Dusk, 25 Black Lion Keys and 250g was sent today/last night! I still have 5,834 gold left… I have no use for any of this gold I do not care for changing my characters look or anything like this. I’d much rather it was used for you guys. The Roffians, the ones that don’t give up! and to make you all smile. So expect more giveaways soon! Public commanders, scouts and what not could see some money given to them when i’m online to help out with expenses around the borderlands and some giveaways to people following you. Now back on track. We moved up! Rank 18 now and against servers that have roamers, open field, siege wars. Cheese builds, fair builds, there’s something for everyone’s playstyle.

I always have trouble finding/watching Twitch VoDs on mobile so I fallback to YouTube most of the times. Sadly Anet uploads their streams days later to this platform so I decided to do it myself, temporarily, for the sake of the people in my situation. I’ll do this for all the streams from here on out and will delete them once they are uploaded to the official GW2 page.

What I miss most about old LA (pre-destruction) was

For the last 4 weeks (i believe) we are fighting the same MU againt 2 servers that blob the hell out of everything but I sometimes go and roam on my warrior/mesmer and there’s plenty of nice 1vs2+ or 1vs1 fights out there around camps.
I don’t do it that often (maybe 4-5 times in the last 2 weeks) but looks decent.
Maybe some one more roam orientated will provide more insight.

Here’s an idea that is pure convenience so it has potential to generate revenue for anet without sounding like a money grab:
» Have the ability to save builds in the hero UI (unlimited as long as you have all the equipment in your inventory)
» With a gem store account upgrade you get a new tab in your bank where all your weapons, armour, trinkets are stored so you won’t have to keep them in your inventory.

We have a dedicated home borderlands team that defends pretty much 24/7 on RoF BL scouting and refreshing siege and their all on TS at all times of the day.

Hello my fellow Tyrians!
Like many of you I really, really, reeeeeally enjoy the Twisted Marionette mega boss and I would like to kindly ask Anet devs and the loremaster to find a way to keep this battle for good.
I know that it’s heavily tied to Scarlet so I wouldn’t make much sense to keep it after her story arc is over but here are a few ideas that could alleviate this:
1. Keep it as a fractal: It’s a cheesy way to make it permanent because of the potential of the Mistlock Observatory but in my opinion having to modify it heavily to cater to a 5 man group would take away the excitement of the fight.
2. Make the portal overload: After the huge event that would hopefully be the end of the boss, make the portal overload and have that portion of the world be stuck in a temporal bubble. I’m quite proud of this idea because it makes sense for the event to keep happening even with Scarlet gone and it’s perfect of Anet’s “ever changing world” kinda like the wreckage and the chest in Kessex Hills. You could have a vale around the area (like the brand has) and guards spread along it warning travelers that the area is instable.
The boss battle itself is so great because it’s easy to pick up and many big guilds would want to solo it or medium-small guilds could cooperate in true GW2 fashion to take it down. Yes, we do get the wurm as permanent but I think this battle is worth keeping around and would satisfy the hardcore people too.
So come on guys! You know Anet loves feedback and actually listens to it so lets make this happen!

Oh man the idea is brilliant and it would not change the skill philosophy at all. Many will say that it would be OP but that’s how the skill should work in the 1st place anyway.

I agree, it’s so aggravating! Most of the time for me I summon it on a target that’s standing still so you’d think the “target acquisition” would be instant so it can start the animation, but noooo it has to stay there and look stupid until it dies.

I hope you get good guilds, Vabbi. I always had fun when we got you in our matchups. We steam rolled with zergs, like we get steamrolled by bigger ones from other servers, such is life and the “food chain” but at least I could expect skilled duelists and small scale fights. No offence to the top of the bronze league but I’d rather lose to Vabbi then to you because I know they fight for it and no “spam skill 1 in a 80+ blob”.
Not trying to offend anyone here but I’ve seen time and time again that only blobing around is detrimental to your personal skill progression.

Really pathetic move with the not-so-subtle alliance. And no, I’m not QQ-ing. I couldn’t care less about points. Since the season started we’ve seen an increase in WvW activity on RoF and I’m very pleased. Even our guild has jumped from 4-5 WvW regulars to over 20! But that does not take away the fact that I lost all respect for the german servers we’re facing. I’m sorry for the people that didn’t agree to do it, I’m sure you’re out there, but the rest have defaced you.

Thanks for the feedback. When I said a bonfire I had the NPC there as well. Having it in the home instance would be amazing, considering you can bring a party with you there.
I posted here and not in suggestions because it’s a marginal improvement to only a niche group of people therefore it won’t get priority. So here at least I get feedback from people interested in the lore aspect of the game.

I was watching WoodenPotatoe’s latest Q&A (link) and one of the questions was about the way Anet dishes out the lore to the player base (at 13:10 mark).
Now a bit about my experience with lore (and I think many will relate): I’m not the type that goes out of his way to get to nice little lore bits and pieces and then speculate on them but I do enjoy how WP does it and it got me hooked. Brings a smile to my face whenever I see a new GW2 related video on his channel.
Back to my Idea. Because we have all kind of players, some interested in lore, some interested in farming, some interested in accumulating Achievement Points, it’s hard to focus on just one so why not have a myriad of activities for all of them at the same time?
Let me expand on this idea. Knowing that Scarlet will play a big role as a main villain for a long time, it’s gonna get stale really fast if we go after her month after month and she gets away every time. It would look like we’re not gaining any ground. So Anet release some Living World updates that have nothing to do with her and that’s great! (Teq, SAB, the one coming soon etc)
So here’s how I would implement a non-Scarlet LW update that would cater to 99% of the player base (lets call it “Stories around the bonfire”):
Around Tyria we will have spots (similar to Queen’s Jubilee balloons) where you would have to defeat a bunch of enemies in order to unlock it. This will cater to the farmy players.
Once the site is unlocked you sit around a bonfire and an NPC starts telling you a story (could use those already written ones that WP said that exist). This will appease to the lore-oriented players.
After clearing each site you get some AP and at the end of all of them you’ll be finished with the LW meta and maybe get a model of a bonfire (something like the Zephyr Sanctum model) that will allow you to re-read all the stories on interact. This will make the achievement hunters happy.
That’s basically it, in a nutshell. But now you are thinking what types of foes would you have to fend off in order to unlock each bonfire. Here is where I need your help. Any ideas? I was thinking that it would be enemies that are part of the story you’re unlocking (so for example if the story is about the inquest you will have to fight off inquest that are trying to stop you from finding out about them).
A nifty addition will be a title like “Avid Historian” so players that like to speculate and learn more about the GW2 universe would be easy to identify. Imagine sitting in LA with the title and another players walk up to you and says “Hey, what did you think about the story about the Tengu? Do you think we will hear more about them?”. And bam! you, potentially, made a new friend that shares the same love of lore as you do.
That’s if for now. I will update this post as ideas keep flowing in and I can’t wait to hear your feedback.

This issue has been going on for MONTHS now. Disappointed to see such a major and easy to reproduce error go unresolved for so long. Patch after patch I was hoping to see this resolved. Now I just dodge roll after a blink.
