RS2 works for every projectile, even those that comes from behind. Its perfectly reliable and only the first frame of the animation can be interrupted by headshot.
Its good that the daily tourneys dont reward much. If they did the real good teams would just steamroll through them and it would be hard for you average team to ever get a good placement.

1) Will there be opportunities for shoutcasters to stream the weekly/monthly? As in, will you bring back the authorized shoutcaster program?
We won’t have the ability to spectate matches at launch.
2) Can you share an estimation of the gold earned for a tournament win? Outside of those statues, will there be any incentive at all for a team to win more than one monthly tournament since they’ll be rewarded with the full set once they win the first one?
First place in the monthlies gets 500 gold, 100 mystic coins, 3 ascended armor boxes, a llama box, a title, and 4 weeks of access to Champion’s Rest. My hope, is that we’ll be able to change out rewards as we get access to them.
3) how will qualifyng points work cross region wise? Is there anything to stop an european team going to NA in order to farm QPs in a less competitive enviroment?
If you switch regions and participate in a tournament, you will have your QP zeroed out.

Can we not have real money on the table? The community driven tournament should be for the community. Putting money on the table just seems like it’s trying to bring back ESL, but without the actual support of ESL.
Just put some legendaries in the prize pool. Or maybe Anet will be nice and gift lege armor when that comes out.
Most competitive players moved on already. Except those who are playing for competitions only, you’re not gonna make them come back with in-game stuff for a game they arent playing anymore.
Like if theres nothing special to win ill play some tournaments because i like that but i wont commit for it.
So, how could the community contribute to this initiative?
I was thinking maybe have a guild we can join to deposit gold into each month to serve as either a bump to the prize pool and/or to allow for runner up prizes as well. If you make the effort to do a daily it gives you 2g so those who currently don’t do dailies you could spend an extra minute or two, get the daily and donate that a few times. You don’t just have to PvP for dailies, there’s often easy WvW and PvE dailies.
I’d be willing to contribute 10-50g a month as a regular donation to begin with maybe more if I ever become a TP baron.
I believe prize pool gonna consist of real money, and thats better for everyone.
I heard it could be donation based, like TI for Dota. Dunno if its gonna be like that but its a good idea.

- Daily AT can give us Qualification points for monthly or weekly AT (thus being streamed if there is enough interest). The monthly and weekly AT can have a swiss-system format allowing the participation of a bigger number of teams (I’m being optimistic maybe with the number of teams)
Yes. I like the idea of a qualification for monthly AT’s. That would definitely be a good thing for the PvP community. This game needs something like that to be implemented quickly before its too late.
Revenant is in an interesting place in PvP. It’s undoubtedly one of the more difficult professions to play, but when mastered it is devastating on the battlefield. We’re going to bring some elements of the main power build down slightly,

I wonder what’s wrong this season though, nobody even prestige 2+ right now which is extremely strange to me.
The only reason why nobody is prestige 2+ is because you simply cant get Qpop once you reach legend 2. This 15 pips range limitation must be deleted for Legend players.
This kind of QQbot makes me cry for real.

You can only have one of each class this season so teams can not run double revenant. If they were allowed to though, yeah I think you would be about right.
Looks like a L2P issue to be really honest with you.
The video you uploaded show us that you lack everything that is required to be considered as a good player. You’re playing your own build, which is different of meta aura s/f ele, and it obviously doesnt work. First of all, play meta, its an essential point.
Then, I have to talk about individual skill and rotation. I dont know why you considered yourself as a top player before HoT, but the mistakes i am seeing are absolutely not HoT related. You do have terrible rotations , fighting out of point while playing support ele, slow skill rotations… and many other things that makes you a drag for your team.
To win games, you simply cant rest on your teammates. You have to do the job by yourself. The matchmaking is obviously not perfect, but if you’re on a 40 or so losing streak, its your entire fault.
Played Soloq as a druid/necro with a ~90% winrate untill ruby. Struggled 1 week in ruby, and then passed through diamond in 2 days without even loosing a game. Yet im legend and still have such a high winrate (2 loses out of 10 games usually).
This season 2 is way more simple to carry than previous season. And the winstreak system makes the grind really quick.
