Yep. fact is still there though. Most of the time though In 5 or so seconds a downed thief will pop up…

So got my thief to 80 last week. Been running wvw trying to learn the mechanics.
A lot more clicking then my warrior and guardian that’s for sure.

I’m running 25 Deadly arts/30 Crit strikes/15 Acrobatics build using d/d sb.

I’m running full Zerkers. it works great I don’t die as much as I thought I would.

But is there a way to get a bit more survival without having to use a pistol build? I have a necro so. I’m sort of sick of conditions.

Hey. I haven’t played in about 5 months or so. I was wondering if anyone can tell me if they made condition builds a bit better or not? Also are there any other significant changes?

i know that even high-end-beast-freak-rigs couldn’t achieve higher framerates than about 35 if around 75+ players are slapping each other, but i really want to do some WvWvW and simply can’t…or would anyone say it’s “playable” if you can’t properly avoid or target enemys?
some guy came at me, i wanted to target him. since using the mouse isn’t an option, because the pointer is uncontrollable during such framerates/spikes, so i tabbed. of course the tab button only choosed people as far away as possible. having no target selected and then let autoselect choose a target does the same thing.
i ended up being killed while ton’s of bags spawned around me.
—> ragequitted lol.

but since so many players do actively participate in WvWvW, i only can come up with the conclusion that they got higher framerates thanks to some magic fix.
i highly doubt, that they are that masochistic…

playing the underdog is fun to me. I also love condition damage.

Tarnished Coast has a very strong but not large presence when compared to KA/BG. We’re a bit outnumbered around 3a EST and later but you it doesn’t show on the score board because I think our later hour players are some of the most skilled on our server. If you’re looking for people to play with while keeping the atmosphere competitive and not a zerg-fest, I think TC would be the best fit for you.

Isn’t TC a t3 server? I’m kind of supprised you say its not a zerg fest.

I’m in all honestly sick of being one of the 5 people in EB at night, I’m a late night gamer. Usually on weekdays from 12-5am. (EST)

So what servers have a decent night time wvw player base? But don’t actually steamroll over everyone else at those hours, cause lets face it, that’s boring.

Just want to thank those who have joined us on teamspeak and in WvW, it has been fun this week so far. Was a great decison to bypass last week wvw, and get more involved in this. So far it been working well. Glad to some peeps working together for the greater good on our server. To those who argue with AR. Don’t sweat it. There was a reason i left AR. Of course here comes the troll comments. But to those who know me, honor above all. So again glad to have made new friends and working with outher guilds. It getting better day by day. thanks for all the work

The problem is that you guys tanked last week for a ‘change of scenery’ which also happened to involve dropping into a lower tier where you knew that coverage was in your favor. Not saying the fights aren’t fun, but tier 7 is broken simply because GoM and HoD are both too lightly populated for WvW purposes to stand up to servers of the size of NSP or DH.

I’m glad your server is ‘coming together’ but I fail to see how ‘the greater good’ is served by simply dropping to a tier where you can PvDoor during coverage gaps instead of working towards the ‘greater good’ of fighting through things in a tier to which your population is more suited.

Regardless of my above QQ (accurate, but QQ nonetheless), I am glad to be rid of DH and we’re seeing some nice changes in the fights, but the overall situation for GoM hasn’t really changed with the arrival of NSP.

This…. but it is what it is. I still have fun killing. Who needs towers and keeps anyways.

Okay, So i’m having trouble with bleed stacking in pve. (Havent taken it into pvp or wvw yet) I use septer/dagger and staff. I cant seem to get more then 10-12 bleeds on a target. Can anyone recommend a good combo or something?

Month after month of the same matchups. This game is sucking.

I just want to say that I LOVE camping the jumping puzzles. I find it fun and reading peoples posts about how they hate people camping the jumping puzzles really just makes me laugh and want to do it more. Also I find it more fun when you kill someone and they bring in people to HELP them out to get through it. It is also fun when people are camping against me and I have to bring people to help me because it becomes more of a challenge than just an easy JP that I have done a million times and could do with my eyes closed. It’s not that difficult to get past campers just get guildies or other people around to come in their with you! It’s fun to fight groups that aren’t huge zergs and to create a challenge in there.

I agree. But when you kill a thief who thinks themself a god in 1v1. They will call in a zerg to help them.

D/D has it all

Damage, control, tank, healing, and tons of escape/engage abilities.

And if you get downed, by some miracle, you just Vapour Form back to your own zerg or into a keep. kittenol.

It reminds me of Bright Wizards in WAR; another game where casters are (or were, I guess) totally overpowered in melee.

For some reason people in this game assume each and every D/D ele they run across uses the very same build they stigmatized as “D/D bunker”. Problem is, that’s not reality.

People run into a 0/10/0/30/30, full PVT + clerics D/D Ele. That guy can take alot of punishment (his damage output is pathetic tho), and escapes 5 people chasing him. -> “OMG D/D SO TANKY!”

Then people run into a D/D that uses 0/20/0/20/30 or w/e, lots of knights/valkyries, maybe even some zerker in there. That guy delivers quite some burst and DPS -> “OMG D/D SO MUCH DAMAGE!”.

And then they come to the following conclusion: “OMG D/D SO TANKY & D/D SO MUCH DAMAGE!”. This is nonsense tho, because basically, these have been 2 different builds.

I play a staff ele or warrior. But I have to agree here. D/D ele isnt that big of a deal. I mean an ele built to take hits can take hits? Who knew. I laugh when a d/d ele tries to “kill” my war in 1v1.

I love it. You can rally in it to. Whats not to love?

This is where warriors are fun. Roaming in its prime. I love how warriors can catch just about anyone.

Last night was fun in the jp. Lest fight like that more often. No zergs to back you up in there usually.

“Coward” would be perfect..Frees you from all cripples/chills/immobilizes and Knocks back/stuns your foe for 2 seconds. Long range, 45 second cooldown. If the target was more than 900 away, cd is 20 sec. No more RtL escape elems or shortbow rushing thieves away from us to reset. Perfect tool for our mobility

I for one have no interest in any teaming up. I like to roam an kill both servers. Like this afternoon how Barvost gate was wide open ( Dh had it. ) and there were 2 GoM inside. That was an easy cap for HoD. After I called for help taking down the boss.

All this hate on HoD is pretty funny, We have maybe 10-15 people if we’re lucky, Yet here you are running your mouth like you accomplish something, Good job taking vacant towers, Props to you.

Anyways fun fights, I’m the one lone warrior who can’t seem to get enough suicide bombing into your zergs, Lets have some more fun.

Just pick your fights better. But then agian I dont zerg. And no mobility? Sig of rage, bull rush, gs5 and 3? These catch or run from most. Dont expect to just spam 100 blades and pray. (That works on those puny backstab wannabe thieves though. Its adorable.)

Who cares if its a one trick pony. If I get the drop on someone, kitten right im going to BR-Frenzy-Hb. That being said. Always have a fall back plan, in case of those “oh crap!” skills. Thats why I also love Shield axe for its damage and defense.

A glass cannon is geared and traited for power precision and crit damage with no defensive gears.
