I didn’t notice that myself, but when running Strength (which he was, at least when he had the rifle), you do that to (1) proc Reckless Dodge for 2-4k aoe damage, and (2) to bring endurance below 100% so you gain +10% damage from Stick and Move.

Iirc, you see him dodging before rifle bursting, even when nobody is attacking him. That’s what you should do when you have Stick and Move.

playing as a char warrior and looking at this video, I can guarantee you that there is something wrong with char warriors:

• When I use shield #4 on my char warrior, the leap range is very small compared to the leaps shown on this video.

Another thing:
WTF is up with the DPS of over 23K? I use all ascended gear and I can do maximum about 6k and if it is a lucky critical hit with bursts about 11K, but never 23K with blades.

When I say all ascended gear is zerker, I really mean it, including legendary weapons and infusions.

I am starting to think chars must have a bug.

Guards are char warriors and they have full movement on Shield Bash. Maybe you’re getting lag? It’s been bad lately, and I find it can cut movement on all of our skills.

Not sure how you figured 23k dps there… I mean, maybe a few times when he landed some aoe. But his numbers seem pretty normal to me.

EDIT: Or are you talking about 23k Gunflames? I didn’t notice any of those, but if that’s what you mean, it looks to me like he’s running Strength there instead of Defense, with Berserker Power for +20%, +10% from Stick and Move, full Bloodlust stacks, Signet of Might, some might, and probably some vulnerability on the target. That said the Gunflames I noticed ranged from 10k-18k or so.

He was able to do 23+K with 100 blades. I have experimented with many many gear and sigils and no build I have tried can reach 23K. I am extremely zerker that even a leaf falling from a tree can kill me.

axe vs mace is a damage vs utility trade off. mace has a block & soft cc, whereas the axe has raw damage. both work in wvw.

im running GS/rifle in pvp myself.

I know the difference between weapons and the traitoffs. Still a hard choice though

I’m still concidering If I would use it for roaming or not. (instead of Gsaxeshield right)

This is the mainreason why my inventory is always full. I always have that “you are outcumbered” message. I have to say, sins Im not give a kitty about loot the game is starting to be normal again.

The thing is we will see more boonstrips and the epi hype will continue.

Remove avatar of melandru for warrior. The elite skill is useless, pointless, weak, dissapointing etc. Its realy useless in everyway. Why does this weak skill has this insane cd? Even with a 10sec cd I still wouldnt use it. I cant even imagine a moment were this skill is perfect to use. Replace it with something usefull.

I dont want to disrespect your effort but the dev’s never read warrior forums.
There are thousands of posts like these, and with every balance update the devs mostly do stuff that no one asked for. Like, giving +15 extra healing on healing signet.

This is why i have 2 greatswords. 1 with cleans sigil instead of hydro, combined with brawlers recovery, is 2 condi clear on weaponswap to gs. the small condi’s you can cleanse. For the big condi bombs I use beserkerstance and healing signet (not at he same time ofc) Signet of stamina instead of endure is also a option but I think thats overkill, i do fine vs pure condi without that signet. Vs hybrids Im not always active healingsignet for resist boon cause adrenaline health only gives not the needed sustain for my feeling.

Gw2 in 2012 was unbalanced. The game was also unbalanced in the year 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016. So yeah, not hard to predict how the game will be in 2017 xD

the first match is warrior v warrior, & there’s quite a few warriors in the tournament.

at base level, it’s ‘use stuns to land f1s’ but there is more nuance to the class. how you use the great sword is important, it’s got a lot of valuable evasion & mobility. like anything it’s very situational, but you are always going to want to be aggressive & burst heavily.

i’m playing mostly condi these days (multiple builds) but GS M/Sh with Destroyers Amulet is really strong & pretty straightforward to play.

Warrior can also do unblockable attacks lol.

Shield is fine though. I Block attacks, shoot back projectiles, CC the enemy with my shield, and also gain allot of might from my shield. Learn to play warrior.

I’d totally run my trailblazer warrior build for commanding lol. I’d probably drop one of my utilities for endure pain for safe measure, but it is incredibly tanky and can still deal some nice AOE condition damage.

Guilds that are doing “scrimmaging” want to fight often more then 1 guild.
If there are lots of guilds @ for example homeboarder. Homeboarder seems bussy, there is a Q already and lots of enemy guilds to fight. In this situation (wich happen often) guilds are not going to do a best out of 3 somewere in the corner of a jumping puzzle. They rather stay on the map.

We all know that its give your party full hp with very low cd. I see allot of WvW guild abusing this. To make things even worst there is also a glitch were you can active the skill while canceled so it doesnt go on cd. Why Arenanet?!?!

To be honest, I dont know whats viable in Pve and what the best pve warrior setup is, sins I only come to pve If I need to craft something.
But I did saw people here on the forums that were saying that everything is viable in pve.
So maybe it doesnt matter at all? I dunno

1# you use extra Burning duration bonusses from runes but you dont have condition damage or Burning pressure.
2# you use 2 sigils twice instead of 4 different sigils. You would be better of with swap to weapon sigil bonusses.
3# to much precision (50% is enough)
4# you are to squizzy but I’m not sure If that matters in pve land.
5# use defence instead of strenght.
6# banners = utility-slot waste.
7# signet of Fury is useless
8# weak runes
9# choose anything accept Inspiring Battle Standard (you are not a healer)
10# select burst mastery over heightened Focus.

I think warriors these days dont use the tactic traitline at all.
