13 – THREAT I understand no one wants to see “Trinity” become the play-style but at minimum it’d be nice to have an idea on who has the agro in dungeons. I ran with a group where we had 4 DPS and a Tank and it was the smoothest run I’ve been in yet…just knowing that a guy with Sword/Board is actually taking the damage and not the little elementalist who has to be revived every other second.
JUST LOOK AT THE CREATURE AND SEE WHO HAS AGGRO…
HOW HARD IS THAT?
PLAY THE GAME NOT THE UI
Get rid of the constant diminishing returns throughout the game!

The new anti-farming, anti-event, anti-dungeon reward changes have made the game into a massive time sink in order to actually get any sort of rewards, which barely offset the gold sinks in the game (repairing, traveling etc.). With the new changes to dungeons, they are universally not worth doing because you get less reward than the cost of a couple of repairs.
The anti-farming system also makes it incredibly unfun to go and collect materials or try and make money, giving you junk items or nothing for dozens of kills after only a few minutes.
The event diminishing rewards discourage even participating in events, since you get horrible rewards, usually less than what it cost to travel there in the first place.
Dungeons were barely worth doing before given the horrible drops and mediocre money reward, and now with the new “we don’t want you to have fun” dungeon changes, they’re guaranteed to lose you money and waste your time.
All these changes simply serve to alienate normal players and make the game into a giant unfun time sink where your time investment is rewarded with nothing or a few coppers at best.
Please ArenaNet, for the love of all that is great about GW2, get rid of these anti-fun changes.
Oh common, look at World of Wacraft you can only do a raid once a week & heroics once a day, thats rly absurd.
Plus I bet you will be one of the first saying that the game is boring after having rushed everything.
Furthermore farming is very possible, loot chance goes down after having killed a certain amount of creatures(around 150+), but recovers pretty fast. Who wants to farm for more than 1 hour at a time, this is not RuneScape where farming 24/7 is the developers design goal.
Last but not least, at level 80 it costs me about 1,50 silver to a close waypoint and 3 for a waypoint that is located very far away and an event gets me for doing it once 1,5 silver, dungeons overall give 40 silver for a run how can you spend more on repairs & traveling than you get rewarded.

No change required.
The Game is perfect as it is, I don’t want a healing/tanking/ damage spec because then people start blaming both healers & tanks when they wipe because damage dealers do nothing beside doing damage nothing to pay attention to…
Beside you can still play like the trinity, keeping aggro is fairly easy, just stay close to the target and have a lot of CC. If you don’t get that you’re simply bad.
The gold sinks are good, I don’t want to horde money and have nothing to spend it on.
Gold is actualy worth something and will not loose it’s worth due to inflation like in WoW, where most people have thousands of gold.
Confirmation Window yes!
Refund system NO!
Without a gear grind, 2vs2, 3vs3, 5vs5 arenas would be fun.
The Arena itself shouldn’t be too small so there is enough room for movement.
This will not be added in a patch if they even decide to add it. If yes then it would be a new feature for the upcoming expansion.
No ssd will not fix any fps issues, the only thing it will do is decrease loading times.
For better fps get better hardware.
Best MMO & RPG aswell, I love the customization, the depth, and the masses amounts of content that is realy fun to play and feels epic, unique and varied!
You can buy them with Badges of Honor which you can collect by killing players, some drop up to 2 of them.
While this is true, some people (myself for instance) are saving their badges so they can buy the exotic WvW weapons and armor.
Still better than wasting money on it.

End game hasn’t been finished yet.
GARBAGE!
The 64k Karma Vendors that I found sell T3 Level 80 Items, I found them in Ebonhawke and in any major City.
Put 4 items into the mystic forge → get a random item out of it, which is good for your character depending on the items you put in.
Do it as you like, there is no real noticable disavantage or advantage.
The Account wide dye & backpack slot thing won’t happen.
Nuff said.
They fixed that problem. You can trade gold coins for gems. And with the added feature of collectables, there is plenty of bank room.
Yeah at 20-30s at the moment per Diamond, but good luck collecting I think 800 of them to unlock the bank slot and bag slot (unless there is more bank slots at a higher cost).
And once people start earning more as they gain levels the demand goes up as does the price for the diamonds per gold. Then it will be more difficult.
Nop. 1 Gem =/= 20-30 Silver. (idk what that graph is showing but it is not the price of 1 Gem)
For 1 Gold 40 Silver I get 510 Gems, so it is pretty easy to get them.
Oh god…. people ruining the fun of discovering the recipes themselves.
I hate this.
My 2 cents
Maybe they can be used at the mystic forge?
Great answer. The mystic Forge!
Although I would pay for more content, I do think it brings the following issues with it:
- Less time is put into developing big expansions
- You can not play that extra content with people who don’t have it(like your friends for ex.), so you need to make sure they have the exact same DLC as you.
Furthermore, I do think that the Gem Store will be more than enough to keep Arena.net alive.
Look at LoL, people spend tons of money for skins which are useless.
So people will be spending money on gear skins, costumes, etc. just like people did it in Guild Wars 1, which had a very good live staff, who added 24/7 new stuff, like minigames, events, items & holiday things.
Though it’s probably just my own silliness I find it hard to watch the boons/conditions on myself over the top of my skill bar at the bottom of the screen, the enemy’s underneath their health bar towards the top, keeping track of cooldowns and the animation on the screen to dodge and evade. I’m not saying I want a level of mods equal to WoW, where people end up having a UI which looks nothing like the original game and is more convoluted than a government website and is pretty much necessary for you to have or you’re a total noob and can’t raid, but some simple customisation things like displaying the enemy’s health and status lower on the screen could be a great addition.
Hopefully I’m just a scrub and no one else finds it a bit muddled, just thought I’d let people on this forum know in case they were wondering about the future of add-ons in GWII.
You are supposed to look at your Character see if he is crippled, etc.
Play the Game not the UI, nuff said. No addons needed.
The whole Game is endgame, events, meta-events, dungeons with story mode(=easy mode) & explore mode(=rock hard mode) and exploration to the max in an insanely huge world.
You’ll be busy with getting Karma for those epic lv 80 items(costing about 64.000 Karma/piece, as far as I have seen, maybe even more).
Another important thing are twinks, it will take time getting them all to 80 if you don’t rush, get them equiped.
Last but not least, the full map completion. Getting 100% map completion will take some time.
There is literally tons and tons of hours you can spend in the game and endgame is just the game itself, it shoulnd be different. The whole game is endgame & it is great as it is.
I got a hang of the game after the first minute, this game will not hold you hand and give you stuff for free.
Beside there are tons of tooltips, a tips section ingame, a starting guide, a wiki, a walthrough(if you want to spend money) & pvp tutorials…
You sir need to look around and start using that nut in your head^^
Argh, NO!
No Damage output, no healing output, no stupid kills & collected items.
The Completion bars are more than fine since they do not pull you out of the experience by adding a generic x/x killed or collected like in other games.
Do not turn events into wow quests!!!
And do not add UI addons like that because they will let you play the UI rather than the game itself.
In my opinion they should even remove the bars and let you look at the Npcs ingame & the situation, look if they need more help or if the centaurs stopped attacking. That would enhance the experience a lot!

While the system limits the players it has the following advantages:
1) Less Skills to care about, you don’t have to be putting masses of skills onto your bar and remember what they all do
2) You can fully play with hotkeys(yay!) because there is only 9 skills not 32+
3) Skill matters(the right skill combination for the right moment & ofc the right use of it)
4) Weapon swap allows up to 15 different skills at a time(wizard 25) so they’re is still a ton of variety on a less big skillbar.
5) The scale suits the UI, atleast I have the feel that my whole screen isn’t filled with little skinn icons
6) In most others games with huge skill bars, only few of them are actually usefull
7) Easier to balance for the devs
Conclusion:
I think the system is perfect and should be expanded by adding more skills(which will happen for sure with an expansion or idk).
Love you Arena.net!
Ok, here a quick and clean answer.
1) There will be no wow like 10/25 man raids.
2) Events are not useless, they get you karma, and with karma you can buy rly epic shizzle, believe me I have seen the T3 Level 80 Items, they are downright epic & cost 64.000 Karma per piece.
3) This game is not focused on PvP….
4) The whole Game is endgame, stop with that wow mentality, events, meta-events, dungeons with story mode(=easy mode) & explore mode(=rock hard mode) and exploration to the max in an insanely huge world. I am very, very happy and think that PvE Content is 1000x better than WoW’s. WoW’s PvE is just a massive grind, they limit the amount of dungeons & raids you can do to keep you paying that sub. fee.
