Well, I contacted support couple weeks back. One of Anet’s staff contacted me through email asking me to do things like traceroute and WinMTR. The end response was it was not on their server side but the mid server between our ISP and Anet’s server. Can any techsavvy guy confirm about this? I contacted my ISP to let them know about this problem and provided them the reports I saved. But still same results I get ingame. Seems to happen only in gw2

The problem is, it’s their server side problem. Not ours to begin with. And this lagfest has been going on for a while but no fixes to it.

The only thing standing in between I guess is map completion. If you have multiple characters with map completion then crafting is definitely much cheaper.

Is ANet going to address on this? This is getting beyond unbearable. After that balance patch I keep getting disconnected for no reason. Especially in fractals. Before that, I don’t even have any problems like this.

Might as well make everything purchasable if that’s the case.

Seriously at OP, this thread is nonsense. Back in the day many lvled through EoTM. That includes me too. So does this mean is Anet fault for doing so? Even if new players insta lvled to 80, they still need world completion and other stuffs. They still have to go through the same process as everyone else doing anything. And also what makes you a veteran for such childish attitude? If you want to leave, leave. You being here won’t make any historical changes.

Or if you want fast lvling you could head into Edge of The Mist wvw map. Just use all the exp boosters. Just follow the commander tag if available. Every wvw lvl gets you proof of heroic in which can use it to get hero points.

Is it possible for Anet to come up with this? Under Hero> Equipment we can have like Equipment 1, 2, 3 which is linked to the traits and utility so we could swap builds on the fly? I know many might not agree but just wondering.. please don’t flame me

Shadow Refuge triggers Signet of Shadows and making them having the same cooldown. Am I doing something wrong? Happens to me sometimes in open world and in WvW maps.

Hi, am looking for a guild to call home. But my timing is a bit odd. Am able to get on on weekdays during 4am-8am gmt+8 due to me ending my work at 3am. And on sundays a whole day free unless I have something on. So are there any guild out there that do WvW during such odd timings?

Hi, regarding about server transfer. If I make a transfer, will those account bound items follow? And those bank tabs? And do I need to re-level my character?

Rangers may not be as good as other class but… but… I still enjoy ranger alot. I don’t know why. Whenever I see good players on rangers, they make me not to give up.

Silverwaste chest farm is good for mats and gold. Thats what I do when I’m not bored. Kinda get reptitive after couple of runs. And if you run fractals regularly and get lots of ascended boxes, you can change the stats using the mystic forge. It costs 5 ectos, 10 spirit shards, exotic insignia (eg:berzerker’s) and the ascended piece if I’m not wrong. Hope that helps. I’m kinda new too

Is there a way to do this? Everytime when i switch character I have to rebind the keys again, although it isn’t much of a problem.

So nice to see so many ele players reply! That time I did tried ele as human but maybe not quite used to swapping F1-F4 for skills so deleted at lvl26. Tonight am going home to create a cute asuran ele to slowly learn the playstyle of ele.

Been wanting to make a cute lil asuran ele. Is ele fun? From what I see in youtube they have to keep swapping F1-F4. Been playing 3 months + ranger and wanting to try something new. So the question is are ele fun to play? Please help T_T

Literally the only things I can think of that give no experience is opening champ bags on a specific level (to get crafting resources/equipment for salvaging appropriate to that level range)

Another thing I myself prefer is that each map drop that specific lvl item eg: lvl req 25-35 maps drop items within that lvl range instead of a lvl 80 char in that map still drop lvl 80 items. I wouldn’t gone through that tedious chest farming just to open up the bags on a lower char for mats. This is just so tedious. Just my personal opinion.

In all the MMOs I’ve played, I’ve never seen such a wonderful community before! And I’m only ingame 380+ hours. The people I’ve met, when I just finished installing and logged in to start my very first GW2 journey, they helped me out, showed me around and it really made me felt part of the community.

And many thanks to all the people here that made GW2 not only a great game but a great coummunity as well!

I guess I will go for the Laurels. Then I will go for Silverwaste chest farm for materials to promote. But but.. I also want ascended armor. Don’t know which direction to start first..arrggh.

I would say maybe like 10% into it? Slowly starting out to get the materials and such. I’ve saved up 3 Chest of Loyalty since my playtime is only 3 months. Have around 75 Laurels now since I did spend some on ascended trinkets. So for now at the end of the day, 7 mystic clovers vs 20 Laurels which is better for me?

What if the opposing baddies were made playable? The Inquests, Svanirs, Centaurs, Flame Legions and the likes? Their ingame stories made intertwined to the main stories? WvW the good vs the bad? I would love to play Svanirs for once. What do you guys think? Just an imagination..

Thanks guys for all the encouragement Just finished the final story quest. The group that helped me out were kind too! Although I did died 2 – 3 times they still helped me out. Right now I’m going to find all the pets first by walking around and collecting waypoints (impt to me). One thing I must admit, the dragons in here were more devious looking than the ones in Skyrim~

HI, thanks for the reply here! Just completed the story dungeon quest in defeating Zhaitan. Really enjoyed it. I bought 1 part of the extra season2 content (Gates of Maguuma) to try it out and I must say the storyline is quite engaging! Feels like a singleplayer game again. Right now I’m just walking throughout to get the rest of the waypoints for the world map for easy travelling.

Yup, got to 80 in a week. I don’t know, just did all those quests along the way which got me up. Anyway thanks alot guys, I finally have a little sense of direction :p

I would say try everything. See what you like doing in the game.

Rangers aren’t terrible in a dungeon if played right. The only thing is that there are a number of bad ranger players out there that have given ranger a bad name. My advice for dungeons is to forget longbow exists, aside from a few exceptions. Standing back and ranging is going to ruin most dungeon strategy.

If you’re on a NA server, I wouldn’t mind mentoring and shooting you a guild invite. I tend to be on at some weird times though.
