While using Celestial Shadow and Cosmic Wisp for the druid, I discovered that by spamming 1 to charge the profession-specific energy to full (more people around the better since it charges faster) then activating and deactivating the F5 skill in rapid succession, then rinse-repeat I was able to give everyone near me near-perpetual super speed, stealth, and healing.

I will not take advantage of this build (just saying).

We also need to add ATC and a really thick book of regulations to adhere to.

I have to admit I was starting to get bored of Guild Wars 2 because it felt like it nudged me to re-roll so that I can experience more PvE content, but this latest patch suddenly made everything new again.

Thank you, Anet — I didn’t know what was missing in my life until you made the world sepia, and my Charr into an airplane.

Suggested improvements:

*Re-write quests into Notices to Airmen (NOTAM) form, and the terms of agreement in the same manner as the Federal Aviation Regulations|Aeronautical Information Manual.
*Filter out any chat that doesn’t use Top Gun lingo.
*Have my character say: “Fox one-ten” whenever skills activate.
*Change skins of classes into aircraft that best resemble their roles (e.g. Thieves are fighter pilots, Guardians are helicopters, Mesmers are Virgin airline jets).
*Have characters move forward slowly to hard ’80’s rock whenever WvW match ends in victory.
*Have an Instrument Flight Rules quest where my screen goes blank and I have to rely on my heads up display.

So how exactly was I being “insulting” in regards to your comment? In regards to your services offered; would they be particularly skilled in translating fifth grader typing into something more structured and organized? IF you are in this grade level you should not be on this game, as this is a “T” rated game. If you are older than a typical fifth grader, please stop typing like one.

Siege rams need to be able to knock down walls as well.

Arrow carts and various other siege equipment on wheels should be re-deployable.

Dolyaks should have the option to turn into a siege asset by having explosives strapped to it’s body and detonate it’s payload on a wall or gate.

Implement a distance meter on the HUD.

Implement a power percentage meter on the catapult, mortar, and trebuchet.

I might even indulge in some classical music (Vivaldi, Beethoven, Bach) while PvPing.

Well maybe it is for mindless 50+ zergs against 15 but I don’t as I didn’t even get the render till after I was dead.
Please ArenaNet fix the rendering fully, make transfers 14 days and cash related, plus get rid of the AoE kittening Cap to at least give out numbered a chance against a huge bunch like this.
I would also remove XP and Karma from WvWvW simply because everyone gets raised up to level 80 and Karma is predominately PvE based rewards at most, this could very easy be countered by trebling the cash reward as a recompense for getting rid of the XP and Karma from WvWvW

It’s good to be in tier one; It it my hope that our server will make this our permanent residence. To be among the finest this game has to offer and then fighting them will prove to be very challenging and fun.

The problem is that this isn’t conducive to what GW2 is aiming for. GW2 is trying to get AWAY from what everyone else is doing. The fact of the matter is that you can’t keep ripping off ideas from other games and make another Frankenstein of an MMO that dies within a few months; there are only so many ways you can improve on the wheel. Additionally, when you copy ideas from EVE, TERA, ect. the players from those MMOs complain about how it’s not close enough to what those games are.

So yeah it’s time to get away from that kind of thinking.

Why do people think portals are broken? Assuming you don’t have10 FPS, you can tell if enemies are coming through or not even if they do not all render, and take defensive measures—they exist and are not complicated.

Let’s be honest, it’s either the classic “don’t stand in the fire” issue which has plagued MMO’s since day one, aka skill levels vary, or people simply not wanting to have to be organized and go through trial and error. WvW does not need to be made simpler and more predictable.

Culling is so bad that we often cannot see the portals, ad we also don’t know whose they are when we can see them. They need to make them require more time to be usable and be much more visible and obvious.

I don’t think that making the portals require more time to be usable is gonna fix the problem. You have quite a few Mesmers in a typical WvW group that the CD wouldn’t mean a thing. The way to fix this problem is for Anet to improve rendering of the players within WvW. When I get portal bombed by other players we have a pretty good warning in advance what’s gonna happen. Whenever that portal goes down we spread out and AOE the crap out of it. Whoever is unlucky enough to get through ends up dead in less than a second.

It’s not a good idea to tweak the skills around faulty rendering issues like we have here. In fact, it would be lazy of Anet to take this approach.

Let’s make GW2 just like every other game out there; that will surely fix everything we think is wrong with it.

You have three borderlands and EB to assault. If one is jam packed with a certain server then move onto the next map. They can’t occupy all of them at the same time. If they can, well c’est la vie.

If only there were some way we could use this rift/portal-like spell and somehow get inside and deploy another rift/portal-like spell just like it. People will then go through it and eliminate everybody inside.

At least give everyone the option to turn off the commander icons. I don’t need a commander in PVE to find an event or organize with other players to effectively participate in one. Outside of WvW, these icons are unnecessarily and annoyingly taking up space on my map, and they scream, “See me, because I seek attention. I’m a commander, people, and I’m super duper special!” It makes me roll my eyes.

They do have that option. And they are the most special people in the game and deserve our respect, awe, and admiration.

Yep; it’s happening. Was this a mistake on Anet’s part, or was it intentional? Either way this sort of thing happening is gonna make things VERY expensive for players in WvW.
