I want them to finally sort out Axe.
While I have other fears of what will be pointlessly nerfed, one of the buffs I want is either Axe to be gutted and made Melee.. or keep it’s range but make it so the skill 2 can be reflected.
It’s range.. could be abit more…but at 900 I can accept this really.
It’s the damage.. it is sooo cak in comparison..to everything else.
But then tbh DH longbow is power and has range so why can’t axe have the same “type” of stats?
Axe has been in dire need of life since who knows.
But hey, I’ve stopped fully hoping for axe is be of something good for a while now.
Devs just seem to fear it being OP or something… cos no other weapon out there is OP right. -.-

You do know that if you start doing 1-2 dailies in wvw a day over the whole time it takes you to complete your legendary, you would of had filled the reward track at least once.
It’s really not hard what so ever to get the gift of battle.. Just a bit longer now than before.

Yes you are forced to raid for Legendary armor
You are also “forced”:
To play PvP for glorious armor
To play WvW for their newly added armor set
To do full map exploration for old legendary weapons
To do full HoT map exploration for new legendary weapons
To play events for Karma armor/weapons
To play AB for Auric weapons
To play VB for bladed armor
To play TD for chak weapons
To play DS for leystone armor
To do achievements for achievement armor/weapons
To win WvW seasons for Mistforged weapons
To do fractals for Fractal weapons
To do high level fractals for golden fractal weapons
To do fractals for the fractal backpack
To do Ranked PvP for the PvP backpack
To Play SW for luminescent armorYou might as well quit the game, everything seems to be exclusive…

This isn’t the first thing in the game where you need to focus on one section of it to get something.
Besides… It’s not like you NEED it at all.
You want the best armour in game.. Do what is needed to get it… Pvp doesn’t matter and very few people actually like the skins from what I’ve seen so it’s not a fashion thing.
WvW I can understand some sort of system there where changing stats would actually matter/have an effect.
And in PvE – We have Raids.
It’s not like Raids when organised and experienced is hard.

What is it with people thinking (unless you are able) that legendaries takes a matter of hours or weeks.. and not months like their meant to.
It’s a journey over time for end game, not something you pick up on the way home from work.

I’ve been using Thorns (6) for quite a while now in fractals and very happy with them.I never have an issue with condi duration due to the food.

Since the change.. the gyro is in a good place.. it’s not OP nor is it crap while at the same time, not making thieves useless.
Just me.. a good stealth thief..vs a good engi with gyro.. thief wins in the stealth area/making use of the stealth hands down
Not sure about wvw, but in pvp I use Elixir X and in pve mostly the cannon.

Personally think writing a ticket for a player going afk in pvp matches for example is a waste of time and effort.

Sorry, I really don’t mean to be..erm..mean here..But.. It sounds more about the players skill then actual issue with the trait itself.
MoC is actually a good trait to have when using corruption based traits (unless you need RS #2 boon strip more). The cooldown helps a lot and sure you get 1-2 condi thrown on to you.. But.. you then send it back at the enemy – (Transfer) using a number of means inc; dagger 4 and staff 4. You can also use those extra conditions to heal you, Consume Conditions.
It just takes a little bit of skill to know what you’ll be hit with and when to best use them. A lot of the time, the conditions you get aren’t even troublesome.. heal, quick AA to get rid of blind etc etc.

I run either Power or Conditions.
Mostly Conditions lately due to high level fractals.
So for me… Curse line is a must ( Parastic Contagion is just awesome in fractals) and Reaper for the chilled-bleeds.
In power it’s Reaper line (Because the last 2 GM traits in it is sexy stuff lol) and Soul reaping (But this time for the RS crit)
Everything else from spite – Death magic is dependent on the situation… For example.. I default SR line for the RS support.. in both Power and Condi.. tho one is either burning and the other is for the Crit in RS…However, some situations won’t need RS.. like the Thermo reactor in fracs, so i swap out SR for DM. →
(DM if needing pets, BM if needing healing support and Spite if the might in the team isn’t what it can be.)

Sorry… but this is clearly your fault for not looking into what is needed to complete this item.
Every legendary item (minus armour as we do not yet know) needs a Gift of Fortune.
They said it from the beginning and it’s been on the wiki for many months now.
While it does suck.. this is all your fault dude.
Hopefully you learn to read up on stuff before hand.
Besides… 1000g when saving and doing normal pve things doesn’t take forever.. laurels dungeons etc – boom.
And the backpiece after all is a pve thing even though you can only get it via pvp and this is because pvp backpieces have no stat useage.

Anyone who mains Necro/Reaper knows how to “kill” “deactivate” “destroy” minions.
If not in combat.. swap skills.. or blow them up.
If your minions are attacking it’s because you’ve been attacked/ too close.
It’s about knowing your own skill… situation and environment.
besides.. Skills like passive/attack etc is a Ranger ability and so shouldn’t be put on others.
Shame with Engi elite golems.. Guard spirit weapons..etc

Condi low level is terrible due to how level/condi stats change depending on the level.
Power/minion mancer is best (minion for most fun) low level with condi coming into play mid- higher leveling.

I’m not afraid of raiding.. But cos I dont have set hours for work I cant join guilds that do them often and with only 1 kill behind me (and many many many tries).. People only want those with 20+ insights n crap.

If you want something very stress free that’s going to put out far more damage with much more consistency than what the OP is suggesting, try the following:
- PS Warrior
- Power Tempest
- Hammer Dragonhunter
- Chronomancer
- Condition DruidYou’re basically indestructible, maintain permanent Quickness/Fury/Might/Vuln/Protection/etc. It’s night and day how much better (and even safer!) it is than stacking Necromancers.
This is fine until boon thieves and bosses start having perma prot/25might/fury/quickness.
Then your average players start crumpling because things are not dying faster than anticipated.
Don’t forget the often forgetful.. Retaliation boon.. This is normally what wipes a team.

Don’t do stupid crap and people won’t go afk.
Examples:
Before start you see your opponents team having two Reapers and two Dragonhunters while my team has three thieves and no one is willing to switch) – I go afk.

A) How did you lose that.
B) There is nothing wrong with balance looking at that.
C) What kind of balance are you thinking of, because it seems class/weight class is what you’re thinking and there is nothing wrong with that. Just having 3/4/5 heavies doesn’t (normally) mean a win for that team.
((Point – 5 Reapers winning… all light. vs 2 DH 2 Tempest engi and a mesmer.))
It seems from that one picuture and no explanation that it’s a l2p/commmunite/rotate better situation.

Considering they said SAB will one day return ages ago makes me question if people ever listen or pay attention to what Anet says/watch any of their podcasts etc.
They said basically now the expansion is out they can work on SAB due to feedback/changes needed to SAB inc movement skills (as they changed too much for sab to work in its current form)

Because they don’t hit very hard on their own – Unlike nades (Which are a projectile and therefore can be blocked), or traps which hit hard.
Now if you get rid of the unblock part marks will need to become 100% stronger then they are now.
Sounds like instead of creating a counter or l2p… you just want to get them nerfed cos.. lazy.

Sorry, But Patch notes, blogs, posts, balance notes etc… they’re there for a reason… and it’s not to make the devs happy either.. They write out all that information “for the players to read”… If you decide NOT to read the info they bring out, then that’s your fault for not knowing something that the devs put/changed in game.
Also, wiki, !google! are already out there to search in
In chat.. typing /wiki brings up.. the wiki … /wiki Stick of butter… will bring up the wiki page for “stick of butter”
Tooltips would be pointless and would be everywhere.. What one tooltip for one player would mean nothing to another.
Best solution.. Read what the devs bring out. Then you would know.. Just like a lot of players already do.
