The Chak Gerent is just fine

I agree the event is fine. It still fails a lot, but i’ve completed it several times with pugs. No teamspeak, no big guild. Just people who aren’t running pvt gear, use food buffs and know the mechanics.

The Chak Gerent reveals a truth that wasn’t as apparent with vanilla GW2; The average pug is just bad. Terribly bad. It didn’t matter before HoT, since almost every event could be zerged into oblivion in minutes, no matter how bad the players were. They won by sheer numbers.

Have you ever tried checking players at Chak Gerent? 50% don’t use food, 40% use mf food or some crappy low level food, and if you’re lucky 10% use appropriate dps food. Today the commander dropped food at the wp and told everybody repeatedly to eat it, in 4 different languages, and there were still people that didn’t eat it.

People don’t know the mechanics and don’t bother asking, because they are used to getting carried through difficult events by better players. Players wearing PVT or Knight’s armor go to SCAR lane, then complain when the event fails due to lacking DPS. Yesterday i saw a player running after the Gerent for 2 minutes while it was buried, trying to hit it. Another player kept running into the pheromone cloud (donut) to res others, ofc dying in the process. He didn’t learn from his mistake and kept dying like that repeatedly.

The Chak Gerent is not that difficult, players are just plain bad. I’ve noticed the event succeeding far more in the early hours of the day, when most casual players don’t play and the average player quality is much higher.

It’s definitely a l2p issue.

2) Actually it does make a large difference and I’m incredibly surprised that you don’t understand that. It almost makes me wonder if you even did the calculations yourself. You do realize that crafting something like deldrimor ingot and then selling it at the buy order price still yields a profit, right? You’re completely ignoring that there’s a profit margin for some of the ascended materials simply because they are time-gated and people are impatient.

3) We go back to my original post.

https://www.gw2bltc.com/en/item/29181-Zap

You stated that it was wrong. I asked you to show how but instead you ignored that and started arguing about the links and how they were 19 days old.

The theoretical cost of using a material for crafting is always going to be it’s TP price. If Spiritwood planks were 7g to craft and 10g on the TP, you would “lose” 3g (minus taxes) every time you used one for crafting instead of selling it. It’s not as clear as gold directly leaving your wallet, but it’s the loss of an unrealized profit.

It can be cheaper to craft all the time-gated materials you need, but not by much. Let’s look at an example using the above prices: You need 10 Spiritwood Planksfor an item.

Scenario 1) You instantly buy 10 planks of the tp for 100 gold. This means that over the next 10 days you can sell your daily plank, since you no longer need them for crafting. Each plank sells for 10g -15% taxes= 8.5g. Subtracting the 7g crafting cost leaves you with 1.5g profit for each plank, or 15g over a 10 day period. Since you recuperated 15g, the final cost of this scenario is 85 gold.

Scenario 2) You craft all 10 planks over the course of 10 days. Remember that their value is not the crafting cost, but what you could sell them for. Since you could sell them for 10×10g -15% taxes, the total cost of scenario 2 is 85g (Even though you only directly spent 70g on crafting them).

As you can see, it literally makes no difference whether you craft or buy the Spiritwood planks. Real prices are slightly different and you might save some gold, but not much.

I mentioned the age of the reddit post because you brought it up in relation to the 600g crafting cost. The market has changed so much since then that you cannot rely on the cost estimates made in it.

You were right that i calculated wrong though. I had counted the deldrimor cost of the first tier twice for some reason. If we take away that it still costs 850ish gold to craft, which is the current buy order. This is not accounting for the hours spent crafting instead of earning gold, or the tons of account bound materials used (Karma, geodes, bandit crests etc.)

I’m not saying no one should craft their precursors, all I am saying is that you shouldn’t if your main goal is to save money.

So what IS the point of precursor crafting

Such as what? The cost was more or less in line with what someone else found which was just over 600G.

https://www.reddit.com/r/Guildwars2/comments/3rb2x3/bolt_ii_the_perfected_sword_guide/
https://www.reddit.com/r/Guildwars2/comments/3rb4cl/bolt_iii_zap_partial_guide_as_this_cant_be/

Just because you chose to buy the time-gated materials at their sell order prices doesn’t mean that it’s more expensive to craft.

1) I based my calculations on the crafting cost, not the TP cost.
2) From an economic point of view, crafting vs buying time-gated materials makes next to no difference. If you craft them all yourself you save money. If you buy them off TP it costs more, but you can sell all the time-gated materials you craft (and now don’t have to use for precursor crafting since you already bought those) for the exact same price difference (-15% taxes).
3) The reddit post you link to is 19 days old. Back then it WAS profitable to craft instead of buying, since there still was a pre-HoT surplus of materials on the market. Notice how I mentioned crafting The Legend shortly after expansion launch and saving money?

Since then prices have roughly doubled for most materials, so it is no longer possible to save money by crafting most precursors. The price for crafting Zap i calculated several days ago was 1100g by the way. Feel free to prove me wrong using today’s material prices.

So what IS the point of precursor crafting

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Garrisyl.7402

It is about having them now. They choose to pay the higher cost to have the time-gated materials now.

Just look at Zap

https://www.gw2bltc.com/en/item/29181-Zap

You could craft it, sell it at the highest buy order price and still make a profit.

This is wrong, the information on gw2bltc is lacking several ingredients for the crafted precursor. It is currently several hundred gold more expensive to craft Zap than to buy on tp. I just crafted Bolt today, and believe me I checked more than once.

I also crafted The Legend several days after expansion launch, that actually saved me roughly 200 gold. Seeing as wood is 90% of the ingredients and has more than doubled in price since then, it’s probably way more expensive to craft than to buy too now.

Anyone who starts crafting a precursor now is either too rich to care, or too oblivious to realize he is gonna lose a lot of money by crafting instead of buying. You are essentially paying a few hundred gold for a minimal amount of lore and story at this point.

Or maybe they could add some way to guarantee that you will be turned to Crystal, maybe some trophy you could hold in your inventory of some buff you could pick up from an NPC. I dunno.

That’s a really good suggestion. As it stand now, this part of the collection is absolutely ridiculous. Counting clones and pets, there are 150+ potential targets for the crystal prison, giving you a 1/30 chance of getting hit. Since the Shatterer is not even immune to blinds, he is pretty much permablinded by the zerg, causing the entire crystal prison to miss and not hit any players.

Me and several others tried all weekend, and not one of us was imprisoned. At this rate I’ll probably drop the precursor before I complete the collection.

I don't get all of the QQing

Garrisyl.7402

Its an expansion. Things are supposed to be gated.

Says who?

ANet could have done what WoW does and made us level up AND need new gear for those levels.

Instead we have horizontal progression for our characters and skills and we get to do this with the gear we already have.

This argument doesn’t even make sense. The masteries and stories being gated behind millions of exp and weeks of gameplay is just as “bad” as what other MMOs do in their expansions. What you call “horizontal progression” is essentially the same as vertical progression, with only slight nuances. It’s not really horizontal progression when it’s required to progress in the game.

Alot of you folks just need to play the kitten ed game and stop complaining if you want your unlocks.

People are playing the game, that’s exactly why they are complaining. Because they are forced to grind before they can enjoy the new stuff.

I think that it is a complete joke that people assumed that could unlock everything in a day. Are you joking me?

No one expected to unlock everything in a day. But many people expected to be able to choose in what order to unlock stuff.

You are also focusing on a single side of the issue and ignoring the larger picture. People feel that gating content behind tremendous exp grinds is a cheap way to add artificial difficulty to the game, and make it feel like we got more content than we actually got. Want that mastery point/ hero challenge? Too bad, you need x mastery to access it. Want x mastery? That’s 5 million exp, please grind these same 10 events over and over and over and over again.

It doesn’t help that half of the event mobs don’t even yield exp or loot, that many events are bugged, and the new participation tracker system is merciless. Died after doing 90% of the event? Too bad you weren’t there when it finished, no reward for you.

You also need to play through the story with each of your alts in order to unlock the specialization. Sitting through the same unskippable cutscenes and dialogues for the 4th time gets tedious, especially since you’re not even gaining exp or loot in the instances.

And don’t even get me started on the 400 Hero Points and Hero challenges that are in remote locations but require a small zerg to complete. Terrible design.

I still enjoy the expansion, but those are all valid points. Saying “stop the qq, just play the game” doesn’t cut it.

im playing this kitten build right now dude…. bad players or not they all die, i dont use clones to try fool people i use them to shatter and cause more problems for my enemy, stealth lets me sit there regenerate and watch them melt for a bit before my next burst

i can keep 6 stacks of confusion on them all the time, condi cleanses are stuck behind a large cd way longer then the speed i can stack conditions. i have 1 reflect 1 invulnerability 3 stealth sources cc and a block as well as a condi transfer, even a necro cant kill me because its gear does not work unless they can see me or i am not blocking/invulnerable, even if they get a lucky one off i just shove it right back on them.

it i literally my first time playing this spec and i rarely play mesmer in general i should be a free lootbag, imagine if i actually knew what i was doing

it could just be my mmr but these people are alot harder to beat on other classes

ps i didn’t even need to look up metabattle the build is obvious if you just read the traits while picking them…….

You lost all credibility when you posted the story about how you never played mesmer before, started playing with a condi build and people just started dropping left and right of you, winning “almost all my 1v1s” despite the fact you have 350+ ping and can’t dodge.

You should really try harder when making up stories about certain build’s op’ness, because what you said makes it pretty obvious you’re either lying or have never played a condi mesmer.

Also, you have a post history of qq-ing about mesmer, here’s a gem:
“i can go nuts on clones all day, the mesmer can produce them faster then you can kill them and you are doing exactly what the mesmer wants you to do, stand next to the clones so it can shatter them. here is an example
i can put down 2 wells and the clones are still standing after this.. with more being pumped out at the same time, it takes a full life transfer to take out the clones, (as if the mesmer is going to let that happen) this is on my tanky build with 2k power 3k defence and bloodlust with 45% crit chance.”

I won’t take anything you say about mesmer serious after this.

Condi mesmer is mediocre at best and fades in comparison to every other meta condi build. It’s frustrating to play against, but that doesn’t make it op. You people need to accept that simple fact and take your qq elsewhere.

More clones=more shatter options.

While you are technically correct, the current clone production from all sources is already so high that the main limit to shattering are the shatter cooldowns, not the number of clones. You can alreayd easily achieve a full shatter whenever one is of cooldown. I very much doubt that increased attack speed on scepter will have more than a negligible effect on the shatter mechanic.

Garrisyl.7402

No matter what happens, people will ALWAYS complain about mesmer. It’s class philosophy is literally to be deceptive and frustrating to play against, so naturally you get a lot of qq no matter how balanced the class is.

Condi mesmer’s main source of damage is confusion stacks, so it only really wrecks new players who spam their skills. Any experienced player will just laugh while kiting you and your slow-motion pink orbs until they cleanse it or it wears off. The passive ticks from confusion help a little, but hardly enough. And to get those stacks in the first place you must set-up and hit the burst, which is painfully obvious and basically impossible in team fights due to excessive amounts of cleave and aoe.

It doesn’t help that everyone packs tons of cleanses atm due to the burning meta.

Add to that the general class squishiness and the fact that any cc will wreck your face in like a baseball bat to a marshmallow aaaaand voilà: the bad to mediocre condi mesmer build.

But people will still complain about it, because they used a skill on a target and it wasn’t the real one.

this is true whenever a precursor is bought from the tp, the gold needed to purchase it is usually collected from all over the place, it doesnt matter if someone got the gold from gems or farmed it in game.

Yes, but collecting it alone takes more effort and time than taking it from a large group of players in an instant. Gem conversion enables precursor buying to a group of players that otherwise wouldn’t be willing or able to commit to buying a precursor. More potential buyers leads to higher prices.

In addition, the money from the group you are “taking” from, was not intended for buying precursors from their side. Through currency exchange you are re-purposing and effectively re-using their money.

Example: 10 people farm and collect money, which they convert to gems to buy makeover kits. Their effort and money has now yielded them a reward. Along comes player X, who spends real money on gems and receives the gold that the 10 players collected. He then spends that gold on a precursor. This results in

1) One effort yielded two rewards. However, this does not cause general inflation, since the rewards the first group received were account bound goods with no effect on the economy, and the total amount of gold actually decreased a little through taxes. (This might be different with black lion keys since they yield tradeable goods, but that’s besides the point)

2) Gold that was never intended for precursor buying was artificially re-purposed to that cause. If we assume that player X would have otherwise farmed the gold for the precursor himself, I agree that it doesn’t matter whether he farms it himself or gets it from the group of 10. However I strongly believe there is a non-insignificant group of players that wouldn’t take on the task of farming for a precursor if they couldn’t buy it with real money through gem exchange. And if such a player buys a precursor through gem exchange, gem exchange has created artificial demand for the precursor and caused the price of that precursor to go up.

Once you have educated yourself, come back and stop spouting such nonsens.

Once you are mature enough to lead an argument without resorting to a derogatory attitude the second you find a flaw in someone else’s statement, come back.

Your entire argument is based on a flawed assumption. The assumption being that converting gems to gold creates gold out of thin air.

Not at all. It was part of my assumption, but not it’s entire basis. Gem conversion still artificially channels wealth from all over the game to a small number of items, and causes their prices to rise more than would be the case without gem conversion.

It is getting really annoying. Apparently nodoby read team chat to adjust the team tatics.
Many times you try to advice your team: “Don’t go alone to point X because there is a bunker protecting it”, “Don’t zerg”, “Rush lord”, etc.
And in 90% of the time is like speaking to a wall.

Not sure what level you’re playing at, but at least in unranked there’s a huge surge of new players. They don’t know what point is point X, they don’t know what a bunker is, and they don’t know what zerging is or when they do it. You might as well be speaking chinese to them and get the same (lack of) response. It’s often a matter of understanding teamchat rather than reading it.

In one of my matches today I was capping close and a teammate came to stand on the point next to me. I told him “don’t dualcap, it won’t go any faster”, to which he just responded “?”.

It’s super frustrating, since obviously you can’t start explaining the meachanics of pvp to them in the middler of the match, and you just have to accept the fact that you have teammates running around without knowing what they’re doing.

And people, who buy gems with real cash to buy their precursors cant be responsible for inflated prices because they dont inject any gold into the economy, they actually take some gold out of it.

If someone creates 1000g out of thin air by buying and converting gems, how is he not injecting money? This is not a rethoric question, I know that you know the economy fairly well, so I’m curious what your thought process on this is.

And if prices of some precursors should spike temporarily (because 10-20 people buy the same one) professional forgers will add new supply because forging them with bought rares or crafted ones with t5 mats will yield good profit.

Until the surge in mystic forging leads to an inevitable rise in prices for t5 materials until the average forging cost again reflects the new, higher precursor price.

If prices for precursors should go back to 500g, mithril, elder wood, t5 fine mats as well as the corresponding rare weapons for expensive precursors will also lose 50% of their value as forging precursors is the biggest sink for those.

And if prices for precursors go up 500g due to more people buying them with real money, t5 prices would also go up by 50%, thus being indirectly inflated.

I stand by my point, expensive precursors reflect the value of the materials that are needed to forge one

Yes, and of course you are right when you say this. But you seem to ignore that it works both ways. The value of materials needed to forge one will always go up when the precursor price goes up. Because of this, the fact that precursor prices always reflect the material value to forge one, can not be a valid argument against real-money buyers inflating precursor prices.

where prices were artificially inflated due to people buying them with real money through currency exchange. This put players who just played the game without spending tons of real money at a significant disavantage.

Please prove this.

Just because there’s the option to purchase gold with gems, doesn’t mean that high prices for some items are caused by that. The poster was arguing the opposite which was why I wanted them to prove their statement. They completely disregarded that the price was determined by the supply (e.g. RNG and cost for mats used to MF) and the demand for that particular precursor.

What you are asking me to prove is just as obvious as it is impossible to prove without access to the data. There are tons of people who convert money to buy precursors, I personally know several of them. I would go as for as saying it’s probably the main reason people convert gems to gold. No one is gonna convert gems to buy an omnomberry bar.

Obviously the precursor price is determined by supply and demand. In this case, the higher the precursor price, the more people are willing to pay for t5 mats to try their luck in the mystic forge instead. The price of t5 materials is inherently tied to the price of the most popular precursors, so inflated precursor prices mean inflated t5 prices.

Precursor prices would still be high without gem conversion, just not as high

Wasn’t the problem that it was totally RNG and no story whatsoever behind it?

I would say this seems to show rather clearly understanding of those problems, since they are removing both of them.

The story was never a major problem, although it bothered some people.

The problem was the RNG element which forced players to buy precursors on the TP, where prices were artificially inflated due to people buying them with real money through currency exchange. This put players who just played the game without spending tons of real money at a significant disavantage.

If precursor crafting involves a lot of materials available on the TP, the same thing will happen again, only in another form. Prices of crafted precursor will become almost the same as buying them straight off the TP.

I was hoping for a way to craft precursors that involved exlusively account bound materials, with some of them costing a fixed amount of money, like Icy Runestones, to create an effective way of controlling precursor prices, and make sure they don’t spiral out of control through real-money transactions.

As it stands, this seems like a partial fix to the problem at best, although we will obviously have to see how it works before knowing for sure.

Did anyone actually expect the precursor crafting to be fast, easy or cheap? its an option. Buy, RNG or craft. They reasonably should be about the same cost in gold or time to get or one way will be used and the others ignored.

I have been waiting for this feature since all the broken promises in 2013, when precursors first starting breaking the 300-400 gold mark. Back then they specifically stated that they were equally worried as the playerbase about the precursor market. Nowadays many precursors are 1000g+, and suddenly they want to retain the precursor value? What happened to being worried about precursor prices when they were 300g?

Precursor crafting wasn’t only about an alternative way to create precursors, but also about regulating the outrageous gem-to-gold-inflated precursor prices.

Obviously Precursor should still have a major value attached to them, but if crafted precursors aren’t significantly cheaper than bought precursors, then what’s the point?

We have ridiculously curveous females with “armor” that shows cleavage, underboob and sideboob, along with bikini bottoms and tops, tangas, micro-skirts, stockings and a boob-bouncing animation.

But the female human stretch animation was just too sexual, sorry everyone.

Silver Wastes Farming

There is no legitimate reason to complain about chest farming in SW. For every map that is chest farming, there are 5 maps that aren’t. It literally takes 5 seconds to open the LFG and find one.

I really can’t stand people like you OP (no offence). Instead of moving to another map you start arguing in map chat and spread toxicity.

I can because 3 maps in 2 days have
1) Not stopped chest farming

Yeah, that’s why they’re there. To farm chests.

2)Upscaled events by running through them without doing anything

Yeah, because they’re there to farm chests, not do events.

3) Start on a map where I was there from phase one or previously completed a breach

The fact that you completed a breach on a map doesn’t give you any more rights, entitlement or control over the map that any recently arrived players. Also, new maps are the best to start chest farms, so they won’t interrupt existing maps where people be attempting the meta event.

4)Interrupted an attempt at an organized map.

So it’s wrong to start on empty maps (Point 3) and it’s wrong to start on existing maps? It’s gotta be one or the other. Besides, I have rarely seen a chest farm interrupt a map, they mostly start on empty ones.

5) Asked me to leave because they were there first.

So if you’re there first they’re not allowed to start chest farming (point 3) but when they’re there first you won’t accept it? Talk about double standards. If they are chest farming and you start to complain about it, obviously they tell you to find another map, it takes a few seconds to do so. What’s wrong about that?

So as you can see, you’re not making much sense. in the future I recommend you to just move to another map, it saves both parts from a lot of negativity and toxicity.

[Suggestion] WvW Rewards

in WvW

Reward the Players that built Siege.
Lets say Person Y gets 60 Wxp for a kill so let´s give Person X as reward for placing that Ac 5 Wxp.

I kinda like this, but the problem is that people might start throwing siege everywhere, even when they shouldn’t.

At the end of an defensive / Offensive Event you could measure the obtained wxp and give different Rewards.

So lets say you wipe a zerg in SM, thus resetting their wvw exp score, and then head out to cap their keep. The fight lasts 2 hours and you kill them 10 times over, but don’t get any wvw exp since it never accumulates due to them dying so fast. When you finally cap the keep you get almost no reward since you didn’t earn much wvw exp.

A commander with a good amount of players in his squad gets a special reward for capping a tower.

So a commander who pvd’s a tower with a huge zerg gets more rewards than a small 5-man roaming group that captures the same tower?

Rewarding especially commanders should only be able with a zerg of 10+ ( 10+ Squad Members) i´d say.

What I said above.

Rewarding commanders is a good idea, but tricky to implement. It could lead to a lot of hostility and discussions about who gets to tag up. Rewarding on the basis of zerg size also further aggravates the zergball meta we currently have, which might not be a good thing. The way it is now we can make sure that only those who enjoy commanding tag up

Commanding is costly, but most commanders know this and have a guild that supports them with siege, along with the occasional donation from other players.

On a more serious note, I’m still waiting for them to fix the horrible clipping of the magitech medium legs on human. It seems they just throw this stuff out in the hopes that enough people buy it anyway.

Naga MMO 2014 vs Logitech G600

I’ve gotten pretty good at moving my hands all around the keyboard as in:
If I need to move my left hand up to the numbers I can move my right hand over to the arrow keys for movement. When I leave the mouse I leave the cursor right in front of my toon for targeting purposes. Then switch back. It’s not optimal I know. This has been sufficient for pve and 65% of all wvw situations for the other professions.

Sorry if I’m being direct here, but isn’t the whole point of using a MMO-mouse that you don’t have to move your hand over your entire keyboard? I mean, you have 12 buttons on your mouse +g-shift. That’s more than enough for GW2.

Personally I’ve set up my g600 like this:

Upper row (G-11, G14, G17, G20) – skill 2,3,4 and 5.
Mid row (G10, G13, G16, G19) – skill 6,7,8 and 9.
Lower row (G9, G12, G15, G18) – F1, F2, F3, F4. Edit: Apparently F4 + the first letter of the row below activates the profanity filter.
G-shift + G9 – 0
Mouse wheel click – next target

My thumb usually rests on G10 or G13, which makes it super easy to find the other buttons. On the first row I mostly use G17 and G20, as the first 3 skills are easily accessible on the keyboard.

This setup works for all classes for me. I find it has a logic to it that makes it easy to remember. Even if it doesn’t work for you, you should really find a way to utilize all those buttons, it’s what they’re there for.

Another keybind tip for WvW-ers that many don’t know: In the control options you can keybind “Aoe-loot” to another button than the interact button (f). This means no more dying because you get stuck in a revive animation mid-fight.

[Suggestion] WvW achievements

They change the daily achievements on a regular basis with no apparent problem. They’ve added new collection achievements. Each LS has new achievements. But it’s “hard or even impossible to fix” WvW achievements??? Tell me another one, you’re killing me.

You are comparing apples and oranges here. They don’t change the daily achievements, they rotate them. Also, adding new achievements isn’t the problem, as proven by the various WvW season achievements. It’s fixing/adjusting existing ones. People already have some progress in them. I mean sure, they could probably delete all the achievements and make us start from scratch, but that would leave a lot of people, including me, pretty kittened off.

It shouldn’t be any more difficult than changing the numbers in a table somewhere in the code.

First off, how do you know? Secondly, if it really were as easy as changing some numbers in a table, they would have already done it, no matter how hard you want to believe they wouldn’t.

The question that has people perplexed is WHY these ridiculous achievement numbers haven’t been changed after all this time and ever so many complaint threads on the subject.

Agreed, even though it may be hard, 2 and a half years should be plenty of time to do something about it. Instead we get the same old silence as we’re used to from other highly discussed topics.

To all the guys doing the math in here: They know the numbers are unrealistic. I can’t be bothered to find the exact post, but when this was discussed over 2 years ago some dev stated the numbers were placeholder numbers used for testing purposes, and were never supposed to be in the final game. Somehow it was overlooked and now it’s hard or even impossible to fix.

what the hell just happened lol

EoTM zergs consist of 90% very casual players with no wvw/spvp experience. They run around without thinking and slam their heads against any enemy keep they see, expecting no resistance. If someone defends with an arrow cart, they will continue autoattacking the door until they die, cry “resssss” in chat and eventually respawn, reorganize and run around like a blob of brainless zombies again, until they meet their fate in another arrow cart.

But it WAS the player who got trapped in a thorny arena of death with a giant dragon doing everything in it’s might to brutally murder you, crush you or bite you in two; and ending up slaying it. I’d say that deserves some more praise than standing outside of said arena in total safety while giving some minor support from time to time.

I like it more this way than in the personal story where you leave fields of corpses behind and get ignored, while Glorious Leader Trahearne whacks away on a trash mob for half an hour and everyone celebrates him like he just found a culinary application for Bloodstone Dust.

Shocking…. “The Dreamer” got no update . . . . . . I really wish we had a effect when I first draw the weapon. (Like quip has the purple mist float around your character)

The Dreamer has had plenty of updates. I made it shortly after release, when it’s only effect was turning arrows into tiny rainbow arrows. It then got a major overhaul and started shooting huge, pink rainbow unicorns. At that point it already was one of the most visibly prominent legendaries. Even later they added rainbow footprints that last longer and glow brighter than most other footfall effects.

Crafters of The Dreamer have gotten lots of dev love, it’s time some of the other more overlooked legendaries got some too.
