BEFORE reading below…understand this: I under stand gw2 built the game largely around waypoints and secondly that I know wow has had so much more time to release updates and expansions so this is not suggestions for right now but in the future.

Ok, so I played WOW before I played Guildwars and I even played runescape before WOW but that doesn’t really matter. Anyways GW2 is the best game I have ever played not just the best mmo. Its truly amazing but there are some things that just don’t make it right to me. 70% of players will probably hate this idea but I think there should be way less waypoints! The whole freaking map is just waypoints and I think this takes away from the whole adventuring part of the game. They could have waypoints just at large group events or in a large settlement and of course cities would be great. I miss the adventuring that you were able to do in WOW. I think guild wars needs to take on that concept more. The fewer waypoints may make dying a bit complicated because you may have to backtrack a bit(no gravesites though, worst idea ever). This would also be able to introduce mounts into the game making it quicker to get through a large distance with no waypoints.

My other thought is that when I played WOW there was just this homeliness to it. Some may understand what i’m trying to describe but it was just how the cities were so open in wow and you could go in any building. Also how the ships at the docks would set sail at certain times and you sometimes would have to jump a gap if you were a little late and I just found that really nice and just enhanced the gameplay so much.

These are just some suggestions that I would like to see ingame. This was NOT to hate on GW2 because I love this game so much, it just i would like to see some improvements.

Maybe he should consider lvling. He should easily be able to get to 80 before this living story is done. Other option consider trying another achievement.

Anet you have made a huge improvement on southsun cove so its really awesome now, buttttttttt I myself and many others have found out how easy it is to get the 25 acheivments! I still enjoy doing some events there but I would love to see some new item your able to get there. Please consider it.

I decided go cloak and dagger build using runes of the thief on sylvari tier 2 armor and runes of infiltration on whispers armor(exotic). Primary dual daggers and secondary shortbow.

Im using tier 2 sylvari armor and anonmity hood transmuted with aidans arm rune of the pack. And I use dual daggers+Shortbow

What exotic armor sets would you reccomend? Or a variety of different armor together with the same rune.

Ugh , skritt do not have the fundamentals to be a playable race. They will never be one thank goodness.

Ok so I have a Sylvari Thief. I currently wear my tier 2 armor transmuted with Aidans armor. I also have a set of karma exotic gear. My biggest problem is that when I want to buy a new set on the trading post the options ARE SO LIMITED!!! Honestly, its crap. There are barely any choices and most of it looks awful! Has any body else noticed this? Please add new medium armor skins.

Where are the RNG chests? Are they the one’s that come after the crabtoss game or like beating a instigator?

I really like the idea of more guns for engineers and it would be nice to see the attacks changeup with a different type of gun, but i wouldnt want them to go overboard with guns on this.

You missed a few races in this post. There are tons possibilities since many races are smart and you can see the across the map with different professions (merchants, hunters, guards, etc). Many speak the common language or can interact well with the main races. I will post a few more with a certain potential (some of them they have towns of their own, some are considered extinct and some we may not even be aware about)

Being a Engineer isn’t for everybody, but find them particularly very fun to play with. I love the way they designed engineers in this game with all the different packs you can use like grenades, bombs etc… which give you lots of different attacks other then just using the rifle or pistol/shield combo. But the one problem I have with engineers is the no weapon swapping!!!! I mean come on really? Every other class has weapon swapping and can use 10 times the amount of weapons amount of engineers! Like warriors can almost use every weapon in the game! Please add weapon swapping to the engineer class, it would be very appreciated.

We are a smaller guild with currently 25 members. We have several ranks from soldier all the way to Emperor. We play on the Sever Northern Shiverpeaks. Are guild is too help out each others whether we want to do a dungeon run or to living story together etc. We accept all levels and there are no fees or anything to be part of this guild! Stone Dwarves have been critized so much on these forums. Its always the same thing being said over and over again, to much like norn, can’t reproduce, to busy fighting primordius or the most common… Anet has completely written them off because they are to stereotypical. Though it is true Dwarves have been used in many past mmo’s and I understand they are trying to develop their own look and style for example the charr. But if you look at the lore behind the dwarves and you will find how much opportunity there is in this race. Introducing them into the game would create totally new areas that are super original, new bosses, new dungeons, a new dragon!! among other things. Also addressing the norn similarity, yes they both come from norse myths but with the lore behind the dwarves in gw2 they are nothing like any dwarves anyone has ever seen before. I would really love to see them as a playable race but thats a stretch, atleast introduce them as npc’s and create some many possibilities

I actually really like this idea. I think adding a class like that would make the game very unique, with a new set of traits and weapons introduced. But a throwing spear while very cool in concept would be hard to incorporate into a game but it maybe easier than I think. Also we need Stone Dwarfs…..like right away.
