GW1 PVP structure for an MMO was the best I’d ever seen GW2 pales in comparison. They need to go back to what made GW the best PVP MMO.
Bring back HA, bring back increasing fame for successive wins. Bring back the Hall of Heroes. Every map can’t just be domination, we need death matches! We need King of the Hill! We need Capture the flag! We need More! rant over

5) More game modes we need Team Deathmatch type maps with priests like in GW1, we need King of the Hill maps. we need the HALL OF HEROES.

The reason we need all this is because we PVPers need a reason to play, we need progression we need to feel like we are going somewhere, we’re a sad bunch but feed our egos and we’ll keep your game alive for years and years

Agree fully.

The game needs:

1) GUILD HALLS – to make having a guild actually meaningful..also this would negate the need for custom games as u could just invite people for Guild battles from 1 vs 1 to 8 vs 8.
2) HEROES ASCENT – if it’s not broken don’t fix it, getting to the Hall of Heroes and holding it for hours upon hours is so much better than Tournaments. It actually mattered the whole game world would see that it was your guild dominating.
3) /RANK – bring it back when I /rank I want to see my Wolf. I should be allowed to stroke my ego and create a wolf any time i wish not just for stomps.
4) There’s a lot more but I’m tired…

P.S. I love GW2 as a game but some things have been changed needlessly, also nerf Guardian Bunkers please

Who cares about who he is on WoW? WoW is a totally different game, you and him need to realise that, either adapt or die whinging

Why would you roam as a tank spec?

That makes literally zero sense; the purpose of a roamer is to catch other players out of position and kill them, not be difficult to kill in the middle of nowhere, leaving your team to 4v5 the points without you.

I have a lot of swiftness, 2 …I can hold people on route to bases, taking 3 naive players out of the game by holding them up from 40secs – infinite is priceless…especially in 8vs8.

From your responses I’m pretty sure you haven’t PvP’d a lot

viable for 5vs5 & 8vs8….running the same condition spam build is mind-numbing you play a class experiment & have fun! You will realise there are several ways to play each profession very well!

There are several viable necro builds I play 3 and they are all very different.

this game does have tanks I tank in sPvP as I got bored with condition spam, if you want deails of the build I run say so, but I don’t really want it becoming FOTM for necros
