How to Make Dragonhunter Incredible

in Guardian

Posted by: Hamartia.3421

Hamartia.3421

I spent a lot of time on Dragonhunter last Beta Weekend and I think I know what needs to be done.

It has some great utility, an additional wall of reflection (or absorb or for now), and active moves for utilities is fun.

The only problem with it is THAT IT IS WEAK. As in, it needs buffs, which are coming, but I don’t think they will be enough.

If it were STRONG, the added utilities of Dragonhunter would be nice. But it isn’t. As of right now, I think the only situation in the world where I would take Dragonhunter would be Lava Shaman for some extra reflects.

But we can’t just add more % damage increases to Dragonhunter. Elite specs aren’t meant to be upgrades, but side-grades. So let’s think about how to do this! How can we make Dragonhunter strong, on par with a regular Guardian, without making it simply the best spec in all situations?

Here is why the Dragonhunter traitline is weak:

1. Guardians really need Zeal and Radiance for DPS. These trees have awesome DPS increases. Guardians really, really hate to give up virtues, too, because it offers insane utility.

2. This means, by taking the Dragonhunter tree, you have made a huge sacrifice in terms of DPS and/or utility. We have 3 amazing trees that it hurts to give up (really just 15 radiance and 5 virtues, but those days are over).

3. The Dragonhunter traits don’t currently make up for this loss in any kind of side-grade sort of way. That means its not really worth it to be a Dragonhunter.

4. Longbow does not come anywhere near close to the DPS OR utility of current Guardian weapon combinations. I can see how it almost does, but it isn’t there yet. I’m not sure it even beats Scepter/torch single-target DPS.

5. There needs to be a reason to use Longbow. Current traits really don’t do that.

That means that in beta, I could literally turn Dragonhunter off, and sigh with relief as my Guardian became as strong as I expected it to be. There was just no reason to be a dragonhunter over a Guardian.

I am not one to complain without offering a solution, so here it is.

My Dream change to Dragonhunter, that would make me love it as a side-grade to Guardian while still leaving me to play Guardian often as well:

New Trait: Zhaitan’s Bane/ Dragon’s Strength:

-Striking an Enemy with a two-handed weapon increases damage dealt by 2% for 10 seconds. Stacks up to 10 times. (Number not exact. I really don’t want to argue with people about “THAT DAMAGE IS TOO MUCH!” The specific damage increase I am looking for is such that it would be worth slightly less than the 15% crit offered to one-handed weapons in Radiance. So this number should be whatever puts Guardian DPS just a hair below the current maximum now.

-Yes, this would synergize with Whirling Wrath, and various piercing or AoE longbow moves.

-Keep in mind that a ramp-up/stacking mechanic ends up being different than offering a “20% damage increase trait”

-Currently, two-handed weapons deal less damage than one-handed weapons for Guardian. The exception is Greatsword, which deals high burst, but needs a one-handed weapon for sustained DPS. So even offering a trait like this would NOT significantly buff Guardian DPS beyond where it is right now. Please don’t make this whole thread about saying Guardian DPS is high enough. Sure, but not by using exclusively two-handed weapons.

-However, it would allow a Guardian to Wield Hammer or Greatsword with a Longbow off-hand. The longbow would continue to benefit from existing stacks, making it a worthwhile ranged weapon in situations that require swapping between melee and ranged.

-Max DPS with this trait would probably still be Hammer/Greatsword over Longbow, but this would lack any range which raids look to need, and still wouldn’t compete with regular Guardian going GS+Mace.

-It would open up the potential for dropping Radiance in favor of Zeal/Virtues/Dragonhunter for a more supportive build, since radiance becomes a tiny bit less mandatory. This would still come at a huge DPS hit, but it would be more reasonable.

-It would leave a Zeal/Radiance/Dragonhunter option for max DPS with weapons like we have now. Something like Mace/Torch + Greatsword, or Mace/Torch + Longbow. The stacks would just wear off while in the one-handed DPS option if you chose to use the two-handed DPS trait or you, more likely, would skip it in favor of other DPS or utility traits in the Dragonhunter tree.

Meteorlogicus; What have you done?

Hamartia.3421

I’d swear there was another thread (with dev response) about the new Meteorlogicus. I was reading it just this morning. However, I can’t find it (deleted by moderator, perhaps?), so I’m dredging up this one.

I finally managed to craft my Meteorlogicus today. Been working towards this since release (nearly 1 year of work, maybe a little less since I didn’t know about legendaries for a little while). I was so happy to pull the thing out of the forge… then I equipped it and was still happy… then I took a step. Not so happy anymore. The lightning footfalls just look terrible.

I knew this going in, I guess, since patch came out a week ago… but I already had Gift of Weather and precursor, so basically past the point of no return. Figured I might as well finish it. Point is, I spent this year crafting this weapon because I loved its skin. I still do. But the love for the skin is completely overwhelmed by the constant annoying lightning footfalls. The cloud part of the footfall is pretty good, but the lightning is awful. I think what makes it so awful is that while the other legendaries have sort of a “Random spatter” effect on their footfalls, each and every lightning footfall looks exactly the same and falls in the same exact place behind me.

I don’t know. This has been said by others. Just wanted to express my disappointment. Those footfalls are going to be a constant annoyance anytime I play. Will probably keep my non-legendary staff out while walking around just to avoid them…

I don’t mind the other changes. The night cycle thing is pretty cool. But please, for the love of god, either remove these footfalls or improve them. They are ruining this whole otherwise beautiful weapon for me.

Yup, visual footfalls that appear in the players camera are annoying and horrible.

Yup, its a really bleh compared to what it could be…. just current day scepter with old trail… bam, beautiful.

Here is my sincere attempt to be constructive.

Not many people are 100% satisfied by the new Meteorlogicus. Here are some suggestions on how to make more people happy:

Awesome Job On Some Of The Changes:

-New textures look amazing

-New daytime glow looks amazing

-Day/night cycle is a cool idea

Fixes Everyone Can Agree Upon:

-The blue/purple trail should not have been removed. This trail looked amazing and needs to come right back.

-When sheathed during daytime, Meteorlogicus no longer glows, which looks atrocious. Return Meteorlogicus to full effects when sheathed. The weapon just looks like a bunch of random bits of empty metal when sheathed now, whereas before it was a beautiful, glowy scepter with a purple/blue trail. The fact that it glows when sheathed at night suggests this is just a bug.

Fixes Only Some People Want:

-About 50% of players seem to hate the new footfalls.
I think the biggest issue is that the clouds take a little too long to form, and that since the lightning is off the ground, unlike other footsteps, it is visually disorienting to have right in your face. Perhaps the clouds should appear at the same time or before the Lightning.
The black clouds also make little sense during daytime— perhaps these footsteps should only appear at night, with white clouds with no lightning during the day.

-Most players dislike Meteorlogicus turning purple at night. I am one of them.

At this point, I think Anet should do right by the community and split Meteorlogicus into two different skins via Mystic Forge Recipe.

Dark Meteorlogicus:
Current Meteorlogicus, but with all of the above changes.

Light Meteorlogicus
Removed footsteps. Removed day/night cycle. Remains blue and sunny at all times. True to the original Meteorlogicus. A perfect version of the serene, tranquil weapon that many of us worked months towards.

This would make everyone happy while giving Meteorlogicus a special, unique customization that makes it LEGENDARY for all players.
——————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————-

Changing a weapon’s color, particularly an expensive Legendary’s, was an unprecedented move that has made a lot of people upset. It sets the dangerous standard that Anet can do anything they want to change an item that you worked hard for. This would be a good faith move that would make all current and future Meteorlogicus users happy.

Thoughts and Ideas on Rune Design

in Suggestions

Hamartia.3421

Rune of the Watcher:

This rune is intended to significantly buff all players who wish to remain at range while still giving/receiving buffs. Not a min/max option, but helpful for some players. Before you imagine this being insane in WvW, remember 5 target AoE caps will almost always be reached in zergs without having to go up to 1000 range. If you really want to play say, a Longbow Ranger or a Staff Elementalist, this rune would help you benefit full from giving and receiving Boons despite your long range.

+25 Precision

+3% Critical damage

+25 Precision

+5% Critical damage

+90 Precision

You can give and receive boons from longer range (600 range, caps at 1200 range max)

Rune of the Hero:

The people really like the idea of “Anchoring”. Give the people what they want.

+25 Vitality

+15 Toughness

+50 vitality

+35 Toughness

+90 Vitality

+When you use a utility skill, enemies are more likely to target you.

(I would also consider adding something like this to certain Traits, like Guardian Altruistic Healing and Warrior Vigorous Shouts.)

Rune of the Healer:

+25 Healing Power

+20% Regeneration duration

+50 Healing

+5% Chance to grant nearby allies regeneration for 10 seconds when hit

+90 Healing

+10% of overhealing is granted as a shield that absorbs incoming damage.

(only applies to direct heals from Q moves, Weapons, and utilities). (10 second duration of shield/internal cooldown). Percent could be tweaked.

To be honest, I think something like that mechanic should just be added to the game to make healing more useful (more akin to toughness… it could prevent damage before it occurs), but that’s a whole different conversation.

The healing bubble generated would need to have some fairly steep diminishing returns so that heals generated by, say, Shout Heal warriors could remain useful compared to large Guardian and Ele heals.

Rune of the Nearsighted:

(Mostly intended to buff Axe/Deathshroud Necromancers, but has applications for other classes and buffs a lot of generally weak ranged weapons like Ranger Shortbow while excluding those with high range requirements because it would make them overpowered.).

+25 Power

+3% Critical Damage

+25 Power

+5% critical damage

+90 Power

+Medium range abilities (500-900) do 20% more damage, but their range is reduced by 33%.

Exact details might have to be tweaked, but I think I thought of all the weapons that would become overpowered given something like this and managed to exclude them (Warrior Rifle, Guardian Scepter).

One additional caveat is that for Deathshroud, the 20% damage boost (and range reduction) would need to be added to the “within 600 range” part of Deathshroud, but not when it is used from longer range. I also would have liked for this Rune to be viable for Staff Elementalists, but I couldn’t do that without including ranged weapons that would become OP given this rune.

Combo Field Runes and Sigils:

I’m not going to get into specifics here, but I think there is tons of potential for Rune Sets that synergize specifically with certain combo fields.

For example, damage boosts when standing in a certain kind of field (light, fire), chance to create a specific kind of field when hit, % chance for Critical hits to become specific types of Finisher, etc. And as the 5th slot bonus “Your finishers will prioritize fields of x type” to give people a bit more control over the combo system.

And that’s it!

Those are my fun ideas for some Runes that would make Rune choices a lot more interesting without adding any Power Creep— it was not my intention that any of these runes ends up beating Rune of the Scholar. Obviously the exact numbers are probably off and would need to be tweaked, but these are more proof of concept for some fun runes that would shake things up and get (more) people doing something other than socketing Ruby Orbs.

Thoughts and Ideas on Rune Design

in Suggestions

Posted by: Hamartia.3421

Hamartia.3421

Hello!

Originally I decided not to share this post, since I think mass ideas are actually one of the least useful things to share with a gaming company— I’m sure they have TONS of ideas, and are limited more by time.

However, in the last patch, Anet went ahead and did some of the things I suggest in this post, so maybe they’re interested in playing around with Runes more than I had considered. =)

So here it goes:

My summer break is ending soon, and I will be forced back to real work. So over the next few days I will be trying to purge my last few Guild Wars 2 related ideas out of my system.

This post will focus on ideas for improving the Rune system

I. Runes

Runes are one of the most interesting parts of gearing in Guild Wars 2. Well, at least they should be.

Right now, in PVE, the optimal choice for most players is simply Ruby Orbs, or Runes of the Scholar. I cannot imagine a more boring choice than socketing Ruby Orbs—rather than gaining an interesting effect, players simply socket more damage increasing stats.

Runes of the Scholar are a little better, but the margin by which they outclass all other runes will only increase when ascended gear comes out. Due to diminishing returns on stats (hitting 100% crit chance, for example), Runes of the Scholar are only going to become more powerful over time because percent damage boosts scale so well.

II. Some notes on fixing existing Runes:

-Firstly, fix the 6th slot bonus on Rune of Strength and it will become one of the most viable rune choices in the game.

-Most runes that provide a % damage boost are too conservative compared to Runes of the Scholar. Superior Rune of the Wurm, for example, has poor stats, why not bump that 3% damage boost to a 5%? Still not a great rune… but better!

-There are so many Rune choices that NO ONE should take ever—why not make them more interesting? In general, someone just needs to go over all the Runes in the game and, if its super obviously a rune no one is going to ever choose, tweak it.

-Most Runes that improve player speed seem to have been balanced before most classes got a 25% movement speed signet. Bump these up to 10 or 15% movement speed. Rune of Speed and Rune of the traveler, for example. Obviously this is not a massively important issue. (I’m even happier with the 25% movement speed that went down, I just didn’t want to suggest something so Bold!)

II. Rune Ideas

As a basis for comparison, here are the stats of Runes of the Scholar. My goal is to maintain these as the most powerful min/max option in order to avoid power creep, while allowing players to make other choices without sacrificing too much.

I think most of the existing runes could be overhauled to take into the account the very simple fact that runes will usually come down to DPS-emphasizing math, and the math doesn’t look good for most of the Runes in the game under almost any situation.

Obviously the details of all of these are flexible.

Runes of the Scholar (For Comparison):

This represents the strongest pure DPS choice in almost all situations.

+25 Power

+3% Critical Damage

+50 Power

+5% Critical Damage

+90 Power

+10% damage while health is above 90%

Rune of Shared Destiny

A boon duration/DPS option.

+25 Precision

+15% Boon Duration

+50 Precision

+15% Boon Duration

+90 Precision

2% damage for each ally under the effects of a boon (10% max, so 8% damage in a dungeon unless a pet is available, limited more if allies aren’t in range)

Rune of the Hunt:

This is to help wean people off of Signet of the Hunt and Signet of Shadows and to provide another viable min/max option for those who prefer movement speed over pure damage.
The 10% when behind or beside your foe makes it a bit less of an option for heavy armor classes, which is intended to keep this from being a no-brainer choice for all classes.

+25 Power

+3% Critical Damage

+25 Power

+15% Movement speed

+90 Power

+10% Damage when behind or beside your foe.

Meteorlogicus has a lot of issues since the last patch.

1. It does not glow when sheathed during the daytime (this looks bad). It only glows when sheathed at night.

2. The blue/purple trail is missing… unless you log in during night time, in which case it is there until you use a weapon skill or unsheathe.

https://dviw3bl0enbyw.cloudfront.net/uploads/forum_attachment/file/101387/gw248.jpg

3. The clouds take too long to form after the lightning bolts, which is visually distracting. In general, I think the footsteps are a bad idea since they are vertical and three dimensional— its a lot of visual noise right in front of your screen. All other footsteps are on the ground so they are not distracting or disorienting visual stimuli.

4. The clouds are black during daytime, which doesn’t make sense with the white cloud/Sunny Aesthetic. In general, the footsteps only seem to match the night time appearance and perhaps should be made night only.

5. Most players honestly don’t like the aesthetic decisions made in this patch. I’m of the opinion that you guys should really change it so that there are two versions of Meteorlogicus:

One with the current day/night cycle and footsteps, and one that stays blue/white/sunny at all times, with no footsteps.

I guess Anet really shouldn’t have changed any legendary skins with all this complaining.

If you crafted it, you were obviously satisfied with it’s current status.

And that last sentence, basically, sums this up. Many people made the Meteorlogicus because they liked how it looked. And those of them who don’t like the new look feel cheated. Myself included.

I think stuff like the Texture and daytime glow improvements were great ideas.

But wholesale changing the aesthetic of a weapon makes no sense.

I’m not saying ANYWHERE that they should take away your weapon. I’m saying they should give those of us who want it the OPTION to look more like the original Meteorlogicus.

b) Then I suppose they will fix it if it is.

c) I agree. I said that in my original message.

d) Yes it is.

I also said in my original post that I completely felt sorry for those who wanted it the old way and said I wished ANet would give us the choice of the old or the new. And did I ever indicate ANYWHERE that someone though they should take my weapon away? What in the world are you talking about?

Still I feel bad for the ones not happy about the change. The OP suggested a choice of looks for Meteorlogicus. If they give us one, I don’t believe it should be as the OP stated it should either be the old one or the new and then you are stuck with what you choose.

Your logic hurts my brain. I want them to make meteorlogicus better. I don’t want them to make it worse but give them gimmicks. It should only be improvement and not lazy editing. No matter what ANYONE says, the design on night time was pure laziness.

You can have your opinion and that is fine. But not all of us agree with you. Your opinion of ‘making meteorlogicus better’ isn’t everyone’s. It is just what you want to see or what you think is bad that makes you think that it ‘needs’ to be better.

I like the new version of the weapon. I don’t care for the footfalls, but the effects, coloring and everything else I think are great. And yes I had the weapon before the switch.

ANet did what they thought made the weapon look better and that is what they gave us. I get that some liked it as it was before. You saying they are making it worse by giving us gimmicks is purely your opinion. It is obvious that others share that opinion, but many do not.

My suggestion was just that, a suggestion. If ANet asked 100 of us what we thought the perfect look and effect for Meteorlogicus would be, they would get 100 different answers. They cannot please everyone. So they did what they thought was good.

So if my logic hurts your brain, that is a two way street. Your selfish logic makes me want to hurl.

I don’t mind the ADDITIONS, and don’t even mind the purple.

But are you seriously telling me you like the fact the have REMOVED the sheathed glow and trail? You are in favour of them removing effects?

Many (if not most/all) weapons loose all effects when sheathed. It could have been a bug for all we know.

A bug that went from launch until September 3rd, despite several Meteorlogicus update.

And it continues to glow when Sheathed at night time only.

It is clearly a mistake or oversight that it does not glow when sheathed during the day.

I am a necro and really like the way meteorologicus is now.I have no problem with its new colors.
People are complaining about the purple but want a half purple trail back…Some people really don’t know what they want indeed…

There is a reason I ordered the Meteorlogicus complaints in order of priority. I put the purple issue LAST because it is not a universal opinion.

The blue/purple trail was tasteful, with a subtle purple shade that complemented the blue trail. It did not change the whole weapon to be purple.

I do, in fact, know precisely what I want, which is why I have a very clear forum post about it. =)

I understand that a lot of players will LOVF the new options— that is why I’m not trying to take it away from anyone. I just think that ANet has done such a good job providing so much art for Meteorlogicus that it has essentially become two weapons— like Twilight and Sunrise.

I personally want the Sunrise version exclusively. Other players may want it to default to “Eternity”, like it does now, and perhaps some people want it to only be Twilight.

I would be wholly satisfied with the weapon forevermore if Anet gave us the choice.

Since the legendary greatswords have it, why not the scepter? In fact, I think every legendary should have two variants so that it would be fair for all. I’ll give kudos to Anet for being creative on their ideas, but sometimes the ideas didn’t get executed right.

I agree a lot of the issues that you’ve mentioned, Hamartia. Even though I am mainly a mesmer, my favorite color is blue and given the choice, I’d rather pick the blue/sunny version. I too don’t like lightning/thunderclouds. That’s one of the reasons why I didn’t go for Bolt. While the purple is nice, I think a navy/royal blue night sky would fit nighttime more.

I was surprised about the blue trail being removed. It was there for a bit and was longer/brighter and it looked really good! I miss the trail to be honest. It got people taking a notice of me as I run/walk by.

I also didn’t like that when sheathed, the glow on either disappears. Like what others have said, the glow makes it stand out more instead of some little toy-like gadget.

The footsteps are neat and unique, but it felt like it was geared towards the night version more.

If cannot split the 2 versions, at least give the day/sunny back the trail and during nighttime/moon, have it change to give the footsteps.

Where can I sign to have these fixes done?

Agreed on all counts.

The footsteps only seem to match the Night version. For the day version, black clouds and Lightning don’t fit the aesthetic.

I think the main issue with the footsteps though, is its the only legendary that has a 3d footstep— everything else is placed flat on the ground, which means it isn’t distracting visual information shot into your face as you walk.

The lightning also appears almost instantly, before the clouds, which means it occurs within your field of view rather than mostly being something awesome that appears behind you.

@Hanako.

Almost every post I’ve seen defending the Purple has been from a Mesmer.

There is enough purple in this game. Not everything has to be a Mesmer weapon.

Pretty fair assessment Liraz.

I’m not against the purple/day night cycle in general; I just want it to be optional since a lot of us made this weapon because it was less gimmicky or more solid.

At this point, I actually dislike the footsteps and lack of daytime sheathed glow more than the purple night-time effects.

My thoughts:

5 week releases. First part for two weeks, second part for three weeks.

One week off in-between.

This gives each Living Story time TWO FULL WEEKS extra to do work, while making us appreciate Living Story content more since we get a week to relax and breathe.

Could anyone possibly post a decent screen of the footsteps at day/night? Can’t get home for a week, and this mobile internet won’t let me watch vids -.- Thank you muchly in advance if anyone does.

Did the best I could. Footsteps don’t change ever.

This is another problem worth mentioning.

The black clouds and lightning make no sense aesthetically during daytime.

Here is a pic of the trail in action from the new update. It happens when you keep it sheathed at night. Don’t tell me why it does this, but its apart of the glitches the updated meteorlogicus has.

Yup, looks much better with the trail.

It’s not a real throwback to 8 bit games if it isn’t hard.

You’re absolutely right.

What I’m saying is that Guild Wars 2 players enjoyed something that made them FEEL like they were playing a throwback to 8 bit games. Most of them don’t actually want to work at it.

Lots of complaints that GW2 lacks difficult content, sure.

No one means that the fun, gimmicky Living Story updates should be super difficult. SAB was fun because it was nostalgic and well-designed, but relatively easy. It made you feel like you were awesome at platforming. It convinced the player that they were smart, and creative.

I think SAB developers misunderstood what made it so popular the first time.

People are asking for difficult Guild Wars 2 content. Content in the base game where we use our weapons, and skills, and armor, and stats to kill enemies (preferably in instances so we can’t just Zerg it). That’s because at this point, most of us are pretty good at Guild Wars 2. Less so at platforming, it seems.

Everyone was happy with Super Adventure Box’s difficulty. That’s part of why it was so popular.

If I’m going to be doing something grueling, I want a dragon breathing down my neck, not a cute little pixely spider.

Honest mistake from the Dev’s part, and one that can hopefully be fixed pretty easily and going forward. I’m sure this difficulty appeals to some people, and I love that Tribulation mode gives them the option.

Based on how awesome Josh is being on this forum, I feel bad offering something that borders on criticism. But I don’t really think this is a criticism of the content he and the SAB team have designed— it is great for what it is. I’m just trying to explain why the Guild Wars 2 community might be confusingly whiny about the difficulty.

Okay, this is for all the people wining about the new footsteps. People.. The footsteps are a perfect fit for th weapon; the precurser is called -STORM- and it uses 100 charged lodestones to make. Hence why the footsteps match.

Lets disreguard that. Yes the nighttime effect is awesome imo, but the only thing that bugs me is that the end of the handle is still blue. I would like this suggestion to go through and possibly be changed. secondly there is a glitch where their is some kind of equilibrium effect, where it still trials, as seen in the picture.

With these in mind, I thank Anet for updating this legendary, I am a happy and proud owner.

Kind reguards: Twiggz.

Dude, you posted a picture of the legendary when it is BUGGED and showing the glow while sheathed.

That is one of the things I’m suggesting it needs to do all the time.

I realise that, and thats why i stated. in the picture below, it is glitched.

I most humbly apologize to you, sir. I started a new job yesterday and it seems my reading comprehension was negatively affected. :P

What’s annoying is it doesn’t glow while stowed in the daytime, but for some reason it does at night. The thing I miss most though is the trail.. it was such a nice effect and one of my favourite things about it. A couple of times I’ve had some bug where the old and new versions merge with each other and I get the trail back, but it soon disappears. I’m still hoping its disappearance is a bug.

At the very least anet, please give us back the trail. Please

This makes it seem like its probably a bug/programming issue that it isn’t active during the day.

Annelotte,

I don’t mind the ADDITIONS, and don’t even mind the purple.

But are you seriously telling me you like the fact the have REMOVED the sheathed glow and trail? You are in favour of them removing effects?

This is exactly why I made a more moderate version of the thread.

I understand not everyone HATES the purple and Lightning as I do.

But every single person with Meteorlogicus should want back the sheathed glow and the trail.

If in the incredibly unlikely chance you say yes, are you okay with it having no glow sheathed? It looks like a banana peel with no banana.

And EVERYONE loved the tail it used to have.

For some reason, a bug happened with me in LA, the merge of the old with the new Meteorlogicus, with a increased size of the glow of the old weapon. That was perfect for me.

They could just merge the new with th old.

Yup, I’ve seen the bug. The trail coming back and glow when sheathed does A LOT to right the wrongs.

Although I still hate the footsteps and purple.

Oh my godd, the the trail was just so lovely. It’s a shame they removed it. I thought the footfall was alright. It wouldv’e been nice if it was white clouds during day and black @ night. (:

I just want the trail & perma glow back, idc what colour it is :C

That’s why I made a more moderate version of my whiny posts that emphasized the changes that EVERYONE would want. =)

Much as the purple and stupid storm clouds on my tranquil blue scepter irritate me.

And the thing that bothers me the most is on that picture.
I hate the purple but come on. If you gonna do something at least do it completely. It’s like I gave a kid to color an outline…no consistency, no sense of color matching.
Not everyone enjoys having a rainbow vomit on their weapon. There’s Bifrost for that.

What originally drew me to Meteorlogicus was how pristine it seemed. No gimmicks. Just a glorious weapon.

It glows at night while sheathed and the blue and purple trail is there as well, add the trail and glow back to the daytime version and I’ll be happy.

This is the absolute bare minimum.

I also think they should make it MFable to two separate versions at this point.

However, it should have been a new weapon. Not a change to one that people already have.

So +1 for changing it back.
