Same issue here, waiting patiently to craft my new backpiece!

When I tried leaving the instance it sent me back to my original location, so I wouldnt accept that as a solution.

Omg omg omg the backpiece… It will grow!!! And the ventari’s flower kite.. i hope it looks like a realistic flower!

But are there other spots?

I noticed that the glow was so high you couldn’t see the mask from when it was released, i always assumed it was bugged, but no one had mentioned anything…

It looks much better with the mask!

So as the title says, how do you make zerging more fun?

The crown pavilion is a disaster to me. Clearly people want to group together in a big mass and don’t want to listen to anyone trying to help them get the gold reward.

I think what would work better is either forcing people to split up (like the marionette) or simply embracing the zerg. But how to make that more engaging? I’d love to hear your ideas.

Why didn’t you just convert it to gold? 4200 gems gets you about 300 gold these days.

Can you post coordinates of the unlocks?? I can’t find any other than the 6 in Lion’s Arch

I’m guessing Scarlet’s drill is going to be an instanced dungeon or something, where we can face off with Scarlet, or some other boss…

Why not have a portal in LA (or the next capital) that teleports you directly into your home instance, that you also have to exit from. I think having a personal teleportation stone that you carry around could be abused, and as the home is instanced, makes it seem like the world is less populated if too many people start spending too much time in there.

I was expecting something a little more aesthetic.. Even in the Sylvari housing, i just feel.. It could’ve been done better. It is our housing after all.

The new wurm mini pets don’t go underground when they travel with you, they just shrink to super small size. It looks awful and I assume is a bug?

Would love to know as obviously it doesn’t look right.

I love them otherwise, and the finisher… the finisher is crazy good!!

Mine’s a deep purple/red, although I have alts that are pure white and bluish green!

I am not advocating this at all, as someone who was away for the release of the two other nodes… and missed it its a bit crap that there will never be (more than likely) another opportunity to gain things like these. If the material is intended to be available for use regularly then don’t release one time opportunities for them. For the candy corn and snowflakes maybe because they can seasonally return but the quartz will not ever be back unless the bazaar returns :/

You can always mine your friends home instance nodes…

Ascended Weapons and Legendary’s are different, because they have the skin and the interchangeable stats. Plus the only way to get an ascended weapon is to craft one. But you can get ascended amulets and trinkets easily now. Why the need for changeable stats?

Maybe you’re missing the “changeable stats” fact Because that’s the main thing why I never went for the Ascended Staff, I rather try to have a legendary than grind for an item which may be worthless after a few patches for my Elementalist….

The candy node in my Sylvari home instance looks really…. odd?

I really liked the quartz crystals in their bowl, and it would look so much better if they were all in bowls or something that made them uniform and unique to your home instance.

I also love how the Krait Obelisk Shard was incorporated and put in the pond!

Please, please give the Toxic Seedling Node as a home instance reward!

Scarlet will make some terrible jokes, we’ll jump through some hoops, she’ll say “tatty bye” and disappear in a puff of smoke to reappear in another themed funhouse in a few weeks time.

The growth is in the shape of a thistle, which can sometimes be a weed. If you look closely at the weapons they are also thistles, and very similar to the Sylvari cultural Warden weapons.

I’m pretty sure the tower will spread the new condition ‘toxin’ which will probably have some sort of long lasting and accumulative effect, that means you’ll have to regularly use the new ‘anti-toxin spray’ skill to get rid of it.

As for their new form… It looks interesting! Can’t wait to find out more!

The weapons look exactly like the Warden cultural weapons for Sylvari, with the mix of water and plant handle. Except this one has a thistle design.

Also, the tower is a giant thistle, which seems to be spreading a new condition called ‘toxin’.

Maybe it’s something new altogether… but the Krait definitely seem corrupted…

Could you even imagine the carnage a rogue member of the support staff could do of they could just spawn gold??

And yes, you should protect the guild bank at all costs. The best way to protect valuable items and gold is to place it into the smaller separate vault and only allow yourself and the trusted guild leaders access. If anyone else needs something they should message you in game.

Guilds are your responsibility and you must take every measure to keep them secure.

Can we please check the water level? I think it has changed. Also in the concept art the obelisks look as though they’re standing in drained river beds or lakes…

Firstly, I love the unlimited gathering tools. Thank you for fixing the sickle animation and putting it back from mining to actually using a sickle.

However, the timing of the animation and the animation of the gathering are off to me. I think the effect would look much better if the water spout came during or directly after the harvesting, like you cut through the plants and they are spouting water or something.

The sound is soooo much better so thanks for fixing that also.

Perhaps they are just old, and everyone who wanted one has bought one now… It’s a fashion accessory basically and right now, they’re so last season.

I bought my sickle as soon as I saw the patch notes, as I was so impressed with the mining pickaxe. I expected the same standard, and at least the same harvesting animation, not hacking at plants. To see just a rangers heal skill popping out as well was also very sad.

I wish there were more!! Especially an equivalent to male face 5, with it’s fungal growths!

It would be so cool to just be mining something or in some low level area to suddenly see a huge boss fly up and start battling everyone around!!

I’d just like to see some beautiful rare boss, that has no obvious trigger or random timer. You just have to be lucky for it to pop up! And it could be anywhere… I think it would add an element and stop huge numbers amassing and waiting…

My MF gear was my first investment, as soon as I hit 80. The sooner you buy it, the sooner you will see a return. I have made probably over 200g from farming (obviously spent on crap because I’m broke), it’s impossible to say how much gold I would’ve got without it.

MF doesn’t improve the amount of drops you get, only the quality of loot from those drops. So let’s say I made 200g on a 1g item that has a 1 percent chance of dropping. That chance is only calculated after the enemy has confirmed you qualify for a drop (this is done separately and what was messing with peoples drops recently).

So to make 200g you would have to qualify for 20,000 drops from enemies. Let’s say you have a 50% chance of qualifying for a drop. That’s 40,000 enemies you’d have to kill, to make 200g.

So if your MF is at 100% that will increase the drop rate of that 1g item to 2%. That means you would have to qualify for 10,000 drops and only kill 20,000 enemies. Which is a huge difference!

These numbers are completely fictitious, but do represent some real calculations, and show that MF is worth the commitment.

I’m collecting sylvari themed items and wondered if lore wise and look wise it would suit.

I’m so worried now!! Even if I bought the influence it would take longer than a week just because of upgrade times to get it to lvl 5 !!!
