from economy system.
Now , the main question : how many green , blue , white item you must sell to create 2.25 RAW GOLD ? Let’s say that all blue , white and green item can sell for 1 silver , you have to sell 225 items to create 2.25 gold . Do you think you can get 225 green , blue , white items in a simple run AB/ML ?
Please , help me create more than 2.25 raw gold so i can see the fallen of the market , the dark side of Trading Port , the end of GW2 ….. !
P/S : i alway salvage all white , blue , green items with Copper-Fed-Salvage Kit . Someone said that if you combine green items in Mystic Forge you could get some rares item but i don’t care , i don’t want to waste time . I think you should buy a Copper-Fed-Salvage Kit , it’s good for your knowledge =))

The salvage cost is much more than raw gold you received from AB/ML . You only receive “raw gold” from chest ( Noxious Pod ,Heirloom …. ) , and it’s just few silver . Now answer me , What’s kind of junk item which you can sell for 50 silvers from AB/ML ? Because the last times i checked on wiki , there’s no junk item drop from " Grand Exalted Chest " .

It is pretty clear that ML is becoming a real cancer in this game. It should have been removed a long time ago but for some reason they let it continue. Hopefully they will remove it soon before the damage is long lasting.

His reasoning is a simple comparison of every other activity in the game. Unless you have incredible luck at SW chest farm you won’t get this, but its guaranteed from ML. And just forget about the rewards from any other activity (fractals, dungeons, world bosses, WvW, PvP…..). Thats a pretty kitten good reason to say that the rewards from ABML are extremely unbalanced and need to be brought in line.

Only time SW chest farm got nerfed was when there were like 20 chests spawning right outside Amber.

They nerfed it by reducing the chest amounts spawning there as well as crest drops from the chest so that it wasn’t self sustaining because people just ignored the entire map and chest farmed there.

And still it was less profitable than multiloot

it’s just opinions right?everyone comes here talking about opinions,what i’ve saw so far is that since multiloot is up important materials dropped drastically in price and i don’t like that,now about the RAW gold,let’s say i farm 50s of junk items i sell to the merchant doing the multiloot and multiplied for thousands of people doing it daily,where’s ur god now?
The thing is my dear “skirt” that multiloot isn’t helping at all the whole economy,but HEY that’s just my opinion.

If you’re flipping I assume you’re using commonly traded materials so it seems unlikely there’s just 2 of you listing them for sale, and undercutting by 1c is pretty much standard practice.

It’s bidding on rare weapon of a specific level and his amount of item request is always the same : 80,that’s how i know it’s him/her/IT

Could someone explain what exactly is going on or how this farm works? I was on Bloodtide coast the other day at this place called The Underbelly and saw a bunch of naked people standing in a corner, and occasionally some candy corn monsters would come out. They told me not to attack so I didn’t and I stuck around and asked if they could explain to me what they were doing but they didn’t speak English. They just told me to leave lol

The first time I ever saw a bunch of naked people standing in the corner, they told me they were role playing lol. Now I know they were farming I guess.

People don’t want to make this farm known,but if you basically type on youtube gw2 gold one of the videos is about this farm so there’s no point on hiding it,what we can do is try to Educate people so we can all farm in peace ^^

Hello everyone,the in-game char I use more often is Fat Plant. I’ve been farming this spot right after Halloween and it’s one of the best ways to Gold Farm. Unfortunately, often, the place gets really crowded and for this specific reason I’ve made this post to help and “educate” in a way all the people that farm Trick or Treat Bags on Bloodtide Coast. But for now, let’s cut the “crab”.

-How to Farm : First of all you need a thrower of Vials of Maize Balms OR you can do it yourself for other people.

- Un-gearing yourself doesn’t change that much but equipping a low level weapon surely does.

- When the Vial of Maize Balm has been thrown the Candy Corns will be only Level 2, so a simple auto attack basically insta-kills them. (We don’t want this!). You need to wait for them to turn into Level 52, which takes 1 second, then you can hit them.

- Get in party and only hit the mobs once. The DPS doesn’t matter if you’re in a party with other people so you will still get loot, and this gives the other people a chance to hit.

- When the train stops, simply because you’re capped or the thrower is, ALWAYS donate to the thrower. A fair donation is approximately 40-50 silver (basically nothing on 10-12g in such a small amount of time). – “What is the Cap/DR?” : DR = Diminishing Return; basically after approximatively 256/264 bags you won’t drop 3/3 anymore but you will start to drop 2/3 then 1/3 then 0/3 when hitting mobs. To remove this cap you simply have to do something else for 30-40 minutes such as enjoy a dungeon with guildies, complete a breach/vw or have a couple of matches in PvP(or just slack,people love to slack).

Most important thing: THE PRICE.
- The price you want to sell them, (unless you want to gamble but it’s totally up to you, no judging xD) is very important. We have the power to make the price since we provide those ToT bags on the TP. A more than fair price at the moment is to LIST them at 5 Silver. Do not get scared by other offers, your bags will 100% SELL, it’s just a matter of time. The more people list them at 5s the faster those bags will sell, it is VERY wrong to insta-sell them or to undercut Buyout Prices by 1-5-10-50 copper, it will just destroy the price.

I will make this very simple.

You cannot effectively farm the same mobs in the same map for more than 1 hour.
Let me introduce you to what is known as “Diminishing Returns”

Diminishing returns (DR) refers to the mechanics used to prevent bots and exploits from disrupting the economy and gaining an unfair advantage over legitimate players. There are several types of DR in the game, each of which is character-based with the exception of dungeon DR, which applies to the entire account. Although DR could affect most activities that have potential for abuse, very few players will experience it during normal play.

In other words, what you plan on doing is completely moot, Try diversifying your game play, example: farming Southsun for 1 hr, moving to Frostgorge for another and possibly to Orr for another and keep rotating in this manner.
This will not only prevent your character from hitting DR but also will prevent your account from being reported.

Also personal advice, if you intend on making gold, you may just want to run dungeons instead and buy the mats you are looking for.

I started today to farm cudas again,i’m adding every single player to the party who’s there and we’re always farming as a team,also i’m farming the zone for not more than 30 mins each time,then like you said,i go make a fractals or some dungeons,i need to do the things right this time,got banned 3 times for bot(which,i repeat,i never used) since i used to farm cudas for like 1 hour and half straight for a total of 5-6 hours each day,they just said that my unban was going to be the last one and i don’t want my account terminated for something i didn’t do obviously.

Because that’s what bots do. Normal players do not.

I’ve always enjoyed farming,starting from diablo 2 with sorceress and hammypala to gw1 to diablo 3 to gw2,what’s happening is really really weird,i mean,based on what happened i’m basically afraid to farm alone anywhere,starting from frostgorge to southsun cove,i’m not even going to kill karka queen because i fear so bad a ban to get in southsun cove again,i just would like how to proceed,i salvaged tons of ecto to reach 302% mf(and i only play gw2 for 5 months,reached the maximum at 4 months)and now i just can’t farm,this is what frustrates me :|
