It’s been like this for AGES now; The fact you didn’t know this up to this point, shows your inability to keep up to date (Unless you’ve been away – But that is what a search is also for)
It doesn’t take long at all to get the GoB .. Jump in and do 2-3 dailies and over time you are done..You don’t even need to zerg if you don’t want to.
Start GoB when you first start your legendary and you’ll get it done before you get everything else (Yes, this would require people to research every part of the legendary before they start – shocking)

B) You do know that there is also a 500 minion kill achivement, which..like myself..loads of people haven’t yet got.

The new skill is below average and it rarely reach its full potential. Its only useful in pve and arguably could be decent in wvw. Pretty unreliable imo.
Definitely need some changes.
Actually, I find it very powerful in PvP as well, and situational – but effective in WvW.

It’s called being tactical.. Knowing how it works is one thing, knowing HOW to use it is another.. it’s all about hiding the skill in combat…never open with it.

As Ulion said.. it’s the reward those players who have been wvw longer..Those dedicated to the mod, especially as wvw has been lacking for sometime compared to all other modes.
Edit: It’s like pvp seasons and giving players who climbed the ladder something for getting that high, but not dumping them back down the very bottom.

You deploy it..wait 1-2 seconds for the overload to actually go off..then destroy.. it has to go through it’s spawn animation and then overcharge animation…stop being in a rush

Trouble will this game is enemy attention is based on toughness, so unless we’re always the tank we can’t go much into toughness. This doesn’t help that even without a lot of toughness other professions can do a good job of that as well.

That’s with all buffs and utilizing combo fields.
It’s going to be considerably lower in a real fight and it will offer pretty low group support.Problem is that necro has meh dps and doesn’t help the team out very much. It does have some niches with transfusion for groups that aren’t so good and it has epidemic for trash mobs during certain fights.
It’s sad that we do have a few things that if buffed can be good from teams..But Anet doesn’t want to do that or seems to notice these things much.

With Necro..How come Lifesteal wasn’t buffed in terms of damage so they could have some hope to be raid meta, because right now we’re kinda outside what anyone looks for in general terms for raiding. Maybe lifeforce could be used in a way to buff team or something? Like ferocity is tied to lifeforce from this balance patch.

Considering wvw and pve are all in the same area, they’d have to split wvw ITSELF from pve before looking to split pve skills from wvw.

Not sure if 0.2 will make a notable difference..but we’ll have to see
Death Spiral: The damage of this skill has been increased by 20%.

Nightfall: This skill now converts boons into conditions from enemies it hits.
Boons converted to conditions – 4, pulses 4 with interval of 2 seconds…Considering boons aren’t fully an issue in pve anymore, this only really hits wvw n pvp.
Well of Darkness: The recharge of this skill has been reduced from 45 seconds to 35 seconds.
Still not worth taking tbh, other things can do a much better job with a much shorter cooldown
Spectral Wall: The recharge of this skill has been reduced from 45 seconds to 40 seconds.
Not even a thing anymore so..5 seconds buff wasn’t needed
Spectral Grasp: The recharge of this skill has been reduced from 25 seconds to 20 seconds in PvP only.
Again..this hasn’t been a thing for ages and still isnt in pvp
Grasping Darkness: The recharge of this skill has been reduced from 30 seconds to 25 seconds. Increased damage by 30%.
This is a lovely nice buff tbf…when it hits
Well of Blood: The recharge of this skill has been reduced from 35 seconds to 30 seconds.
Nice buff to the heal when traited…can’t complain..Now we have 3 good heals (Yes, the well heal is good)
Ritual of Life: The well created by this trait has been renamed to the Lesser Well of Blood and will continue to use a 35-second recharge.

Deathly Chill: Increased bleed stacks to 3 for 5 seconds in PvE only.
Nice mini buff to condi..shame it’s not in pvp as well…But…it still doesn’t address the main issues Necro has.
Reaper’s Onslaught: Now grants up to 225 bonus ferocity while in a shroud, based on effective level.
This is imho a brilliant buff…225 is amazing.
Life Rend: Increased damage by 17%.
Life Slash: Increased damage by 17%.
Life Reap: Increased damage by 12.5%. Increased life-force gain from 1.5% to 2%.
Nice..it’s a nice buff, can’t say much more then that
Death’s Charge: Increased damage by 30%.
Nice…was needed… it’s ok
Chilling Scythe: Increased life-force gain from 3% to 5%.
Will have to test to see the big difference
Overall… Not enough…Really not enough for Necromancers to be considered in Raids still.
We still don’t bring enough to the team to be considered.
Why the lifesteal mechanic wasn’t worked on and increased I’m not sure, but it’s a question i’d love to see a dev answer.

Major Grandmaster —> “Unholy Martyr” = Draw conditions from allies when you enter shroud and every few seconds while you remain in shroud. Gain life force each time a condition is removed.

Yes it would be a fun idea and yes it would take A LOT of work for Anet, But honestly think the return from it would be awesome. As someone who played CoH way before and after the change, the amount of people that loved it was huge and was def something to make people enjoy the game some more.

B) New LA is much better than the old one..sure it doesn’t have as much character, but at least the main dam area isn’t as crowed as a box of cats…ALways hated how small old LA was.

Don’t use it as a primary weapon and not right away.. get the interupts in, the pulls etc.. get them off guard – #5 is a good one with elite shout then 2/3-2 then Reaper shroud if poss.
It’s about knowing what gs is good for and not in the current situation.
And while it is a situational weapon as to weather or not it can be good… it isnt crap by far.. people just dont want to put effort into anything anymore..and no.. staff isnt that much better when you take away the fear skill.

If you use/are in shroud a lot… naturally SR will work well together.. the middle trait (5) extends (slows down the passive LF lose while in DS) as well as increase crit chances, unavoidable marks etc etc

Take Root spawns 2-5 “Seed Turrets”
“This skill fires a ranged attack every 5 seconds, dealing about 300 damage per attack to a medium armor target at level 80. Both the direct damage and the condition damage are affected by the creator’s stats.”
It lasts for 30 seconds with a 150 second cool down (Same time as Lich with the cool down Trait I believe)
The Range is 1,200 – Although an individual Seed Turret has 1,500 (I haven’t yet been able to test range)
The Bleeding they do last for 10s base (So longer if Viper surely)
Lasts 30 seconds (minions die after 30 seconds)
Horrors spawn 5
“The Jagged Horror attacks once every 3.5s / has an attack speed of 0.2857 hits per second.” (So a bit faster then the Seed Turret)
Recharge 25 seconds, but with Lich it’s base 180.
Further testing is needed but on paper… on single target could be better?
Well tbf… the turrets are only better if the turrets are affected by ALL of the users stats.. Im thinking condi damage and condi Duration.

In honesty.. as a fav power reaper.. axe is naf.. the damage is just soo weak and the secondaries do soo little.
The whole weapon needs a rework imho… make it melee.. make it longer range… projectiles ..who knows..

The reason why the repeatable hearts are ok for map completion in EB is because there isn’t that many to do before they reset.
When they reset (@reset) if you didn’t get map competion before then, you’ll have to redo the hearts.
Now imagine that for WORLD completion … it wouldn’t work.
Besides we have alts for WC for that reason.

Considering it’s “enemy to enemy” It’s not possible to see this as a buff icon. Considering each enemy will have a different number of vul stacks on them.
It’s already easy enough though – 2% per 1 vul on the enemy… at 25.. it’s 50, 20 it’s 40, 10 it’s 20 etc etc.

Considering they got me into Engi (which is now my main alt) I actually support them
My biggest issue is people joining Rank and not knowing nothing about their professions.
Like, their should be a x timer on a profession before they can join Ranked, Just so they have some hours behind the character and know how it at least kind works.
And as someone who went into unranked as a rev and absolutely sucking.. I have experience on how bad it can affect teams in ranked.
