Totally agree, matchmaking system is so kittened i’ve havent seen a close game since a kitten long time. All games are just stupidly one-sided.
And best part, there’s not even an active leaderboard … This PvP mode is just uninteresting, but sadly there’s nothing else to do on this game.

Yes, I’ve also noticed it on Bifrost, Incinerator, Rodgort and Howler. I think all legys with an aura are affected. It’s kinda annoying.

To be honest, im not desappointed at all about Necro’s changes. It is rather the opposite. I feel way stronger than before with condimancer.

Blowing one of your stunbreaks to transfer 4 seconds of vulnerability and whatever random kitten condition they decide to add to it. Brilliant strategy.
I don’t know what world you live in, but the change to Consume Conditions wasn’t on the same planet as planet buff. Either you take Master of Corruption, get the 10s recharge, and lose out on PoC or Terror. Or you don’t and now it got nerfed 5 seconds and gives10 stacks vulnerability for 4 seconds that using a condition transfer for is a terrible idea.
There’s now way i’ll use plague for reverting Vulnerabilty. And I never ever said that this buff can balance CC’s nerf.
Tbh, thief players will forever ardently defend Withdraw, as I do with CC, which is normal tho.
Totally agree. Necro’s are only looking at the “dark side” of the patch. However, there’s a lot of new stuff, especially for power necros, which can be considerer as a buff to our profession. Especially the Plague Signet’s one, or the Withering precision buff (5 seconds weakness with 10 seconds CD is nice). Well, as a power necro main, except that weird CC’s nerf (im waiting to see conditions added by the trait before starting whining hard), the upcoming changes doesn’t look that horrible.

I started to theory craft builds for Power Necro too, doesn’t looks bad at all as far i can see. We’ll just have to deal with Vulnerability stacks on heal.
Just incase people didn’t notice in the notes, Lich Form is now a spectral skill which means it benefits from the spectral mastery trait. This should mean a 22.5 second Lich Form that also grants 20% life force overall AND has its CD reduced by 20%. Lich Form actually got buffed this patch (if you go soul reaping).
I’d really like for them to make Terror into the Master minor, swap PoC into Grandmaster and put Parasitic Contagion into its master slot. This then leaves a Master trait open for them to do with whatever they want. The issues with Terror is that it’s almost always going to outshine every other trait in its current line so it blocks out too many choices imo.
Thing is you have to take a trait for it. And to sacrifice Vital Persistance, which is one of the most important trait.
Even if they take a look at necros forum, they wont change anything. Because

Im not sure you get what i wanted to say actually. Anyway.
Don’t forget that some traits has been agregated together. (like Vital Persistence and Path of Midnight for example). It can basically be considerate as a CD reduction of all Shroud’s skills (Power Necro’s are forced to play Vital Persistence at the moment, and thus sacrifice Path of Midnight).
Its a dodge heal that removes cripple/chill or imob and heals for roughly 4200, 4600 after the patch and is an 18 second cooldown, reduced to about 14-15 seconds with a trait. The complaint is nothing but grasping at straws.
Thing is the very low CD allows thieves to spam it as soon as they get hitted by something. The low CD allows thieves to entirely reset a fight just by waiting for it in stealth.
Actually, the real problem is Vulnerability. Trait will get CC’s cooldown to 20s.

Who knows what additional condition it adds…the one on Plague probably pulses and what could they possibly add on top of weakness to CPC. I didn’t play GW but this look similar to their corruptions style the only benefit here is CD reduction transfers are already busy with the foes conditions.

Necro design is just terrible which makes them absolutely redundant as a class. Necro is neither fun to play as they suck in tpvp and fullfull no role nor is it fun to play against. Power necros are some gimmick kitten that much like power ranger revolve around spamming 2 skills whilst condi necros will just spam conditions on you without the need to combo certain skills. If it wasn’t for the synergy with some sigils, I’m pretty sure necro would not even have a single semi viable build. (I’m saying semi viable because no matter how you put it – necro isn’t viable in tpvp).
If there was a class to be deleted from the game, I would – without a single doubt – vote for necro, as it feels so out of place in comparison to any other class. It’s a cheap ripoff off gw1 necros that has abysmal class design/abilities and is absolutely annoying/frustrating to play against.
Now I admit, I’m an avid necro hater, but even after almost three years of fighting necros, the fight/outcome still feels completly random. There are barely (if any) key skills to dodge and I’m usually more concerned about some passive procs or random procs than what the nec is actually doing. This is probably also due to the fact that necro still has the worst kittening animations in the game. Every skill of a weaponset seems to have more or less the same animation with only slight differences that aren’t as easy to spot in a fight. Also fear – their trademark condi – seems to be applied so randomly its not even funny anymore. I sometimes get the feeling that necros themselves barely have any control over the utilization of fear.

A bit useless, 8 seconds of might with a 30 seconds CD skill. However, it makes necro a bit more usefull for group.
Consume Conditions: This skill is now considered a corruption skill and applies 10 stacks of vulnerability to you for 4 seconds after use. Increased recharge to 30 seconds.

3 more seconds on cooldown won’t change a lot of thing tho. Thieves will still able to spam it every time they get hitted, as they do at the moment. That’s not enough in my opinion.

Please, can someone tell me why devs decided to nerf Consume Condition hard and to buff Withdraw, which is obviously the strongest heal IG by far ?
It’s such a ridiculous idea, Consume Condi was balanced enough (due to a pretty long casting time). Withdraw is just unblockable 15s CD heal.

Necros have to use plague/lich for countering rampage, its the only way to stay alive.
I use to have troubles with medi guards and (obviously) thieves while i am playing shattermes. Ah, and hard pressure condition builds can be hard to deal with too.
Reaper’s GS will be a zerker weapon, so you can already buy a zerker armor for it.
But you can wait till upcoming balance and see if Condimancer’s getting viable again.
