As we all know, both individual score within a match and leader-board standing are positively correlated with higher skill levels. In all of my wins I have garnered the highest score – except for the final win achieving rank 1, in which I was heavily focused and followed around the map.

Combat log still works. Make sure you actually have a tab open for the combat log.

Hydro crit on glass cannons, with a glass cannon build, has always averaged about 3.3k depending on modifiers. Now that you have access to more modifiers, this number sounds correct without having to do any math.

You know – we had talked about that the other day and I agree. While some people will submit that the root cause would be online games, people, or our generation of gamers – I would disagree and submit the community size as the cause, along with everything else Steb said.

I came here from GW1 expecting another amazing community. IVEX and other guilds in GW1 felt like an actual team that was there to try, learn, and progress as players. The community had little discord (except for where a guild or two were concerned as the sole source of much aggression), players generally assisted each other in becoming better – even across different teams. Even at the top of the ladder, there was little, if any, BM.

Coming to the GW2 community was like going to McDonald’s instead of that really nice restaurant you love – just because they promised you good food.

This is the real thread right here. However, Ostrich, I need to know where I place solo trolling since Bry isn’t on all the time for the duo to go to town. TBH, I still feel I would be in the neighborhood of 3 to 4, but surpassing Sataar has proven difficult since I get caught taking the game/match seriously sometimes.

This video has everything: suspense, anger, joy, laughter. Watch, as none of us can play engi and Hman rages about how he can’t play the engi turret build. He swaps to ele at some point, but it doesn’t matter because he leaves every team fight as the battle gets underway. You can also tell he’s trying really hard because his accent comes out. Pay attention, because someone on the other team dies to chieftan and, no, Acandis was not in the game.

One of my favorite parts is me going to the team fight, dropping a crate to give them turrets, and walking away.

In all honesty, people were yelling that staff ele bunker/hybrid/whogivesakitten was the counter – but then we would just put the turrets at nearly max range from the point to keep the pressure up and the player has to decide to go for the engi or the pressure turrets lol. Some pretty funny wins vs eles when the turrets are off point and you are on point.

Good idea, but that’s too much strategy for the people in this game to handle. Heck, most people can’t even react to the same class beating them up 10 times in a row. With changing utilities/skill points, you’ll just end up with a bunch of people complaining.

You obviously weren’t here for the first number of months the game came out. Players would counter comp you as you reached a point, kitten was funny but utterly ridiculous. The whole match was swapping the entire time to counter counters of the counter that countered you a few minutes ago. No thanks, I don’t feel like running with my character screen up the whole time again.

Currently, team BAMF is recruiting and looking to fill up to 2 spots and 1 or 2 alternates in the event we start to hate one of our teammates. We currently have myself and Bry as solid members.

Davinci may play, as his interest has grown, unlike some of his other attributes. Potential pitfalls include him losing connection frequently, him throwing his headset at a random person in an internet cafe and quitting mid-match, and just generally being an kitten.

Countless is a potential teammate because, let’s face it, if you’ve seen his “team” play you can’t really call it playing…more like pressing random buttons and hoping for the best. Potential pitfalls include his ttk of 7 minutes (enough time for the tumor to metastasize) and him being a ginger.

All potential applicants must be able to beat Kinjax in a best of 11 duel scenario as this is our litmus test. Falling to beat Kinjax means you are awful and, after 2 years of this nonsense, none of us have any patience left.

We’re looking for an engi/necro/ele or any type of moderately versatile player.

So, I’m gonna set the scene for everyone here: The Bear PuG consisted of: Doyourbestbear – out of practice, 9 vodkas in, and no working w key; Kinjax – the worst thief in the game; Davinci – on yet another account that will get banned and no working headset; Vain – self-proclaimed multiclasser who plays like a kitten just dropped in the toilet; and Hman – burrito aficionado and rain-maker of tacos.

We went up against the All-Star NA team, who had everyone except for Supcutie, Caed filling in. Basically, a 5v4 from the start since Caed is always in the downstate.

The people who could assist in balancing this game are mostly gone. The remaining few could assist in balancing just don’t give a kitten anymore because you have a philosophy major trying to balance a game that requires at least a minor in math.

A number of players…a vast number…have been complaining about elements of power creep proliferating within the PvP environment of the game.

One of my friends made me watch the Ready Up! discussion about engineers and rangers. Really, I can’t say I’m surprised, but my hope is that, at the very least, people realize that these increases in power in order for a stronger foothold viability-wise is only because of how much of an outlier other classes/skills/traits are.

Also, all of those ranger buffs…roflmao – I could say I really want to know how you all came to that conclusion but I already know how all those changes came to be.

This like watching someone mercilessly beating my child and I can’t do anything but say “whelp, hopefully it will be painless.”

It is with absolute resolution that I will petition for us to be able to dance as a community and have boat parties – but the dances must come from our GW1 fore-bearers.
