That’s all Anet knows how to kittening do. It’s so pathetic. They are TERRIBLE at encounter design. Have been since launch. The encounters in this update are par for the course as well.

This is so true. They do everything in one way. Everything intended to waste player time. Why other games try to make it fun so you spend more time, everything here isn’t meant to be fun but just take a large amount of time.

So grind tickets for hours = got one shot = waste kittenload of time

He is impossible and that guide is pointless. It requires you to have belch available all the time. But it takes many turns to recharge it because you can’t drink. Not mentioning it’s bugged. I’m out. Thanks to this “fun” minigame i lost the desire to play this altogether.

Get your low level alt there if you have it. Only way.

Can’t beat him. He always knows what i will use. Start with drink he will bluff, start with bluff he will belch. He will keep avoiding healing until i have to waste my belch. Then he will heal. Also ridiculous how he can drink like 20 times and i only 4 and he can have his skill 100% uptime. Doubt it it will be fixed. Bet the idea was to force players to buy health regen from shop.

I tried the mango food and it didn’t gave anything. I had 21hp every tick like always.

It feels like it was programmed in a way that npc knows your every move. And they also can refresh they skills much faster. I have used some skills at same time as them and they could use it why my was still refreshing.

Anyway, is there a way to beat this not wasting whole day?

Content would be fine if not for gold and time sinks.

Anet has always “best” ideas for gold sink. and wasting time. I came here after half year of break and it’s still going strong.

We are trying it but it seems impossible, i bet they fixed that blink exploit next day.

Jotun path is broken, we are sitting there now like idiots, hoping for some mesmer trick to work. Maybe we should find a exploit to make gold there so it will be priority for fixing?

Dungeons are made for 80 lvl teams wearing exotics, fully traited, etc. Yes even the story ones. Sure you can enter it at recommended level but it will be hard and not fun. You will see it for yourself when you come back there later.

So what, this boss can be killed in 2min? I wish i knew what classes, tactics, equip and builds are needed for that.

At least you can get back with stats you need. You will probably never get a ring you want with all that RNG.

During event there was a high chance for exotics and rares. After event i always got few rares. Now i get greens. We will never know if they changed it or not, it can be always blamed on RNG. Let’s see in few days if ectos will go above 40s.

I think this path is only there for the achievement. No one sane would want to make it again. Only 2 can fight, shield is down for short time, you need to turn off auto attack, dodge rocks while your hp is going down from conditions and when you die it’s long way back.

I would gladly see any video with people doing it fast now.

I always wonder if this game was sub based we would get less time/gold sinks.

There is no thrill anymore sadly. It just doesn’t drop.

There is more to meters than dps. You could measure healing rate, how ofter and fast you pick downed people, boons used on team, conditions cured, damage blocked, projectiles blocked, skill usage, time of keeping aggro from boss and probably many others.

Then after run you could see if someone was doing high dps, was supporting team or just doing nothing in his MF gear.

I don’t think you can do multiple dailies using alts on same factor.

You can, I have 2 characters at difficulty 20’s. I can go do daily on one of them, then do it again on the other (both in the same factor).

I would need some confirmation on this from others, because it’s hard to believe. This seems like some kinda of bug or you are just wrong.

And drkn, you can’t get rings with grind because dailies stop you.

And there is a limit to that and i’m about to quit the game because of it.

I was kicked too. Have people leave my groups from same reasons. Seems we need to l2p or something, because some people already have 30 resist. I got my only ring after around 180 runs. Others have like 4 in half of that time. I’m just angry, disappointed and realized how much time i have wasted. I doubt it they will change it, rather be prepared for new RNG accessory soon and people going even higher leaving you behind.

I would just kick you and 4 man it. I’m there now only for the rings that never drops. I don’t need more junk from trash. There are enough not skippable mobs out there to kill. If you don’t quit game after 100 more runs you will skip everything too.

Yes, it’s intended for you to grind. Do 200 more runs and maybe you will get one too.

ive done 4 10’s and some runs with guildies and have 2 rings

I have almost 2500 tokens and 200 runs and one ring. Let’s don’t count all the hours and failed runs. I dunno what is so grindy here…

So i got a ring after like 180 fractals and 50 hours of play. Maybe i will get next in january. I actually got more than 2000 relics too. Well back to grind then, i bet anet is laughing hard at me.

Seems it doesn’t drop for guardian, maybe it’s bugged and connects to overall damage dealt and support will never get it, i don’t know.

Already on lvl 22. Doing daily every day, no rings. Don’t have cash for backpack. Getting kicked from parties too, even below 20. I just came here to thank Anet for this great experience…

A good alternative for it: http://gw2lfg.com/ . I’ve started using it lately, and it really helps. Though most people is LF FotM groups there are a few for the old dungeons too. Oh and +1 for the idea. I’m still missing my beloved SE set

This isn’t a good alternative for FotM. All players have to be on same overflow and it only works during peak hours. Any other time you won’t get them all in one place.

Half of my groups just disband on swamp. This is only easy if you only play with same people or have right classes for this. I have seen some guys just run past everything and not getting stuck once.

I play as norn guardian. Because of the size and having camera zoomed out i can’t see even one trap. Jumping over traps sometimes won’t work, i will trip anyway. I keep sliding from the trees because there is apparently only one pixel you need to jump on. Maybe if i was asura necro or something i would post too how easy this is.
