it was originally 25% at the release of the game and got nerfed to that kitten 15%.
20% is fine, especially with the rework.

This has been the first buff warrior has had in almost 2 years, we needed it.

Run the Medi Warrior equivlent with Shouts.
Axe+Wh/ Hammer.
I prefer Hoelbrak Runes.
You can Run CI or Merci hammer, i have enough cleansing so I run Merci hammer. Also you have so much weakness, just use hammer 2 and WH 5 wisely. Still a tough match though since its cheese v cheese.
devs should actually play the game, then they would know all they had to do was nerf hammer. But instead they nerf GS which has such a low cleave compared to gs. Why gs burst at all when I can get the same damage on hammer 2, or AA hammer 3? Oh and screw our adrenaline over
Eh, it sucks. Now I see no point in using an eviscerate unless I know its 100% set up. Will be pointless even using evis on an acro thief. I’d rather spam 1 and keep my adrenal. What upsets me the most is that I can’t fake out eviscerates or hammer leap anymore…
If they’re doin this to adrenaline, Some of our burst animations seriously need reworking. Like who the hell can’t dodge a killshot,eviscerate,hammer stun, skullcrack?
Also ANET can u not kittening move this to the kittening section titled “Player events” or “Linksville” because nobody ever kittening goes to look at the stupid kitten in there.
Replace Towers to just be a mob of 50 veterans (Easy to farm you know, sorta like that pavillion crap)
Keeps are like 5 champion bosses together. They’re all conveniently grouped up together in the lords room so it allows easier access for farming.
Keep camps the same, but add like 20 more veteran npcs. Maybe add a champion for more champ bags.
Make bloodlust a more pve event. (IE: Sitting in bloodlust for more than 15 seconds will spawn a pve mob. This pve mob will spawn more pve mobs, which spawn more pve mobs, and so on. This gives you your own personal farm!)
Smc- Oh boy I really hope ANET does this one! At the top of smc theres like 3 orbs and stuff, you touch three orbs. Boom Tekkatl (w/e the hell his name is), that aeterhblade ho, and a random 3rd world boss spawn. That way it’s much more convenient because you spawn 3 bosses at the same time. Thats 3 times the loot!!!
Man if ANET doesn’t make these changes, I for one will probably quit game.
Depends, Is there a certain condi based class you are trying to counter? On my spec I really have no problems with any condi unless it’s a PU Mes (Yes this means I’m implying condi thieves don’t give Me trouble if I play cards right)
Honestly I’d say try m/sh +lb or m/sh + rifle. However I’m gonna be blatantly honest the best way to counter condi, is play condi yourself. I spent a few days playing an apoth/dire condi warrior and it was ridiculously easy to kill condi thieves as compared to my standard power build. However, this might be the case for you, playing the condi spec was just too faceroll for me so I swapped back to power.
Also If you wanna stay power, posting a build calc would help to work with the #s

You look at what we do and see nothing more than a large zerg running around the map. This is why you failed this week. You need to stop making excuses about why you’re losing and come up with a way to win. You won’t beat us if you don’t give us any more credit than the numbers. Even when you match our numbers you still won’t beat us, and that’s because you can’t understand anything that’s going on beyond just the number of players. So in short: stop complaining on the forums about why you’re losing and try to organize better so you can compete in T1.

Would you care to elaborate? I watched the video, and I’ve seen this same guy commenting on the gw2wvw.net forums. He’s kitten that he can’t compete, so he records a couple times where his group played well so he can try and denigrate the ability of BG. What he’s not showing you are all the times where his guild hit a brick wall and got mopped up. He even said on the other forums that his guild can take a BG guild at a 2 to 1 disadvantage. That’s just absurd and preposterous.
And then people come in here and talk about how they don’t care about PPT… That’s the entire point of the game, why are you playing WvW if you don’t care about the outcome? What would you think about a player on your favorite basketball team saying in an interview, “I just want to have some good isolation matchups with the other team’s best player, I don’t really care about the final score or if my team wins.” Fans would probably want him to go find another team if he doesn’t care about winning. How do you think the people on your server who actually do care about winning feel when they hear you all say that you don’t care about winning or PPT? How are you ever going to inspire your server’s players or attract guild transfers if you just don’t care about the game at all?

Everytime I see a hammer warrior i slouch back and take it easy because I know all I have to do is dodge the most obvious animations ever and then kill them.
Unless its team fights where I have to focus on multiple things

Nah in all seriousness not a lot of people stream. Not since defektive went inactive. He has a few guides out there that work but are outdated. My advice? Play standard hambow and watch Blu’s tournament streams for “high end” gameplay.
There are still a few warriors out there who play on top teams. I’m not gonna name drop because that just causes fights. Just keep practicing. Many players pick up a warrior, play a spec like hambow and do well, it’s easy to do that with the current state warrior is in. Warrior is easy to pick up and compete when compared to a class like a Mesmer or a thief. However very few warriors are actually experienced enough to have reached the skill cap and full potential of the class. Those warriors are the ones you see on top teams, the others just talk trash and get rolled over by the good ones.

Honestly Just carry both. I’ve been using sword shield/gs for months now and recently picked up the axe.
For my roaming build (similar to my pvp one) I just swap out two traits when switching between the two weapons. I recommend both because the sword and the axe are great in their own way. The sword for the flurry/swap gs 100b combo and the axe obvious for the burst skill. I use axe when I can get decent roaming fights, but if I keep getting sideswiped by the T1 zergs I’ll switch to the sword for the extra mobility.
It depends on your style of play and what you want. I see some traits you can change (without retraiting) on your build, which can be done on the fly.
Edit: Realized you said pvp.
I favor the axe more for pvp, and I would probably recommend that over the sword since you don’t really need the sword mobility.
I feel like quite a few of the posts in this thread are regarding how useful this skill can be in zerg fighting. I honestly do not find it more useful than surge or signet. People are saying this can be quite useful by running in the middle of the zerg to get a full heal, which is true but if you’re with your guild and take that much damage pain training through a zerg, then who will be left alive? Just the warriors because they absorbed the damage? It just seems like an excuse to encourage bad play style.
For dueling, it’s really obvious and bad. Not sure how it will be used in pvp teams, maybe a trollish 3 stance build for a bunker point is the best option I see, but then again I don’t pvp too much.
Take your pick, as usual you will always be welcome back on FA, but will be a bummer because you stated you’re done with pugmanding. When you left we had 5~ guilds transfer over and DPS/SIC coming back. This made our OCX/SEA very strong, and we have a set EURO guild now. However, FA has Delune on it so that might make you avoid it even more.
Nonetheless I wish you luck in choosing a future server and if not FA, then we will cross paths.
Cannot wait until these leagues are over. Once we fight JQ/SOR/BG hopefully our fair weathers quit this chest thumping and and stop taking up queue slots to work on achievements so we can actually get an entire guild group on a borderland.
IMO These warrior changes were much needed, and this is coming from someone who has mained a warrior since headstart. I wonder what people running gs m/s will run now, hopefully more warriors will diversify their builds while still being efficient.
Think Honnor is no longer with us, Yums and AI should still around somewhere, I’ll be on the hunt for the guild HOPE formerly known on Yak’s as RAM for personal grudges
