Unless you ar with some good Ele in the party to stack might, your only source will be what? GS AA and Virtue of Justice for 3 stacks? kitten , so much might, can’t even handle. This is you don’t run Staff, but running a worthless weapon just for 1 skill, and lose other 4? Yeah, how about no?

Right now I’m with Scholar. I like it, but beside inicial burst, with pugs, you will have trouble to stay above 90%. But since I already have them, and I don’t feel like spending 90g, or replacing them with cheaper ones, they will stay. Maybe I change for Strength when I have my Ascended armor

To get some good fights.
Meanwhile you go out to find em you’ll kill dollies, sentries and maybe get camps only to raise some attention.
WHEN you gonna get zerged down or ignored by enemy zergs you report it in chat cause you are, basically, a gentlemen.

Fix perplexity runes and do some balance across classes.
That’s the best bugs you can fix at the moment folks.

Gandara gonna play as usual no matter medals (we play for fun and open fights mainly), take it for granted.
That means Silver gonna be a fun league from 3rd spot down, top 2 gonna be Blobbadons/Desolation imo.
Both of em servers “played” very well lately to drop down.

Was about to slinger kitten to VS peeps cause they almost all run away from 1vs1 to guards or run away and get back in 3-5, then i had the pleasure to fight a VS Ele near sentry sw from Garrison in VS border for 10 mins.
Ended in a draw (and he persuaded 2 times peeps to avoid adding after they tried to) but it was FUN!

to the elona guys we fought at ruins/briar a few times last 2 days: quit suiciding to get our catas, we don’t care for them. It’s not fun for u to die 8v3 like that and its not fun for us either if u dont even target us. 5-8 guys should be putting up a fight, not rushing catas and dieing to the first epidemic.

to fsp we fought today [nib] and others: it was alot of fun for us, someone from your server was telling us u were mad at us. don’t! we are good sports and never laughed or jumped on your corpses, no reason to be mad. that balista at longview was unnecessary tho.

Do keep in mind that it takes multiple people from different servers to duel. For every person from your server dueling, there is someone from the other server dueling. Ultimately, it evens out.

That is, same goes with GvG.

Call mother Anet to destroy our fun and expect people draining your precious supply building rams in middle of nowhere, now that would hinder your precious PvD points.

To be completely honest yesterday night i logged out in disgust after seeing all of 3 servers mainly zerging the kitten out of each other, while we kept going out in Guild Group of 15 and i saw all of the good tags we fought on even terms the rest of the week: [dw], [TIA], [Pony], [BLAK] and co involved in aformentioned zergs.
That said rest of the week was quite fun and intertaining fighting same tags so i won’t complain that much ^^

Go figure i hoped you could only charge em from enemy players kills in WvW …

Afaik [TDA] are former members of [dw] – that must have been kind of a strange feeling I guess. Bad enough to see good people leave RS, even worse to have to fight them.

[TDA] is [TDA]: core of guild is ex Daocers go figure.
Now i’ve been out for 2 weeks and i can’t vouch if any [dw] members joined our ranks, but that’s a different story :o

Yep was a fun night despite the huge numbers around which i don’t particularly like.
Kudos to both AR and Rs for some good fights tho!

I roam solo and in small men guild groups, either way i run is cause i find it more fun and challenging than other aspects of WvW, that said my guild is in excellent relations with many commanders, giving info in map chat, dropping by taking camps to support undergoing sieges and help get towers or keeps, go defending against all odds towers and generally speaking our commanders on Gandara are well aware of roaming groups and DO ask us if in trouble.

I never understood all the fuss about the so called different playstyles.

As far as points … who gives a rat? It all boils down to numbers.

Soooo to sum it up:
CNTK, JDGE, TDA, XxX (strictly in alphabetical order) and all the small men guilds on Gandara zergs and Kodash runs in small men and get zerged …

Ring of Fire friends, I know you don’t get much WvW experience, but when someone salutes you twice after helping you and emotes a /no after you hit them and they clearly don’t fight back, don’t you think they’re trying to signal … something?

I seccond this, found a in open field 1 on 1 RoF today that I bowed to, he attacked in the bow unsure what I did, so I downed him. Backed of and let him res. Then I did a /bow…. he attacked again without any understanding of social emoting etc. So feld obligated to down kill and place a ram on him.

Tbh nothing wrong with some social emots and communication between servers when open field. Usualy ist just fun.

oh, since we are at it. I found myself in honorable 1vs1 and after time there came more and i ended up 1vs3 most of the time. That happened with Gandarans and peopel from Drakkar, so what is your point exactly? i get chased by stupid heartseeker spamming thieves and i don`t come to the forums and moan about them. If you want to duel go to windmill….

If there were a real risk over gaining ratio in game, ppl would start to spread a bit i guess.
As long as you gain same loot and wxp doing things in 5 or 500 the problem won’t get fixed imo.

I´m playing both and WvW seems kinda holiday in comparison to tPvP. I don´t wan´t to generalize but the average “follow the commander” players sometimes don´t really know what to do.

You might want to compare tPvP players with WvW small men Guilds, not with the follow the icon and siege crap around typical Zerger.

All good hints, shame that the main problem in large fights it’s skill lag, which ain’t Client related …

i really thought that game is age 12+ , but the more often i read that forum and read people´s “numbers” i am not longer sure about that .. 60, 70, 200 … well

personally i guess there are “blobs” (what about zergs, what makes a zerg to a blob :p) at about 30-50 ppl max and most ppl arent able to count. and theat 30-50 ppl can be found on every server in that game

its alot of childish threads during this bracket and i dont even know why…. last bracket aba was outnumbered but noone cried – learn to play with it – its not to hard.

You still don’t get that the problem aren’t numbers, it’s instead skill lag caused by 80 ppl running around packed up.

Not to bash a dead horse but every single game has an auto loot system at disposal which puts loot in your inventory if it is within a certain range.

While in PvE it isn’t a big deal (whilst anyway a time consuming and not fun operation to accomplish) in the heat of WvW battles is really annoying and crippling.

Since i can’t imagine that it would be a real technical headache to implent, is there any valid argument against it?

I wanna Aoe, no matter what, to get a badge somehow should be the topic’s title in the end

That’s already the case. Confusion was dealing with auto-attacks zergs, not retaliation.

Having a wider variety of servers to fight is a good idea, i guess the rng needs a tweak tho!
