Guild Wars 2

I’ve tried to run this instance twice now each time resulting ending with a server issue from the games side. I know I haven’t any connectivity issues as I can do the rest of the map fine and move around and attack with out issue. It’s just this part of the story. Is this a bug or some odd issue?.

The entire point of linking weapons (and skills) to elite spec trait lines is so that you can’t use them with another elite spec once we have multiple ones.

^ This! it starts becoming Very broken Very quickly and we don’t want to have to sit through 12 gig patches when they realise hey’d have to nerf EVERY class, it’s weapons and specs.

As always with class choices it should come down to what they, the player wants to play. If they like ranged classes they are a few from pure bow and arrow ranged to magic wheilding ranged. For the one’s who enjoy being the tank there’s like two ( three if you count the elite reaper class) really fun classes to play. With guildwars there’s so much variety as well as race’s to choose. Each class has it’s upsides and downsides but they are all fun!.

I’ve read both the wiki page entry on this and watched several videos on how to do it and I’m still incredibly stuck on it. It’s gotten to the point where I’m just frustrated, it seems my jumps aren’t landing where the video’s or pictures show them or the timing of the lava spurts is irreducibly unfair.

I would love a messmer to help me up it BUT it takes away from being able to open that chest at the end and getting the achievement and mastery and that also seems unfair. Any one else in the same boat as me and just really, really stuck on it?

I’m keeping mine I wish I had with the Broken Calabrog ( treherne’s sword) but I scraped it. Thankfully I have the skin unlocked…

I have so many odd items though from previous events I had some of the currency from super block adventure till I finally bined them. Knowing my luck I’ll regret that XD.

Any one have any con’s of playing the elite Reaper class?

I can literally only think of pro’s. It adds loads more variant to our game play as necro’s and some how made us a little more tanky ( almost like a secondary tank option).

If you play minion master/reaper combo not much can stop you. Whilst it’s all good the one con is the combat in PVE can get a little stale due to it. I know I should try other builds but I’ve found what works for me. It makes my life a little bit more easy ( sometimes I don’t have hours to play).

Any one else have something to say/share?

I’ve managed World completion ( the map that counts) on a mixed bag of items. From low level magiction ( starting gear stuff) to Viper and other nice things.

I’ve found in all of that it doesn’t really matter what your gear is like so long as it works for you. Build wise Vampire bite or what ever the trait is called is a must!. With out doing anything you have a much higher chance of randomly gaining back health. This works in your favor, specially around world/map bosses. You have your build set up in a good way you’ll never go down or your health will stay pretty up there for the pve content.

it’s not. Red labeled players in Ember bay are likely using the Massat armour. It turns them into a enemy so you know nothing can attack them. Since you have no weapons or ability’s in the disguise it works in your favor.

O_o I thought there were 5 playable races?

there are 5 playable races BUT humans where playable in GW1 the 4 new playable ones where added for GW2 and they are:

Asura
Charr
Norn
Slyvari

Sure if they ever do another Guild wars game then maybe another playable race, maybe it could be a prequel to all the stuff in GW1 so no Slyvari. But we would have Norn’s, Human’s, asuras, charr and something else. To be honest it’s all speculation.

It’d be nice to know what they plan on doing with this supper cute baby. Yes I’d personally love a cuddly toy version of it ( to the point I may get out the hook and yarn XD). But it doesn’t help me know what the gm’s plan to do with her story wise. I’d like a few options for playable story lines for Rangers to help raise her into the bad kitten dragon she will be. And other options for other classes that take her a different route etc. But these are all possibilitys not definite.

So I absolutely love dragons and when this lil cutie hatched I just sat there in utter joy at her adorable squeeks and head bobs ( along side thous adorable eye’s I mean how can you not love her).

It’s nice that we have a super cute hatching to adore I just have a few questions: in the next episode will we be getting quests that involve helping raise her? Or now that she’s hatched do we just leave her to the “glowey guys” s majory calls them?.

Erm so just a new way for my self got ya!.

I saw a rise in the first few days of gold sellers much more than usual instead of the one or two there where three or four a day popping up. Again this is Just after it launched f2p, so it was a Event of some scale ( more profit for the gold sellers since new players may not really know the T’s & C’s of Anet or any MMO).

So I’ve had gold sellers contact me via personal mail ( the average way of doing it), and by map chatting. But I came across a new one today. Whispering. I know a lot of Gold sellers are possibly hacked accounts. But please be wary of them.

Each and every Gold seller that I come across has been reported via the in game system and thankfully it’s not as bad as it once was, they seem to have calmed down from what it was after it went f2p. Any one else notice this new little trick or it may not be that new just something that hasn’t happened until today.

Thing is my no means am I new player to GW just JP’s can be pretty hard for some one with Dyspraxia and Anxiety when one or the other could trigger from something small. Might finish getting all the mastiers I can from the HOT content then go round the map doing jp’s just so I’m not as shaky etc.

I managed it but I think I gained it more as a glitch then actual jumping. Moved to a new map and it droped me ontop of the mastery point O_O./ Still I’ll give the jumping every where trick a try XD. Thanks for all the help.

tbh Fade To black it’s every single jumping puzzle just that’s the one that has my anxiety WAY up there to almost cause a panic attack.

I have server Anxity and Depression and try to live with it on a day to day basis the current jumping puzzle that is setting me off is the one above the canopy in verdant Brink to grab the mastery there. I get to a certain point ( normal 3-4 jumps away from reaching it) and start panicking and I mess up and I’m left to start again from a lower point or having to go from the Broken bluffs waypoint as I got stuck with no way out. I’m wanting to know if I’m the only one who get’s anxiety spikes on these puzzles or if any one else gets them.

No idea if i’m bugged or it was intentional, but I can’t get past the first part of the episode. I went back to it to do some mastery/achievement farming now I can’t progress part part one as it keeps giving the error " this is not your personal story all progress made will not be saved". Any one else have this problem?

Do’s any body know how to get to this vista near the order of whispers way point and mastery? Been trying to get to it for ages but still haven’t figured out how to get there normally I use the wiki but there is no info there either.

I have just stared my own guild named " The Dark Whispers" I’m aiming to be a role playing guild. Any one is free to join but I’d prefer mature players who don’t mind the odd spelling or grammatical error coming from the leader.

I’ll be doing weekly events that you can choose to come along to but if you do please note the role playing consent rules as listed below on this post. I don’t mind if your new to role play or if your a master story weaver so long as you are kind and considerate of others.

Rules of consent for roleplay:

No god modeing! I don’t want to see some one saying or rping " I stabed so-and-so and there now dead" as a action with out the others consent.

No Sex/rape- I’m not that sort of guild leader, leave it at home or personal interactions in a safe and PRIVATE environment. Yes this means if you feel the need to do that sort of rp WHISPER the kitten thing no one wants to walk past that Trust me on this.

Be kind to others. I don’t want the sort of rper who makes others feel uncomfortable as they are picking on others skill or lack of skill in the rp world. Remember we all started some where give them chance to blossom.

Have Fun! This is the most important rule I would like my guildies to follow. If you find your self not having fun then stop. try something else for a while.

got it in the end the grind to “level” is pretty fun and fast so far and dosnt feel well grindy.

So I’m stuck on Establishing a foothold. I have no idea where to even begin with this one. And since it seems I need a glider for the map I’m at even more of a loss as I can not find a singular easy mastirey point that will grant me the glider.

I’m looking for a nice rp guild, I left Wheel of entropy today as it’s been dead for months now. On the character in question She’s a level 80 Necro, of the Sylvari race. I’m on the piken square server and looking for something that’s pretty much part time, but has the odd nice little story thing going on.

Btw I’m using the staff powers on my Necro to do this with. I swear they’ve nerfed them a LOT.

@Aerinndis, it’s the second part where he’s jumping from cliff face to cliff face throwing bombs etc at my toon that I’m getting annoyed at. As soon as I run into the power crystals to get back up from being knocked down and try to activate there skill it’s gone and I’m stuck trying to dogde and avoid the jungle tenticle’s for a few seconds. I’ve tried this at least three times. I put looking for group’s up and no one seems interested in helping. I’ve even done the map ask ands again na-da. I’ll try again one more time and if I fail again I’m just putting guildwars down for a good long time.

Then I’ll just quit the story line simple as . I’ve been playing gw2 since release just been on and off with a few things. There has been a lot of changes and yes I struggle. NOT every one can spend hours upon hours getting things right.

So haw many times did you guys haveto try and solo Cornered. I’ve been looking for a group to help with it but it’s seems kinda pointless. No one seems to be at the same point in the story as me at the time and tbh I’m fed up with the fighting part.

Bah. Time to party hunt for this little one then. Might have to try my guild see if any one fancies helping out ( if any ones active that is)

I’ve targeted the lower ones to get rid of them one by one as what would normally be a good idea in a situation like this but then I always end up getting rushed by the two silver level risen whatever’s. So I’m not even able to get to the power cores. Yes I really am that useless. Bare in mind I’ve had gw2 since release and this is the first time getting to this mission or level 80 for that matter.

What else can I do?

Thanks. It’s just very very misleading. Least I know where to go now and I have a way point down in sparkfly fin from going that way for some rp with some fellow guildies at one point. Should make it a little easier to get down to it.

The official Guildwars 2 Wiki will be your best buddy when trying to find vista’s etc on a map. You should be easily able to level 10 or so in your races starting area at a push even 20. There is so much diversity on how Guildwars 2 works it’s pretty hard not to be able to level after a while.

I’m stuck on how to enter the instance as it’s in Lorene pass but behind a locked gate and there is no way I can see how to get into the area as it’s one of the asua gates. The gate from lions arch takes you to another completely so stuck on how to progress with my main’s personal story.

Simple I just adore anything of high fantasy and the Sylvari have that edge, there also very pretty, I was hooked when the devs released the race in the preview section of the Guild wars 2 web sight. Currently playing a Necromaner with the dagger/focus and staff variants.

This is my Necro, love playing as a necromancer so much on the original guild wars Id thought I’d go that way here and the Sylvari make such elven looking creatures of beauty yet, deadly.

Don’t know if it’s just me or what but I’ve tried for a cupple of days now to create a support account and nothing’s working, been though around 40 captia’s not getting a support account created page, nothing. Even checked my junk mail incase it dosn’t do that but still nothing, as it keeps the form filled and stuck at the create part.

here’s my problem since I signed up when Hotmail was still well hotmail I moved my Guildwars 2 serial number and account info into a sub folder, once it changed to Outlook it automaticly wiped that folder so now I don’t have my game’s serial number. How can I prove I own this account if it get’s hacked with out this Valuable information. Is there any way to replace it with out paying for another Client ( and I can’t realy do that)

I’m on the EU servers and came here once I stopped being able to log in as I’ve already been in game today I knew it had to be something else.

I wasn’t even getting in to the game it was overheating at patch level..cleaned her out that took me over an hour to carefully EVERY last scrap of dirt, grim and Dog fur.

Going to re-try installing it then see where it go’s from there.

Tell me about it but she’s a goodie, OLDIE but goodie, I’ll have to take her open again and give her a good clean out, and mayhap’s once I have cash upgrade to quad core as she’s already on a cooling pad ( Acer have really bad over heating issues)

Right I’v been playing Guilld wars 2 on the following machinde since release, and never had a problem with updates till today

Every time I run the update patcher it’s Blacking out andd overheating my machine VERY randomly, Please don’t tell me to upgrade as I can’t afford too and this machine has had no problems till now, so any other advice?

So I just updated my 4xxx HD Ati radon card to the 12.6 version and as soon as I log in game I see nothing just a big blue screen with the hp’s and skill for my toons but nothing else.

Wondering if I should do a roll back to the 12.4 system of the drivers as the game was stable and playable on them.

Any advice would be appreciated thanking you.
